We carried out a retrospective analysis of 130 case histories of patients who were treated at the Clinic of General Surgery of the Saratov State Medical University from 2010 to 2012. It shows worsening factors of treatment results in patients with purulent complications of diabetic foot syndrome.

Modern issues on the treatment of peptic ulcer bleedings

    No full text
Despite the success of therapeutic treatment of peptic ulcer and the introduction of endoscopic technologies, the problem of peptic ulcer hemorrhage remains valid. A large number of publications in foreign literature are dedicated to epidemiology and prevention of bleeding, evaluation of modern tactics and search for new methods of treatment. The works relating to organization of aid to patients with peptic ulcer bleeding are of particular interest. According to the recent data not all clinics even in economically developed countries manage to follow the recommendations of an international consensus-2010 for non-variceal bleeding treatment of upper gastrointestinal tract. Among the causes of non-compliance of international recommendations there are subjective and objective factors, the understanding of which can significantly affect the optimization of aid to patients with peptic ulcer bleeding

Monitoring of gastric secretion and early diagnostics of gastroduodenal ulcerative bleeding recurrences

The research goal is to develop a universal method of monitoring of intragastric medium dynamics. It allows diagnosing of bleeding recurrences and monitoring the effectiveness of gastric secretion suppression. In Saratov clinic of General Surgery use of probe-detector, dynamic endoscopy, laser Doppler flowmetry and methods of endoscopic hemostasis has reduced mortality: postoperative mortality has been decreased from 7,4 to 1,6%, while the general mortality — from 3,5 to 1,5%. The proposed devices can be used separately, and do not allow parallel assessment of pH of gastric juice, the microcirculation in the stomach wall and bleeding recurrences. 47 patients have been under the study. The changes in electroconductivity of intragastric medium have been proved in the suppression of intragastric secretion and the appearance of blood in gastric lumen. The received data have considered impedancemetry as the method of monitoring of intragastric medium in gastroduodenal bleeding

First Observation of CP Violation in B0->D(*)CP h0 Decays by a Combined Time-Dependent Analysis of BaBar and Belle Data

9 pages, 2 figures.International audienceWe report a measurement of the time-dependent CP asymmetry of B0->D(*)CP h0 decays, where the light neutral hadron h0 is a pi0, eta or omega meson, and the neutral D meson is reconstructed in the CP eigenstates K+ K-, K0S pi0 or K0S omega. The measurement is performed combining the final data samples collected at the Y(4S) resonance by the BaBar and Belle experiments at the asymmetric-energy B factories PEP-II at SLAC and KEKB at KEK, respectively. The data samples contain ( 471 +/- 3 ) x 10^6 BB pairs recorded by the BaBar detector and ( 772 +/- 11 ) x 10^6, BB pairs recorded by the Belle detector. We measure the CP asymmetry parameters -eta_f S = +0.66 +/- 0.10 (stat.) +/- 0.06 (syst.) and C = -0.02 +/- 0.07 (stat.) +/- 0.03 (syst.). These results correspond to the first observation of CP violation in B0->D(*)CP h0 decays. The hypothesis of no mixing-induced CP violation is excluded in these decays at the level of 5.4 standard deviations

This chapter of the report of the ``Flavour in the era of the LHC'' Workshop discusses the theoretical, phenomenological and experimental issues related to flavour phenomena in the charged lepton sector and in flavour-conserving CP-violating processes. We review the current experimental limits and the main theoretical models for the flavour structure of fundamental particles. We analyze the phenomenological consequences of the available data, setting constraints on explicit models beyond the Standard Model, presenting benchmarks for the discovery potential of forthcoming measurements both at the LHC and at low energy, and exploring options for possible future experiments.Comment: Report of Working Group 3 of the CERN Workshop ``Flavour in the era of the LHC'', Geneva, Switzerland, November 2005 -- March 200
