BUSANA PESTA MALAM DENGAN SUMBER IDE KOSTUM TARI SAMAN GAYO DALAM PAGELARAN BUSANA NEW LIGHT HERITAGE

Tugas akhir bertujuan untuk : 1) Mencipta desain busana pesta malam dengan Sumber Ide Kostum Tari Saman Gayo 2) Membuat busana pesta malam dengan Sumber Kostum Tari Saman Gayo. 3) Menampilkan Busana Pesta Malam Dengan Sumber Ide Kostum tari Saman Gayo pada pagelaran busana dengan tema”New Light Haritage”. Desain busana pesta malam tercipta dengan mengkaji tema heritage kota Aceh, dengan sumber Ide Kostum Tari Saman Gayo yang merupakan kostum penari saman suku Gayo Aceh. Busana ini berkarakter sporty yang menampilkan nuansa etnik untuk remaja, dengan siluet A yang menggunakan songket dengan motif bunga jeumpa, dengan mengkaji trend,dan juga menggunakan unsur dan prinsip desain, hal berikutnya adalah proses penyajian desain sketching, presentation drawing tampak muka dan belakang. Pembuatan busana pesta malam ini meliputi tiga tahap yaitu: 1)Tahap persiapan, yang terdiri dari pembuatan gambar kerja busana pesta, gambar kerja hiasan busana dan gambar kerja pelengkap busana, pengambilan ukuran, pembuatan pola busana, perancangan bahan dan harga. 2) Tahap pelaksanaan, meliputi peletakan pola pada bahan, pemotongan dan pemberian tanda pada jahitan, penjelujuran, pengepasan I, perbaikan, penjahitan, pengepasan II dan pemberian hiasan busana. 3) Tahap evaluasi hasil meliputi pembahasan tentang masalah yang dihadapi pada proses pembuatan busana dan evaluasi hasil secara keseluruhan mengenai kesesuaian antara desain dan busana pesta yang dihasilkan. Penyelenggaraan pagelaran ini, melalui tiga tahap yaitu: 1) persiapan meliputi: pembentukan panitia, penentuan tema, penentuan tujuan pelaksanaan, penentuan waktu dan tempat serta anggaran. 2)Tahap pelaksanaan yaitu penyelenggaraan pagelaran busana yang bertema “New Light Heritage”, dan 3) Tahap evaluasi akhir yang meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan dimulai dengan gladi resik pada jam 11 siang sampai dengan pagelaran busana. Pagelaran tersebut diikuti oleh mahasiswa Teknik Busana dan Pendidikan Teknik Busana. Hasil karya dari Tugas Akhir ini adalah 1) Terciptanya desain Busana Pesta Malam dengan Sumber Ide Kostum Tari Saman Gayo, 2) Terciptanya busana pesta yang terdiri dari rompi, menggunakan bahan velvet dan dihiasi dengan weafing warna merah hati dan kuning emas,gaun yang dipadukan dengan kain songket dengan motif bunga jeumpa, 3) Ditampilkannya Busana Pesta Malam dengan Sumber Ide kostum tari Saman dalam pagelaran busana dengan tema “New Light Heritage” pada tanggal 25 Mei 2012 di Auditorium Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta

Are Immigrants Positively or Negatively Selected? The Role of Immigrant Selection Criteria and Self-Selection

This paper specifies and estimates a structural model of international migration using micro data. This provides a direct test of human capital theory that suggests that individuals respond to the earnings differentials across countries while making their migration decisions. The paper specifies migration as a joint outcome of two decision makers, i.e. the individual who decides to apply for migration and the host country that reviews applications, and identifies the factors determining the decision of these two players. The empirical results provide evidence in support of the human capital model. It is also shown that both the host country and the individual have significant impacts on the resulting charatersitics of immigrants. The results suggest negative self-selection at the application stage both in terms of observed and unobserved characteristics and a positive selection at the review step by the host country. Although there is negative self- selection in terms of schooling among applicants, as a result of the positive selection at the review step the resulting migrants are positively selected. However, in terms of unobservable characteristics the review step is unable to reverse the negative self-selection that occurs at the application stage, and the resulting migrants are negatively selected in this dimension.immigration, self-selection, Roy Model, immigration policy

Effects of Business Cycles on Labour Market Assimilation of Immigrants

This study addresses the effects of macroeconomic conditions on the labour market outcomes of immigrants. It simultaneously identifies the separate effects of macro conditions at the time of entry to the labour market and at the time of the survey, while allowing for cohort effects. Also, for the first time in literature the impacts on labour force participation along with employment outcomes are explored. The study uses 19 annual cross-sections of the Survey of Consumer Finances covering the period 1979 to 1997. The results suggest that the deterioration in the assimilation of recent immigrants is partly due to the adverse economic conditions they face in the year they enter the labour market and subsequently. Macroeconomic conditions at the time of labour market entry have adverse impacts on both labour force participation and employment. With the inclusion of controls for macro conditions, the significance and magnitude of the coefficient measuring assimilation increases. Therefore, not only the estimated cohort effects bur also the assimilation profiles are sensitive to the inclusion of controls for business cycles.Immigration, business cycle, cohort effects, economic assimilation, labour force participation, employment

RANCANG BANGUN MESIN PENGHANCUR SERABUT KELAPA KAPASITAS 80 Kg/Jam”

COCONUT FIBER CRUSHER MACHINE DESIGN WITH CAPACITY OF 80 KG/HOUR This coconut fiber crusher machine is a tool that used for crushing coconut fiber which is the output of the production are cocopeat and cocofiber. Process of manufacturing coconut fiber crusher machine is covering several stages : first stage is designing of the coconut fiber crusher machine, second stage is designing and calculating the component of coconut fiber crusher machine, third stage is fabrication process including of making the frame and assembling of coconut fiber crusher machine. Then, testing the machine including testing of machine production capacity and testing of fuel usage whether it is in accordance with the design. The results of coconut fiber crusher machine test with coconut fiber that has moisture content below 12% are obtained 76,5 kg of cocopeat per hour with 4.5 liters fuel usage per hour. Keywords : crusher machine, coconut fiber, cocopeat, design RANCANG BANGUN MESIN PENGHANCUR SERABUT KELAPA KAPASITAS 80 KG/JAM Mesin penghancur serabut kelapa ini merupakan suatu peralatan yang digunakan untuk menghancurkan serabut kelapa, dimana dalam hal ini output yang dihasilkan adalah berupa cocopeat dan cocofiber. Proses pembuatan mesin penghancur serabut kelapa meliputi beberapa tahapan, yaitu : pertama desain mesin penghancur serabut kelapa, kedua perencanaan dan perhitungan komponen pada mesin penghancur serabut kelapa, ketiga proses fabrikasi meliputi pembuatan rangka dan perakitan mesin penghancur serabut kelapa. Kemudian dilakukan pengujian mesin meliputi pengujian kapasitas produksi mesin dan pengujian penggunaan bahan bakar apakah sudah sesuai dengan hasil perencanaan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengujian mesin penghancur serabut kelapa dengan serabut kelapa yang memiliki kadar air di bawah 12% didapatkan cocopeat sebanyak 76,5 kg per jam dengan penggunaan bahan bakar 4,5 liter per jam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan strategi bagaimana suasana ujian tidak mencekam dan menemukan model manajemen pelaksanaan uji kompetensi yang dapat mengurangi kelelahan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan research and development. Penelitian diawali dengan penelitian pendahuluan dan dilanjutkan dengan diskusi kelompok terarah atau focus group discussion untuk penyempurnan model. Penyempurnaan model diawali dengan perbaikan model I menjadi model II, dan diakhiri dengan validasi model II oleh para pakar dan praktisi. Terdapat dua produk dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: 1) Panduan penilaian menjadi asesor yang menyenangkan dan 2) Uji kompetensi model tidak kontinyu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 10 penilai model, empat orang penilai menyatakan sangat layak sekali, empat orang penilai menyatakan sangat layak, dan dua orang penilai menyatakan layak. Berdasarkan penilaian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model temuan penelitian ini sangat layak diterapkan di SMK. Faktor ketenangan siswa dan bebas dari rasa takut dalam mengerjakan uji kompetensi perlu diperhatikan, dengan cara siswa perlu diberi jeda istirahat setelah selesai mengerjakan satu tugas

Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Keputusan Pembelian Air Mineral Dalam Kemasan Merek Dharma (Studi Kasus pada Konsumen CV. Bahana Tirta Alam Maritim di Kabupaten Sumbawa Besar)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian AMDK Merek Dharma. 2) pengaruh harga terhadap keputusan pembelian AMDK Merek Dharma. 3) pengaruh promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian AMDK Merek Dharma. 4) pengaruh kualitas produk, harga, dan promosi secara simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian AMDK Merek Dharma. Model yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah uji instrumen penelitian, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi berganda, dan uji hipotesis. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah SPSS 16. Data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan data skunder dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) kualitas produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan yang di tunjukan dengan nilai  untuk variabel kualitas produk ialah sebesar  0.000 dimana nilai ini < 0,05. 2) Harga berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan yang ditunjukan dengan nilai untuk variabel harga ialah sebesar 0.820 dimana nilai ini > dari 0,05. 3) Promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan yang ditunjukan dengan nilai untuk variabel promosi ialah sebesar 0.005 dimana nilai ini < 0,05. Secara simultan kualitas produk, harga, dan promosi mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian sebesar 31,0%

GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING MANAGEMENT AT MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI 1 MEDAN

Abstract: This paper is a result of field research on guidance and counseling management at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan with qualitative methods. This study aims to reveal how management elements such as Planning, Organizing, Implementation, and Supervision become a design of the guidance and counseling implementation by guidance and counseling teachers. Based on the research analysis, guidance and counseling teachers make plans consisting of annual, semester, monthly, weekly and daily programs to then create a duplicated program from the previous year's program and there is relatively no modification as required by students' needs and Madrasah abilities and does not pay attention to needs assessment. The management elements have not been used by the madrasa as the guidance and counseling management parameters, in this case many factors are the cause. The leader's vision and mission, which have not been supported by an understanding of what and how important management is in an organization, it is a central issue besides the small sense of responsibility for one job. Organizing goes without clear direction. Professionalism of guidance and counseling teacher and limited funds to be a complementary factor. UNDANG-UNDANG SULTAN ADAM 1835 DALAM PERSPEKTIF SEJARAH HUKUM

Undang-undang Sultan Adam sebagai perangkat hukum peninggalan masa lalu kurang mendapatkan perhatian baik dari kalangan para ahli hukum maupun dari sejarawan, bahkan sampai sekarang ini teks peraturan itu belum pernah ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia karena sampai saat ini dokumen itu masih tertulis dalam bahasa Melayu/Banjar disertai terjemahannya dalam bahasa Belanda. Karena itu wajar apabila dokumen hukum itu tidak tersebar secara meluas dikalangan para ilmuan. Di sampimg itu dokumen hukum itu juga penting sebagai informasi bagi generasi mendatang tentang keberhasilan yang pernah dicapai oleh nenek moyang mereka dimasa lampau dalam menetapkan hukum di dalam masyarakatnya
