    The Effect of the 5E Learning Cycle Model on Student Learning Outcomes in Islamic Elementary School

    This study aims to determine the effect of the 5E learning cycle model on student learning outcomes in grade IV, especially on the material life cycle of living things. The effect of this study is shown by the difference in the average student learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. This research is quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control design. The population in this study were all fourth-grade students at MI Nurul Islam, a total of 109 children. The sampling technique in this study used the Simple Random Sampling technique. It is said to be simple (simple) because the collection of sample members is done randomly without regard to the strata in the population. The sample in this study was class IVA which consisted of 28 students as the experimental class, and class IVD which consisted of 27 students as the control class. In data collection techniques, researchers used documentation, observations, and tests. In this study, researchers obtained primary data by means of interviews, observations, and tests. Meanwhile, researchers obtained secondary data from several relevant journals, books, and previous research. The data analysis technique used is to test (independent t-test). Based on the results of the t-test (independent t-test), the results obtained were Sig. (2-tailed) has a value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is an influence between the two variables. And the correlation/relationship (R) value is 0.875. From this output, the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 76.6%. This shows that the Learning Cycle 5E learning model influences student learning outcomes by contributing 76.6%, and the rest is influenced by other variables

    AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah penggunaan media pembelajaran di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah yang masih kurang bervariasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pop-up book terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi konsep siklus air, dan respons siswa terhadap penggunaan pop-up book. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah Kelas V Sift 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas V Sift 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis data menggunakan rumus korelasi biserial memperoleh hasil rbis (0,711171) lebih dari r-tabel (0,32) untuk taraf signifikan 5% maka H0 ditolak, Ha diterima. Pengaruh penggunaan media pop-up book terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi konsep siklus air adalah sebesar 50,41%, dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Respon siswa terhadap penggunaan pop-up book adalah sebesar 88,26%, yaitu berada pada kategori sangat baik. AbstractThis research is motivated by the problem of using learning media in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah which is still less varied.     ADVANCED CHATBOT DEVELOPMENT TO IMPROVE STUDENT LITERACY AND NUMERACY SKILLS

    The literacy and numeracy skills of prospective teacher students are still in the very low category. This is an indication that the opportunity to increase students' literacy and numeracy skills is still very high. The purpose of this study was to measure the increase in literacy and numeracy in science learning using the Advanced Chatbot media. This type of research is an experimental research with a pretest-posttest group design technique. The research was conducted at the students of Elementary School Teacher Education, Walisongo State Islamic University, Semarang and University of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta, with a total of 57 students. The data acquisition technique used a test instrument. The literacy and numeracy indicators used are based on the achievements developed by PISA 2015 namely knowledge and skills to 1) use various numbers and symbols related to basic mathematical concepts to solve practical problems in various contexts of everyday life; and 2) analyze the information displayed in the form of graphs, tables, and charts. Then use the interpretation of these results to predict and make decisions. The test instrument was declared valid as seen from the level of difficulty and the suitability of the items. The results of the analysis show the mean value of n-Gain is 0.32 in the medium category. This means that there is an increase in student literacy and numeracy in science learning assisted by advanced chatbot media. In conclusion, advanced chatbots can be used as an alternative media for science learning which can effectively improve students' literacy and numeracy skills

    AbstractThis research aims to (1) understand the development of differentiated learning tools as initiators of independent learning, (2) assess the feasibility of differentiated learning tools as initiators of independent learning, and (3) determine the effectiveness of learning using differentiated learning tools as initiators of independent learning. The research adopted the Research and Development (RD) methodology, employing data collection techniques such as documentation, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research yielded learning tools in the form of Syllabus (RPS), Lesson Implementation Plan (LKM), authentic evaluation instruments, and instruments for learning styles that are highly suitable according to experts. The effectiveness of the tools was evidenced by significantly high scores with a Sig (2-tailed) value less than 0.05. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Memahami cara mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sebagai inisiator merdeka belajar, (2) Mengetahui kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sebagai inisiator merdeka belajar, (3) Mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sebagai inisiator merdeka belajar. Jenis dari penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian Research and Developement (RD). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian perangkat pembelajaran berupa  RPS, LKM, instrumen evaluasi autentik, dan instrumen untuk gaya belajar yang sangat layak digunakan menurut ahli serta perangkat efektiv dengan nilai yang sangat signifikan ditandai dengan skor Sig (2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05.Kata kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran berdiferensiasi; merdeka belajar

    Pengembangan Petunjuk Praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia Berbasis Learning Cycle 5E untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains Calon Guru MI/SD

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia berbasis learning cycle 5E yang valid dan implementasi petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan Proses Sains Calon guru. Prosedur pengembangan dalam penelitian ini mengadopsi berbasis pengembangan Cennamo dan Kalk dengan langkah - langkah (1) fase pendefinisian yang meliputi studi pustaka, observasi awal; (2) fase perencanaan petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia dan instrumen penelitian; (3) fase peragaan atau uji coba skala kecil; (4) fase pengembangan petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia; dan (5) fase penyajian pada skala luas. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah “one group pretest posttest design”. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Populasi sample yang terpilih adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah ibtidaiyah (PGMI) UIN Walisongo Semarang semester IV angkatan 2016/2017. Hasil simpulan bahwa Petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat valid. Petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains calon guru MI/SD dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,51 dengan kategori sedang. Respon mahasiswa terhadap petunjuk praktikum IPA Fisika-Kimia yang dikembangkan adalah sangat baik dengan rerata skor 26,6

    AbstrakPembelajaran matematika perlu dirancang untuk mendorong siswa memiliki kemahiran matematis, seperti kemampuan pemahaman, komunikasi, koneksi, penalaran dan pemecahan masalah matematis. Kemampuan itu diperlukan supaya siswa dapat menerapkan dan memanfaatkan informasi matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal tersebut sejalan dengan literasi matematika. Literasi matematika menurut OECD (2016), didefinisikan sebagai kapasitas untuk mengenal dan memahami peran matematika di dunia, memecahkan masalah matematika dalam berbagai konteks, menafsirkan pernyataan matematika, dan menerapkan matematika secara rasional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi matematika siswa ditinjau dari gaya belajar Kolb siswa kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dengan pembelajaran discovery learning pendekatan RME. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun hasil dari penelitian adalah dilihat dari 7 indikator dalam literasi matematika bahwa gaya belajar siswa tipe accommodator lebih baik dibandingkan gaya belajar lainnya. Gaya belajar assimilator dan diverger kemampuan literasi matematika siswa hampir sama tetapi gaya belajar converger paling rendah dibandingkan dari assimilator dan diverger.AbstractMathematics learning needs to be designed to encourage students to have mathematical skills, such as the ability to understand, communicate, connect, reason and solve mathematical problems. Capability is needed so students can apply and utilize mathematical information in their daily lives. This is in line with mathematical literacy. Mathematical literacy according to the OECD (2016), is defined as the capacity to recognize and understand the role of mathematics in the world, solve mathematical problems in various contexts, interpret mathematical statements, and apply mathematics rationally. The purpose of this study was to determine the students' mathematical literacy skills in terms of Kolb's learning style of class V Ibtidaiyah Madrasas with discovery learning learning the RME approach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study are seen from 7 indicators in mathematical literacy that the accommodator type of student learning style is better than other learning styles.     Development of Literacy and Numeracy-Based Assessment Instruments for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Students

    This study aims to develop a good literacy and numeracy-based assessment instrument and the implementation of instrument of the assessment is expected to measure the literacy and numeracy skills of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education UIN Walisongo students. The development procedure in this study adopts the Cennamo and Kalk development reseachr program (R&D) model with steps (1) defining phase, which includes literature study and preliminary observation; (2) the planning phase in the form of the preparation of 30 questions of literacy and numeracy-based assessment instruments; (3) the demonstration phase in the form of a theoretical test of the validity of the question by the expert; (4) the development phase in the form of improving questions based on validators' suggestions and conducting question implemented to number of 35 students to determine empirically valid questions; and (5) the phase of presenting theoretically and empirically valid question instruments as many as 19 questions on a broader scale with 42 students and determining the level of literacy and numeracy skills of students. The selected sample population was students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education UIN Walisongo Semarang, third-semester class of 2020/2021. Sampling is carried out by purposive sampling technique. The result concludes that the assessment instrument developed meets the criteria of feasible and valid theoretically and empirically. The literacy and numeracy skills of PGMI UIN Walsiongo students in the low category are seen from the analysis of the six literacy and numeracy indicators

    Analisis pembiayaan ijarah multijasa berdasarkan PSAK 107 di koperasi simpan pinjam dan pembiayaan syariah (KSPPS) Hudatama Semarang

    Penelitian ini dilakukan di Koperasi Simpan Pinjam dan Pembiayaan Syariah (KSPPS) Hudatama Semarang dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan akad ijarah dalam pembiayaan multijasa serta mengetahui kesesuaiannya dengan PSAK 107 tentang Akuntansi Ijarah. Ijarah multijasa merupakan salah satu produk pembiayaan KSPPS Hudatama, yaitu pembiayaan yang diberikan oleh KSPPS Hudatama kepada anggota dalam memperoleh manfaat atas suatu jasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan observasi baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, wawancara kepada karyawan KSPPS Hudatama, dokumentasi serta penelusuran data online terkait dengan penelitian yang dilakukan di KSPPS Hudatama ini. Hasil dari analisis data pembiayaan ijarah multijasa yang dilakukan di KSPPS Hudatama dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembiayaan ijarah multijasa berdasarkan PSAK 107 di KSPPS Hudatama belum terlaksana sepenuhnya. Karena dari lima poin pembahasan yaitu biaya perolehan, penyusutan, pengakuan pendapatan, beban atau biaya perbaikan serta perpindahan kepemilikan hanya 60% yang dapat diterapkan, sedangkan 40% lainnya belum diterapkan karena tidak sesuai dengan pembiayaan ijarah multijasa yang tanpa aset berwujud

    The Influence of Horray's Course Review Learning Model on Science Learning Outcomes at Islamic Elementary School

    This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students using the Course Review Horay learning model on the science subject for fourth-grade students at MI Nashrul Fajar Meteseh, Tembalang Subdistrict, Semarang. The study aims to investigate whether there are differences in learning outcomes between students using conventional teaching methods and those using the Course Review Horay model. This research is an experimental study with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques include observations, interviews, tests, and documentation. The population of this study consists of all fourth-grade classes (A, B, C, D) at MI Nashrul Fajar Meteseh, with a total of 129 students. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 63 students from fourth-grade classes A and B. The researchers employed field research methods, obtaining sources from official documents related to ecological spirituality and interviews with informants. Additionally, secondary sources such as books, journals, articles, and relevant literature reviews were utilized. The research design employed qualitative research, with data collected in the form of written or spoken language and observed behaviors. Due to the non-normal distribution of class data for normality and homogeneity tests, the non-parametric Wilcoxon formula was used to assess the impact of the Course Review Horay model on the study. The research findings indicate a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students using the Course Review Horay learning model compared to those using conventional teaching methods for science in the fourth grade at MI Nashrul Fajar. Based on the Wilcoxon test results, a significant value of 0.000 was obtained, which was smaller than 0.05. This implies that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the Course Review Horay learning model has an influence on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at MI Nashrul Fajar
