Sistema de teleoperación mediante una interfaz natural de usuario

En este proyecto, se desarrollará un sistema de teleoperación para el robot humanoide Nao, de forma que una persona utilice su cuerpo para teleoperar el robot. Para llevar a cabo este proceso, se utilizará un dispositivo llamado Kinect fabricado por Microsoft. Este dispositivo está orientado a crear lo que se conoce como una interfaz natural de usuario; es decir, una forma de comunicación entre el hombre y la máquina mucho más instintiva, en la que se no se necesitan los periféricos de entrada clásicos: teclado, ratón y joystick. Esto permite eliminar las limitaciones que tienen los dispositivos clásicos cuando intentan controlar robots complejos, ya que la información sobre el estado del robot la poseerá el operario en la propia posición de su cuerpo, que tendrá una correspondencia 1:1 con la posición del robot. El uso de la interfaz natural de usuario facilita enormemente la teleoperación del robot por parte de cualquier persona, sin necesidad de una extensa formación previa, lo que amplía el número de sectores donde se puede aplicar esta tecnología.Ingeniería Informátic

Identificación de sospechosos: mucho más que memoria

Las ruedas de identificación forman parte de un procedimiento de validación de la fiabilidad de un determinado testigo visual. Para ello se les pide a los testigos que, en una rueda de identificación compuesta por personas semejantes al sospechoso, lo identifiquen. La tarea presupone que los testigos están, en principio, libres de todo sesgo. Solo afectaría a su reconocimiento, la información previamente memorizada Nosotros nos planteamos que las elecciones de los testigos podrían estar segadas de partida en contra del sospechoso y dos de las variables que modularía tal elección serían el estereotipo y la conducta no verbal que mantenga el sospecho durante la rueda de identificación. We study Hill’s equation with general boundary conditions and white noise potential.In [3] they solve the problem with Dirichlet conditions, leaving the general case unresolved.The problem is important both from the theoretical and the applied point of view, giventhe range of applications of the subject. Following [6], we give a description of thestandard brownian motion process, and mention some of its basic properties. Surround vision : a handheld screen for accessing peripheral content around the TV

If the TV shows a forest scene, then to the sides of the TV one should be able to find the continuation of this forest, meaning more trees and perhaps a stream, a path and even some birds and squirrels. This thesis describes a novel system that situates the viewer at the center of a surround space. The system proposes that the main program be augmented with content that is specifically created for spatial continuity or other perceptual effect, and that the viewer use a hand-held navigational device with a viewing screen to access this secondary source of information, even while keeping an eye on the main screen. This navigational paradigm begs for new storytelling conventions and presents new storytelling challenges. The thesis describes a working prototype, three types of footage used to test the system in various scenarios and a user study that provides initial understandings of the effects of this system on the audience.
