Marketing Studies Of Consumption Preferences At Developing Dietary Products
Results of marketing studies of consumption motivations and preferences at choosing bread for special dietary consumption are presented. It has been established, that 18 % of questioned give advantage to bread with a decreased amount of carbohydrates; 17 % of respondents consume bread without gluten; 13 % give preference to products, including nutrients; 10 % by iodine-containing bread; 7 % and 6 % of questioned give preference to bread with a content of soya and entersorbents. It has been established, that bread with a content of carotene and lecithin is not widely demanded among respondents as 3 % for each one. Studies of % of preferences by flour types in the bread composition allowed to make conclusions that 19 and 17 % of respondents give preference to corn and buckwheat flour due to a higher content of healthy substances, it is also an important advantage that these flour types don't contain cellulose complexes, present in the composition of wheat and barley flour, preferred by 14 and 11 % of questioned, respectively. It has been established by the experimental way, that 20 % of questioned persons feel a lack of bread with an increased content of protein at the market. 15, 12 and 10 % of respondents want widening the assortment of bread with an increased content of macroelements, vitamins and microelements. 13 and 10 % of questioned feel a lack at the market in such physiological-functional ingredients as polyunsaturated fatty acids and products of gluten-free flour. 8 % of respondents want to see in the retail network products with a content of dietary fiber and antioxidants. 9 % feel a lack of bread with a content of probiotics, 3 % of oligosaccharides. Based on the obtained results, there have been determined consumption advantages: a modern consumer gives preference to products with the improved content, usual organoleptic parameters, long storage term, low price. He/she is guided by the following criteria at buying bread: food value, caloric value, prophylactic properties
Massey products in symplectic manifolds
The paper is devoted to study of Massey products in symplectic manifolds.
Theory of generalized and classical Massey products and a general construction
of symplectic manifolds with nontrivial Massey products of arbitrary large
order are exposed. The construction uses the symplectic blow-up and is based on
the author results, which describe conditions under which the blow-up of a
symplectic manifold X along its submanifold Y inherits nontrivial Massey
products from X ot Y. This gives a general construction of nonformal symplectic
manifolds.Comment: LaTeX, 48 pages, 2 figure

Cross-dimensional Weighting for Aggregated Deep Convolutional Features
We propose a simple and straightforward way of creating powerful image
representations via cross-dimensional weighting and aggregation of deep
convolutional neural network layer outputs. We first present a generalized
framework that encompasses a broad family of approaches and includes
cross-dimensional pooling and weighting steps. We then propose specific
non-parametric schemes for both spatial- and channel-wise weighting that boost
the effect of highly active spatial responses and at the same time regulate
burstiness effects. We experiment on different public datasets for image search
and show that our approach outperforms the current state-of-the-art for
approaches based on pre-trained networks. We also provide an easy-to-use, open
source implementation that reproduces our results.Comment: Accepted for publications at the 4th Workshop on Web-scale Vision and

Special Moduli of Continuity and the Constant in the Jackson-Stechkin Theorem
We consider a special 2k-order modulus of continuity W 2k(f,h) of 2π-periodic continuous functions and prove an analog of the Bernstein-Nikolsky-Stechkin inequality for trigonometric polynomials in terms of W 2k. We simplify the main construction from the paper by Foucart et al. (Constr. Approx. 29(2), 157-179, 2009) and give new upper estimates of the Jackson-Stechkin constants. The inequality W2k(f,h)≤3∥f∥∞ and the Bernstein-Nikolsky-Stechkin type estimate imply the Jackson-Stechkin theorem with nearly optimal constant for approximation by periodic splines. © 2013 The Author(s)
Blended teaching and learning methods in nursing and midwifery education: A scoping review of the literature
Background: Blended learning (BL) is defined as the combination of both traditional face-to-face learning and synchronous or asynchronous e-learning approaches. The aim of this scoping review was to explore the literature to obtain a broad understanding of the use of BLin nursing and midwifery education in general, in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), and in particular Rwanda. Methods: The literature published between 2010 and 2019 were reviewed from six electronic databases using keywords including blended learning, nursing education, midwifery education, higher education, SSA, and Rwanda. Arksey and O'Malley's framework was used in this review. Results: The initial search identified 1,283 records. Eleven articles were selected for this review after the application of predetermined inclusion criteria. Almost all reviewed articles indicated that the integration of BLmethods improved the quality of nursing and midwifery education in general, and in SSAcountries including Rwanda. Conclusions: Initial research in this area highlights that moving from traditional classroom-delivered programs to the BLapproach is feasible and can promote the quality of nursing and midwifery standards of education. This scoping review highlights a paucity of research on BL in nursing and midwifery education, particularly in SSAcountries.

Using microorganisms for cleaning oil-contaminated concrete
Revealed that the distribution of spots on the surface of the concrete depends on its density and structure, and the penetration of oil into the concrete occurs through micro- and nano-pores and cracks of the further spread of spots along the pathways. It was found that the use of hydrocarbon-oxidizing microorganisms strains as Micrococcus luteus IS16, M. varians IS41, micromycetes: Aspergillus sp., Penicillium sp., Alternaria sp., thiobacteria Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans Ach1, A. ferrooxidans Ach2 promising for biological treatment of oil-contaminated concrete. Create optimal conditions for maintaining the activity of microorganisms: 55,0 ± 15,0% moisture, nutrients, temperature 38,0 ± 2,00C, trace elements, optimize the biodegradation of petroleum hydrocarbons
PlaNet - Photo Geolocation with Convolutional Neural Networks
Is it possible to build a system to determine the location where a photo was
taken using just its pixels? In general, the problem seems exceptionally
difficult: it is trivial to construct situations where no location can be
inferred. Yet images often contain informative cues such as landmarks, weather
patterns, vegetation, road markings, and architectural details, which in
combination may allow one to determine an approximate location and occasionally
an exact location. Websites such as GeoGuessr and View from your Window suggest
that humans are relatively good at integrating these cues to geolocate images,
especially en-masse. In computer vision, the photo geolocation problem is
usually approached using image retrieval methods. In contrast, we pose the
problem as one of classification by subdividing the surface of the earth into
thousands of multi-scale geographic cells, and train a deep network using
millions of geotagged images. While previous approaches only recognize
landmarks or perform approximate matching using global image descriptors, our
model is able to use and integrate multiple visible cues. We show that the
resulting model, called PlaNet, outperforms previous approaches and even
attains superhuman levels of accuracy in some cases. Moreover, we extend our
model to photo albums by combining it with a long short-term memory (LSTM)
architecture. By learning to exploit temporal coherence to geolocate uncertain
photos, we demonstrate that this model achieves a 50% performance improvement
over the single-image model
PinnerSage: Multi-Modal User Embedding Framework for Recommendations at Pinterest
Latent user representations are widely adopted in the tech industry for
powering personalized recommender systems. Most prior work infers a single high
dimensional embedding to represent a user, which is a good starting point but
falls short in delivering a full understanding of the user's interests. In this
work, we introduce PinnerSage, an end-to-end recommender system that represents
each user via multi-modal embeddings and leverages this rich representation of
users to provides high quality personalized recommendations. PinnerSage
achieves this by clustering users' actions into conceptually coherent clusters
with the help of a hierarchical clustering method (Ward) and summarizes the
clusters via representative pins (Medoids) for efficiency and interpretability.
PinnerSage is deployed in production at Pinterest and we outline the several
design decisions that makes it run seamlessly at a very large scale. We conduct
several offline and online A/B experiments to show that our method
significantly outperforms single embedding methods.Comment: 10 pages, 7 figure
