The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C24H20P)2[Pt(C7H5NO2S3)2]·H2O, consists of two tetraphenylphosphonium cations, two half bis[N-(phenylsulfonyl)dithiocarbimato]platinate(II) dianions and one water molecule. The anions are completed by crystallographic inversion symmetry associated with the central PtII ion. The PtII ion is doubly S,S′-chelated by two symmetry-related phenylsulfonyldithiocarbimate ligands, forming a slightly distorted square-planar configuration. Besides the electrostatic attraction between oppositely charged ions in the crystal packing, intramolecular C—H⋯O and several intermolecular C—H⋯O, C—H⋯N and O—H⋯O hydrogen-bonding interactions between the cations, anions and water molecules are observed

    Bis(tetraphenylphosphonium) bis[N-(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)dithiocarbimato(2−)-κ2 S,S′]zincate(II)

The title salt, (C24H20P)2[Zn(C2F3NO2S3)2], consists of a complex dianion and two tetraphenylphosphonium cations. The ZnII ion displays a distorted tetrahedral coordination environment with four S atoms from two S,S′-chelated N-(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)dithiocarbimate anions. In the crystal, besides the ionic interaction of the oppositely charged ions, intermolecular C—H⋯O interactions between cations and anions are observed. One of the cations interacts with an inversion-related equivalent by π–π stacking between phenyl rings, with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.932 (4) Å

This study examines the relationship between financial behavior, financial literacy, self-efficacy, and self-coping among emerging adults. The study population is 790 respondents from 11 Credit Counselling and Debt Management (CCDM). Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) was used to analyze Pearson Correlation and Multiple regression. It was used to determine the relationships and recognize determinants of emerging adults’ financial behavior respectively. In this study, financial literacy, self-efficacy, self-coping, and financial behavior variables were entered into the regression. A total of 790 respondents aged 40 and below were selected. An independent sample t-test was administered to compare the financial behavior scores for females and males. The results reveal that there was significant difference in the mean of financial behavior scores for females (M = 87.20, SD = 18.00) and males (M = 89.70, SD = 16.80; t (765) = 2.010, p = 0.045, two-tailed). The multiple regression results indicate that the model explained 13.4% of the variance in financial behavior, which is predicted significantly by the model (F = 38.361, p = 0.000). This study will be beneficial to policymakers to improve living conditions and to promote good financial behavior, financial literacy, self-efficacy as well as self-coping especially for emerging adults in Malaysia

Towards Urban Geopolitics of Encounter: Spatial Mixing in Contested Jerusalem

The extent to which 'geographies of encounter' facilitate tolerance of diversity and difference has long been a source of debate in urban studies and human geography scholarship. However, to date this contestation has focused primarily on hyper-diverse cities in the global north-west. Adapting this debate to the volatile conditions of the nationally-contested city, this paper explores intergroup encounters between Israelis and Palestinians in Jerusalem. The paper suggests that in the context of hyper-polarisation of the nationally-contested urban space, the study of encounter should focus on macro-scale structural forces. In Jerusalem, we stress the role of ethnonationality and neoliberalism as key producers of its asymmetric and volatile yet highly resilient geography of intergroup encounters. In broader sense, as many cities worldwide experience a resurgence of ethnonationalism, illuminating the structural production of encounter may demarcate a broader function for reading contemporary urban geopolitics
