BackgroundManagement and control of adolescence aggression improves constructive relationships, quality of life, and academic achievement. This research aimed to study the impact of educational intervention on reduction of aggression among male high school students in Ilam city, Iran.Materials and MethodsThis quasi-experimental intervention study using the pretest-posttest method was conducted on 70 aggressive male high school students in Ilam who were selected using the convenience sampling method. First, students were asked to fill out the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire (BPAQ)and 70 of them with the highest score of aggression were selected as the sample. They received educational intervention for eight 90-minute sessions  during one month. Then post-test data were collected and follow-up at three months after the intervention and statistically analyzed using SPSS-20.ResultsThe mean age of subjects was 15.81±1.24 years old. 83% belonged to the urban community and 12.5% belonged to the rural community. The results showed that the educational intervention was effective in reduction of aggression levels and its four subscales (

Abstract The aim of the present research was to determine the role of dimensions of temperament and character in prediction of p po os si it ti iv ve e and negative symptoms in schizophrenic patients. The research sample consisted of 100 male schizophrenic patients. Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI) and Positive and Negative Symptoms Scale (PNSS) were administered. Results showed that temperament and character are related to negative symptoms in schizophrenia patients; while temperament and character aren't related to positive symptoms in schizophrenia. Results of stepwise multiple regression analysis showed dimensions of self-transcendence, cooperativeness and harm avoidance were found to be the best predictors for negative symptoms. While self-transcendence and harm avoidance were found to be the best predictors for p po os si it ti iv ve e symptoms in schizophrenic patients. These results have important implications in psychopathology of schizophrenia. These results suggest that the temperamental and character profiles of schizophrenic patients may well be of important prognostic value in the planning of cognitive enhancement therapy

The pyrazole-pyridin-2-amine, as a tridentate pyrazole ligand, and its neutral Co(II)/pyrazole complex were prepared using a direct method with a high yield. The desired pyrazole ligand and its complex were subjected to several physicochemical and thermal analyses; moreover, the DFT-like optimization of MEP, HOMO/LUMO, and TD-DFT correlated well with their experimental relatives. Additionally, the oxidation catalytic activities of the Co(II)/pyrazole complex, such as the catecholase of catechol to o-quinone and the phenoxazinone of 2-aminophenol to 2-aminophenoxazinone, were also evaluated under mild RT conditions and atmospheric oxygen
