Unusual microwave response and bulk conductivity of very thin fese0.3te0.7 films as a function of temperature

Results of X-band microwave surface impedance measurements of FeSe1-xTex very thin film are reported. The effective surface resistance shows appearance of peak at T less and near Tc when plotted as function of temperature. The authors suggests that the most well-reasoned explanation can be based on the idea of the changing orientation of the microwave magnetic field at a SN phase transition near the surface of a very thin film. The magnetic penetration depth exhibits a power-law behavior of delta lambda proportional to T with an exponent n = 2.4 at low temperatures, which is noticeably higher than in the published results on FeSe1-xTexsingle crystal. However the temperature dependence of the superfluid conductivity remains very different from the behavior described by the BCS theory. Experimental results are fitted very well by a two-gap model with delta1/kTc=0.43 and delta2/kTc=1.22,thus supporting s(+-)- wave symmetry. The rapid increase of the quasiparticle scattering time is obtained from the microwave impedance measurements.Comment: 13 pages, 13 figure

Millimeter-wave study of London penetration depth temperature dependence in Ba(Fe0.926Co0.074)2As2 single crystal

In-plane surface Ka-band microwave impedance of optimally doped single crystals of the Fe-based superconductor Ba(Fe0.926Co0.074)2As2 (Tc= 22.8K) was measured. Sensitive sapphire disk quasi-optical resonator with high-Tc cuprate conducting endplates was developed specially for Fe-pnictide superconductors. It allowed finding temperature variation of London penetration depth in a form of power law, namely \Delta \lambda (T)~ Tn with n = 2.8 from low temperatures up to at least 0.6Tc consisted with radio-frequency measurements. This exponent points towards nodeless state with pairbreaking scattering, which can support one of the extended s-pairing symmetries. The dependence \lambda(T) at low temperatures is well described by one superconducting small-gap (\Delta \cong 0.75 in kTc units, where k is Boltzman coefficient) exponential dependence.Comment: 6 pages, 2 figures, to be published in Low Temperature Physics,vol.37, August 201

Polarization observables in high-energy deuteron photodisintegration within the Quark-Gluon Strings Model

Deuteron two-body photodisintegration is analysed within the framework of the Quark-Gluon Strings Model. The model describes fairly well the recent experimental data from TJNAF in the few GeV region. Angular distributions at different $\gamma$-energies are presented and the effect of a forward-backward asymmetry is discussed. ϕ\phi meson production in sNN\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 200 GeV Au+Au and pp collisions at RHIC

We present the results for the measurement of $\phi$ meson production in $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 200 GeV Au+Au and pp collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). Using the event mixing technique, spectra and yields are obtained from the $\phi\to K^{+}K^{-}$ decay channel for different centrality bins in Au+Au collisions and in pp collisions. We observe that the spectrum shape in Au+Au collisions depends weakly on the centrality and the shape of the spectrum in pp collisions is significantly different from that in Au+Au collisions. In Au+Au collisions, the extracted yield of $\phi$ meson is flat as a function of rapidity; The $$ of $\phi$, extracted from the fit function to the spectra, shows a different behavior as a function of centrality than that of $\pi^-$, $K^-$ and $\bar{p}$Comment: Proceedings for the 7th International Conference on Strangeness in Quark Matte

Clinical and statistical aspects of gastrointestinal bleeding course in patients with cardiovascular system pathology.

We have collected, processed and analyzed the results of treatment of 329 patients with gastrointestinal bleedings in which the course of the underlying disease is aggravated by the pathology of the cardiovascular system, in Communal institution "Dnipro Clinical Emergency Care Association" of Dnipro City Council» in the period for 2017. First, the frequency of background diseases was determined, chronic pathology being 93.4%. Ischemic heart disease (IHD): cardiosclerosis of various origins (post-infarction, diffuse, atherosclerotic), hypertonic disease (HD) - HD-I, HD-II, HD-III are the most common, while acute disorders of cerebral circulation, the state after coronary artery bypass surgery, renal artery bypass, arrhythmias, acute myocardial infarction made up 16 (5%), 1 (0.3%), 3 (1%), 1 (0.3%), respectively. Secondly, the quality of endoscopic hemostasis in case of ulcerative bleeding from the stomach, duodenum, gastroenteroanastomosis, was assessed by Forrest classification, connecting the results with the accompanying pathology of the cardiovascular system. We found that active bleeding F I was determined in 24 people (7.3%), of which F Ia – in 14 (4.3%), F Ib – in 10 (3%). Unstable hemostasis with a high risk of recurrent F II bleeding, was observed in 251 patients, which makes up 76.2%, and F III – in 54 (16.5%). The degree of blood loss was directly influenced by drug – anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, hypotensive drugs, as well as their combinations, aimed at correcting the rheological properties of blood. Depending on the degree of blood loss, the quality of hemostasis, the general condition of the patient, the treatment tactics for this cohort of patients was determined. 313 patients received conservative treatment, which made up 95.1%. 16 patients were operated. Postoperative mortality is 12,5%. The overall mortality of the above cohort is 10%

The local antibiotic therapy efficiency ground for the complex treatment of patients suffering from chronic generalized periodontitis

The polymorphisms of TNF-αgene in G(-308)→A in patients suffering from chronic generalized periodontitis were studied in connection with the local antibiotic therapy of periodontal tissues efficiency. The conducted course of antibiotic treatment ,that was administered with a glance for periodontal pocket microflora sensitivity to antibiotics, was established to be less effective in the patients suffering from chronic generalized periodontitis and being carriers of pathological polymorphisms «G / G» and «G / A» than in patients with chronic generalized periodontitis, carriers of the polymorphism A / A.Изучены полиморфизмы гена TNF-a при G(-308)→ A у больных хроническим генерализованным пародонтитом в ассоциации с эффективностью местной антибактериальной терапией тканей пародонта. Половой диморфизм структурно-функциональных изменений мозга в раннем постреанимационном периоде после остановки сердца

The investigation was undertaken to study early postresuscitative sexual differences in cerebral structural and functional changes 12 min after cardiac arrest in albino rats. There were great sexual differences in orientative-investigating behavior and anxiety before, as well as neurological recovering processes after clinical death, without distinctions in cardiopul-monary resuscitative processes and postresuscitative mortality. Common changes in the content of peptide substances having a molecular weight of as high as 5 kDa in the brain tissue and gender-associated features were revealed in the early postoperative period. The baseline increased behavioral activity and a rapid postresuscitative recovery of females, unlike males, are associated with the early postresuscitative development of neurodystrophic and degenerative changes in the neuronal populations of the hippocampus and cerebellum.Цель работы — изучение половых различий структурно-функциональных изменений мозга в раннем постреанимационном периоде после 12-мин остановки сердца у белых крыс. Установлены выраженные половые различия ориентировочно-исследовательского поведения и тревожности до опыта, а так же процессов восстановления неврологического статуса после клинической смерти при отсутствии отличий в процессах сердечно-легочной реанимации и постреанимационной летальности. В раннем постреанимационном периоде выявлены общие изменения содержания веществ пептидной природы с молекулярной массой до 5 кДа в ткани мозга и особенности, связанные с полом. Исходно повышенная поведенческая активность и быстрое постреанимационное восстановление самок по сравнению с самцами сопряжены с ранним развитием после оживления нейродистрофических и дегенеративных изменений нейронных популяций гиппокампа и мозжечка
