Toni Morrison is a famous Afro-American woman novelist who wins a Nobel prize of Literature for the novel beloved. This study explores issues related to sexism and racism which are manifested in her life and work. The novel examined by this study are Morrison’s The Bluest Eye, The texts recreate an ideology of African-American womanhood which privileges self-definition. Morrison creates remarkable black women characters in the novel. The characters attempt to establish their own identity amidst the multilayered and interconnected oppressions of sexism and racism. Thereafter, these women managed to retain their identities throughout the novels. The research adopts to analyze the novel and reflects the varied complexities that black womanhood yields within the dominant culture and how each character either internalizes or resists the politics of race, gender and sexuality to provide readers with new insights to understand Morrison’s novel. They are not human beings but simply things to be used and this is why they are subhuman, exploited and tortured all their life. This paper is an insight to discuss the life of African-American women who are the victims of the prejudices everywhere in the society and in their own families The Bluest Eye addresses sexism and racism. This relationship exposes the African American women’s intricate situation. Morrison criticizes both the oppressing forces in her (black) culture and white racism, whereas the whites take advantage of history to justify their right to rule based on the inferiority of a race and the superiority of anothe

The expansion of networks involved higher jump on the users utilizing the networks resources, which may require extra higher bandwidth. Due to the development of technology especially those folded under the Internet of Things (IoT), the new demand of higher data rate is been witnesses among the users. In order to feed the demand of users with high data rate, broadband networks are required where high data rate can be ensured for each user. Broadband networks can be established using optical network that carries the data through wide broadband. Areas such as rural and forests sides which are witnessing plenty of natural obstacles such as mountains, trees, seas, etc. are forming big challenge for propagating a cable (wire) or optical network. Due to the limitations of the wire network, World Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) technology has been introduced as substitution for the broadband network. Such kind of alternative can be deployed through any geographical area without concerning on the wire paths. WiMAX preserved large coverage area and hence it may not suffer from the signal hand-off as in the case of another wireless network. In this project, Chordal Ring network topology is implemented to enhance the performance of wireless broadband network. With different routing protocols such as Destination Sequenced Distance Vector Protocol (DSDV) and Ad hoc On Demand Distance Vector (AODV), the network performance was examined for various Chordal Ring degree (e.g. fourth degree and fifth degree). Performance metrics such as number of transmitted packets, number of received packers, delivered packet rate (PDR), total number of drop packers (DP) and average queuing delay (been measured). Finally, the obtained results had been shown that fifth-degree Chordal Ring network is outperforming through DSDV routing protoco

Latin hypercube sampling Jaya algorithm based strategy for T-way test suite generation

T-way testing is a sampling strategy that generates a subset of test cases from a pool of possible tests. Many t-way testing strategies appear in the literature to-date ranging from general computational ones to meta-heuristic based. Owing to its performance, man the meta-heuristic based t-way strategies have gained significant attention recently (e.g. Particle Swarm Optimization, Genetic Algorithm, Ant Colony Algorithm, Harmony Search, Jaya Algorithm and Cuckoo Search). Jaya Algorithm (JA) is a new metaheuristic algorithm, has been used for solving different problems. However, losing the search's diversity is a common issue in the metaheuristic algorithm. In order to enhance JA's diversity, enhanced Jaya Algorithm strategy called Latin Hypercube Sampling Jaya Algorithm (LHS-JA) for Test Suite Generation is proposed. Latin Hypercube Sampling (LHS) is a sampling approach that can be used efficiently to improve search diversity. To evaluate the efficiency of LHS-JA, LHS-JA is compared against existing metaheuristic-based t-way strategies. Experimental results have shown promising results as LHS-JA can compete with existing t-way strategies

Scabies is an overlooked tropical illness that yet has significant worldwide effects and lasting health repercussions. The condition is caused by the mite Sarcoptes scabei var. hominis, which is a parasitic organism that dwells on the outer layer of the human skin. Scabies is prevalent in impoverished neighborhoods as a result of the high population density in locations such as nursing homes, correctional facilities, and among homeless and displaced children. Nevertheless, modern nations are also prone to scabies infestations, particularly in cases of institutional outbreaks or mini epidemics occurring after conflict or natural calamities. Scabies diagnosis can be aided by both invasive and noninvasive techniques. This paper reviews assessment diagnosis, and management of scabies in primary health care settings

A widely applicable and robust LightGBM - Artificial neural network forecasting model for short-term wind power density

Wind energy is a clean and renewable source that reduces greenhouse gas emissions. To smooth the impact of wind energy fluctuations on the power grid and power supply, much research has predicted the wind speed of wind farms to estimate power generation. However, most studies overlook the nonlinear relationship between wind speed and power generation, and data sources are usually limited to one or two wind farms. This study constructs a wind power density prediction model based on the LightGBM and artificial neural network to solve the above problems. Its data collection process does not require meteorological measurement equipment and has good universality, stability, and robustness. LightGBM is used to extract feature information and then train it using an artificial neural network, which has a high tolerance for data loss. The model performance was validated using data from six terrains from 2020 to 2022. While results showed that the average prediction error was 71.68 % less than 2 % and 82.188 % less than 6 %, with an average R2 of 0.9755 and an average correlation coefficient of 0.9875, proving the practical significance of the model that can be used to guide electricity trade

The research includes, the preparation of Polymer methyl methacrylate by free radical polymerization at a temperature of (70-80oC) and using the initiator benzoyl peroxide with a conversion rate of 10%.Then characterize the resulting polymer using infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (HNMR). The ester group in the resulting methyl metha acrylate polymer was converted to poly hydroxamic acid by neutralizing the polymer with hydroxyl amine hydro chloride in a base medium pH = 12-13 using potassium hydroxide with thermal escalation 120 hours, the resulting compound was diagnosed by infrared spectroscopy. A certain amount of nano carbon was added to the same amount of poly hydroxamic acid and mixed well. The adsorption capacity of poly(methyl metha acrylate) hydroxamic acid was determined for the ferric and ferrous ions before and after adding nano carbon to poly hydroxaic acid. The factors that affect the adsorption capacity such as time, acidity function and temperature were studied, Where the adsorption capacity increases with increasing time, and the highest adsorption capacity is at pH = 6, where the adsorption rate decreases when the acidity increases and decreases from pH equal  six, as well as the heat of adsorption was calcution at two different temperatures

Analysis of the Credit Portfolio Concentration and the Tools to Limit Its Risks: An Applied Study on the Iraqi Commercial Banks (2010-2019)

The study aims to identify the risks of banking concentration and the methods used to reduce the level of banking concentration in the credit portfolio in Iraqi commercial banks and to measure the degree of concentration using the Hirschman-Herfindal index. Concentration risk is one of the most important risks facing the bank’s management when granting loans and resulting from the concentration of the bank’s dealings with a single borrower, a particular economic sector, or certain geographic areas that are sensitive to single economic factors, which exposes the bank to significant losses. It was found that there is a general tendency of the Iraqi commercial banks to follow the policy of concentration in the credit portfolio (whether it is a sectoral concentration or a structural concentration, or a focus on the level of the five largest banks in the country) in order to achieve the greatest return regardless of the degree of risk to which the bank is exposed or may The study recommended the need to reduce the level of concentration in the credit portfolio of commercial banks and to diversify the portfolio to reduce the risk rate, in addition to encouraging competition between private commercial banks by creating appropriate conditions such as allowing government institutions to deposit with them because they have an important role in Enhancing the citizen's confidence in them and benefiting from the advanced banking services provided by private commercial banks
