    Filled Aluminosilicate of Dendrimer Morphology Used as Low Temperature Cofired Ceramic in LED Devices and Spacecraft Control Systems

    Sol-gel synthesis of filled aluminosilicates with macromolecules having a dendrimer morphology (Mcalc ≈ 480000) was developed. The software package Gaussian B3LYP/6-31G(d) was used to assess the possible mechanism by which nuclei of dendrimer molecules are created, with the subsequent generation of crowns of branched ensembles capable of accommodating up to 80 wt % nano-AlOOH as a filler. The data furnished by transmission electron microscopy of the samples are in agreement with the suggested mechanism of generation and growth of dendrimers. The main results were obtained on fi lledaluminosilicate samples that contain 80 wt % nano-AlOOH and exhibit a high wear resistance in tribological tests

    We show that, if the representation group RR of a slim dense near hexagon SS is non-abelian, then RR is of exponent 4 and R=2β|R|=2^{\beta}, 1+NPdim(S)β1+dimV(S)1+NPdim(S)\leq \beta\leq 1+dimV(S), where NPdim(S)NPdim(S) is the near polygon embedding dimension of SS and dimV(S)dimV(S) is the dimension of the universal representation module V(S)V(S) of SS. Further, if β=1+NPdim(S)\beta =1+NPdim(S), then RR is an extraspecial 2-group (Theorem 1.6)

    Exploring arrival directions of UHECRs with the Yakutsk array

    The data on arrival directions of ultra-high energy cosmic rays (UHECRs) detected with the Yakutsk array are analyzed. The work is induced by the recent claim of the Pierre Auger collaboration for the significant correlation found between UHECRs and positions of nearby Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) on the celestial sphere; and no correlation the HiRes collaboration stands for. Conflicting data of four giant arrays concern possible extragalactic sources of UHECRs and appeal to the profound analysis and to the future data from the Telescope Array/Northern Auger Observatory.Comment: Presented at CRIS 2008, September 15-18, Malfa, Ital

    Mid-range adiabatic wireless energy transfer via a mediator coil

    A technique for efficient mid-range wireless energy transfer between two coils via a mediator coil is proposed. By varying the coil frequencies three resonances are created: emitter-mediator (EM), mediator-receiver (MR) and emitter-receiver (ER). If the frequency sweeps are adiabatic and such that the ER resonance precedes the MR resonance, the energy flows sequentially along the chain emitter-mediator-receiver. If the MR resonance precedes the ER resonance, then the energy flows directly from the emitter to the receiver via the ER resonance; then the losses from the mediator are suppressed. This technique is robust to noise, resonant constraints and external interferences
