    Herbage Yield and Quality of Two Vegetative Parts of Indigofera at Different Times of First Regrowth Defoliation

    A field experiment using Indigofera sp. was conducted at the Farm Research Station of Faculty of Animal Science, Bogor Agricultural University, Darmaga Campus, during 2008-2009. The objectives of this study were to identify the effect of defoliation time on herbage dry-matter production, protein, fiber contents, and in vitro digestibility of different vegetative parts of Indigofera sp. Block randomized design comprising three levels of defoliation time at first regrowth after pruning (38, 68, and 88 days) with 3 replications were used in this experiment. Pruning was done 3 months after transplanted into the experimental plots. First defoliation was conducted after the plant had been pruned. Herbage was derived from different vegetative parts, i.e: leaves of branch base and all parts of shoot tips. The results revealed significant effect of defoliation time on dry matter (DM) production of both branch base and shoot tip herbages. Crude fiber (CF), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF) and in vitro organic matter digestibility (IVOMD) of branch base were influenced significantly by defoliation time, except crude protein (CP) and in vitro dry matter digestibility (IVDMD).     Abstrak Membuat lipatan daun adalah salah satu kompetensi dasar yang wajib ditempuh siswa SMK Mamba’ul Ihsan Ujungpangkah Gresik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, proses belajar mengajar dilaksanakan secara konvensional yang berpusat pada guru. Pada  kompetensi dasar membuat lipatan daun,  peserta didik merasa jenuh akibat menulis materi yang banyak dari buku pegangan guru dan masih kurang memahami cara membuat lipatan daun yang mereka praktikkan. Hal ini dikarenakan peserta didik dalam memahami cara membuat lipatan daun dengan berimajinasi atau mengandai-andai sesuai materi yang dicatat, tanpa adanya contoh praktik secara nyata untuk menambah pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi membuat lipatan daun. Dengan demikian, hasil belajar peserta didik banyak yang tidak tuntas akibat belum adanya media pembelajaran yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) mengetahui hasil analisys pengembangan media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif pada kompetensi dasar lipatan daun di SMK Mamba’ul Ihsan; 2) mengetahui hasil design pengembangan media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif pada kompetensi dasar lipatan daun di SMK Mamba’ul Ihsan; 3) mengetahui hasil development media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif pada kompetensi dasar lipatan daun di SMK Mamba’ul Ihsan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan merupakan metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu, dan menguji keefektifan produk tersebut. Sedangkan model penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery and Evaluations) yang di kembangkan oleh Dick and Carry (1996). Model ini terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu; (1) Analysis (analisis), (2) Design (Desain), (3) Development (Pengembangan), (4) Implementation (penerapan), dan (5) Evaluations (evaluasi). Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti hanya melakukan sampai pada tahap Development. Karena penelitian ini menguji keefektifan dan kelayakan pakai multimedia interaktif yang dibuat oleh peneliti. Berdasarkan analisys, design, development, dan hasil uji coba terbatas menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 40,94 % dari skor rata-rat pre-test 42,19 % menjadi 83,13 % pada saat post-test. Selanjutnya perolehan skor rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 57,81 % yang berarti terdapat kenaikan hasil belajar dalam kategori tinggi. Selanjutnya respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif mendapat nilai rata-rata 93 %. Sehingga media pembelajaran multi media interaktif ini layak ketahap implementation dan evaluation.   Kata Kunci : multimedia interaktif, hasil belajar, membuat lipatan daun.   Abstrack Make the folds of leaves is one of the basic competencies that must be taken vocational students Mamba'ul Ihsan Ujungpangkah Gresik. Based on observations, the learning process carried out in the conventional teacher-centered. On the basis of competence to make the folds of leaves, learners feel saturated due to write material that many of the teachers' handbooks and still not understand how to make the folds of leaves which they practice. This is because learners in understanding how to make the folds of leaves with imagination or if appropriate recorded material, without any real examples of practices to increase students understanding of the material to make the folds of leaves. Thus, the study of students who did not complete due to a lot of the lack of appropriate learning media. The purpose of this study was to: 1) determine the results analisys development of interactive multimedia learning media on the basis of competence leaf folds in vocational Mamba'ul Ihsan; 2) determine the results of the design development of interactive multimedia learning media on the basis of competence leaf folds in vocational Mamba'ul Ihsan; 3) determine the results of the development of interactive multimedia learning media on the basis of competence leaf folds  in vocational Mamba'ul Ihsan. The method used in this research is the method of research and development. Methods of research and development is the research methods used to produce a particular product, and test the effectiveness of the product. While the research and development of the model used is the model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery and Evaluations) that was developed by Dick and Carry (1996). This model consists of five phases, namely; (1) Analysis (analysis), (2) Design (Design), (3) Development (Development), (4) Implementation (application), and (5) Evaluations (evaluations). In this study, researchers only perform at the stage Development. Because the study was to test the effectiveness and feasibility of use of interactive multimedia created by researchers. Based analisys, design, development, and test results showed that there was an increase limited to the average score of student learning outcomes amounted to 40.94% of the score of rat pre-test 42.19% to 83.13% during the post-test , Furthermore, the acquisition of an average score of N-Gain of 57.81% which means that there is an increase in the category of higher learning outcomes. Furthermore, students' response to interactive multimedia learning media got an average of 93%. So that the multi-media interactive learning media is feasible ketahap implementation and evaluation.     This research aimed to determine the influence of Regional revenue, general allocation fund and special allocation fund on the financial performance Regency/City in the region of Southern Sumatera 2011-2013. The study population includes all Regency/City in the region of Southern Sumatera 2011-2013. The samples in this study were selected through purposive sampling method and sample consists of 29 elected Regency/City in the region of Southern Sumatera 2011-2013. This study tested the hypothesis collected by using multiple linear regression. The results found of this study are the regional income effect on financial performance.     SOME OBSERVATIONS ON FISHES AND THEIR PARASITES OF DARBANDIKHAN LAKE, KURDISTAN REGION IN NORTH IRAQ

    A total of 255 freshwater fishes, belonging to 17 species, namely: Barbus barbulus, B. grypus, Capoeta trutta, Capoeta umbla, Carasobarbus luteus, Carassius auratus, Chondrostoma regium, Cyprinion macrostomum, Cyprinus carpio, Garra rufa, Hemiculter leucisculus, Hypophthalmichthys molitrix, Luciobarbus esocinus, Squalius lepidus (Family Cyprinidae), Mystus pelusius (Bagridae), Silurus triostegus (Siluridae) and Mastacembelus mastacembelus (Mastacembelidae), were collected from Darbandikhan Lake, southeast of Sulaimani city, Kurdistan region, Iraq, from March 2012 to the end of October 2012. The fishes were examined for ectoparasites and endoparasites. The study revealed the existence of 45 species of parasites including: seven species of protozoans, 29 species of monogeneans, two species of trematodes, one species each of cestode and nematode, two species of acanthocephalans and three species of crustaceans. The present study revealed that Dactylogyrus suchengtaii and D. carassobarbi were the most parasites prevalent (100% and 90.90%, respectively) in the lake, while Scyphidia arctica was scarce (1.44%). The fish C. trutta was highly infected with parasites (nine species), followed by S. lepidus (eight species) and both C. luteus and M. mastacembelus (six species each), while G. rufa and H. molitrix were less infected (one species each). The ciliated protozoan Ichthyophthirius multifiliis was recorded on seven species of fishes with prevalence ranged between 2.89% and 23.52%, followed by the crustacean Lernaea cyprinacea which was recorded on four species of fishes (5% - 27.27%)
