On amplitudes in self-dual sector of Yang-Mills theory

Self-dual perturbiner in the Yang-Mills theory is constructed by the twistor methods both in topologically trivial and topologically nontrivial cases. Maximally helicity violating amplitudes and their instanton induced analogies are briefly discussed.Comment: 9 pages, Latex, a misguided reference is corrected, ps is also available at http://wwwtheor.itep.ru/preprints/1996

Adaptive synchronization of nonlinear networks with delayed couplings under incomplete control and incomplete measurements

    Get PDF
Passification based adaptive synchronization method for decentralized control of dynamical networks proposed in (I. A. Dzhunusov and A. L. Fradkov. Adaptive Synchronization of a Network of Interconnected Nonlinear Lur'e Systems. Automation and Remote Control, 2009, Vol. 70, No. 7, pp. 1190-1205) is extended to the networks with delayed couplings. In the contrast to the existing papers the case of incomplete control and incomplete measurements is examined (both number of inputs and the number of outputs are less than the number of the state variables). Delay independent synchronization conditions are provided. The solution is based on passification in combination with using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional

Methodological Bases for Forecasting Passenger Flow on Regional Airlines

Air transport operation is a set of measures aimed at meeting the needs of air transportation. This complex includes measures to create demand for air transportation and satisfy it in order to generate profit. The successful functioning of the air traffic system in the region is largely determined by the accuracy and reliability of the forecast, which is especially important for socially significant routes. The forecast results are used at all stages of planning and operations, i.e. from the design of the air network to the formation of flight chains. This makes it possible, to plan economic indicators (such as incomes, including subsidies, and expenses, including financial payments), which directly affects the choice of tariff policy. The process of justifying all managerial decisions made both at the regional level and at the level of the airline should be based on the results of a predictive assessment of external and internal factors. Forecasting is a process that uses both past experience and current assumptions about the future to determine specific indicators in it. A set of methods is currently used to predict passenger traffic. The article analyzes the methods of forecasting passenger traffic used by various authors and proposes a methodological approach to forecasting passenger traffic on air routes in the northern territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Within the framework of the proposed approach, a method for forecasting passenger traffic has been developed, a feature of which is to take into account such important factors such as the paying capacity of consumers, the purpose of their travel, and the availability of transport services by income level. The use of the methodological approach will make it possible to determine the predicted passenger traffic in order to achieve the target indicators of transport activity with minimal budgetary costs, as well as improve the quality and efficiency of management decisions made in the field of forecasting and logistics management of transportation processes

Transparent conductive oxide TCO buffer layer effect on the resistive switching process in metal TCO TiO2 metal assemblies

The effect of transparent conductive oxide TCO buffer layer on the insulator matrix and on the resistive switching process in the metal TiO2 TCO metal assembly was studied depending on the material of TCO ITO In2O3 0.9 SnO2 0.1 or SnO2 or ZnO . First time electro physical studies and near edge x ray absorption fine structure NEXAFS studies were carried out jointly and in the same point of the sample providing the direct experimental evidence that switching process influences strongly the lowest unoccupied bands and local atomic structure of the TiO2 layers. It was established that TCO layer in metal TiO2 TCO metal assembly is an additional source of oxygen vacancies for TiO2 film. The RL RH states are achieved presumably with formation rupture of electrically conductive path of oxygen vacancies. The inserting the Al2O3 thin layer between TiO2 and TCO layers restricts to some extent processes of migration of oxygen ions and vacancies and does not permit to realize the anti clockwise bipolar resistive switching in Au TiO2 Al2O3 ITO Au assembly. The greatest value of the ratio RH RL is observed for assembly with SnO2 buffer layer that will provide to implement the maximum set of intermediate states recording analog data and increases the density of information recording in this cas

In the paper an output synchronization problem for a networks of linear dynamical agents is examined based on passification method and recent results in graph theory. The static output feedback and adaptive control are proposed and sufficient conditions for synchronization are established ensuring synchronization of agents under incomplete measurements and incomplete control. The results are extended to the networks with sector bounded nonlinearities in the agent dynamics and information delays

First experimental results obtained using the highpower free electron laser at the siberian center for photochemical research

The first lasing near the wavelength of 140 µm was achieved in April 2003 using a high-power free electron laser (FEL) constructed at the Siberian Center for Photochemical Research. In this paper we briefly describe the design of the FEL driven by an accelerator–recuperator. Characteristics of the electron beam and terahertz laser radiation, obtained in the first experiments, are also presented in the paper. Dynamics of quantum entropy maximization for finite-level systems

    No full text
The problem of constructing models for the statistical dynamics of finite-level quantum mechanical systems is considered. The maximum entropy principle formulated by E.T. Jaynes in 1957 and asserting that the entropy of any physical system increases until it attains its maximum value under constraints imposed by other physical laws is applied. In accordance with this principle, the von Neumann entropy is taken for the objective function; a dynamical equation describing the evolution of the density operator in finite-level systems is derived by using the speed gradient principle. In this case, physical constraints are the mass conservation law and the energy conservation law. The stability of the equilibrium points of the system thus obtained is investigated. By using LaSalle’s theorem, it is shown that the density function tends to a Gibbs distribution, under which the entropy attains its maximum. The method is exemplified by analyzing a finite system of identical particles distributed between cells. Results of numerical simulation are presented

New results on the application of the passification method. A survey

    No full text
Foundations for the passification method were laid out by A.L. Fradkov in 1974 in the context of the adaptive stabilization problem for the output of a linear dynamic plant. Over the past decade, the passification method has been further developed, and new applications have appeared both in the field of systems theory and in practical control problems. This survey is devoted to these new results. We give a brief review of the fundamentals of the passification method, results of its applications in problems of adaptive and robust control, synchronization, control and estimation under communication constraints. We pay special attention to the method’s application for networking systems. We also present some other applications of the passification method that do not fall into these categories
