An infrared singularity in the damping rate for longitudinal gluons in hot QCD

    Get PDF
We calculate Îłl(0)\gamma_l(0), the damping rate for longitudinal on-shell gluons with zero momentum in hot QCD using the hard-thermal-loop (htl) scheme. We find it to be divergent in the infrared, which means that in this scheme Îłl(0)\gamma_l(0) is different from Îłt(0)\gamma_t(0), the corresponding damping rate for transverse gluons which is known to be finite. This result suggests that the htl scheme is infrared sensitive and thus may need to be improved upon in this sector. We discuss this issue after we present our calculation.Comment: 11 pages, RevTeX. This article has proposed to study the insecurity in the mobile money business. For data collection, the direct observation, the documentary study, the questionnaire and the interview were necessary. The mixed analysis of the data collected, conducted with 100 individuals, showed that crime is a reality despite the actions of the security forces. Also, the fear and fear felt by citizens develop a feeling of insecurity. In view of the possibilities of reducing unemployment, supporting young people in entrepreneurship that the government advocates and the financial inclusion that these services offer, it is important to fight effectively against this phenomenon

A potential infrared problem with the damping rates for gluons with soft momentum in hot QCD

We calculate the damping rate Îłl\gamma_l for longitudinal gluons with zero momentum in finite high temperature QCD and show that some of its contributing terms are infrared divergent. This is in contrast with the expectation that this damping rate is to be equal to the corresponding one Îłt\gamma_t for transverse gluons which is known to be finite. Our calculation was motivated by the fact that similar divergent terms occur when we calculated in a previous work Îłt\gamma_t to order p2 p^2, p being the momentum of the gluon. After we present our results, we briefly discuss them.Comment: 10 pages, TeX fil

The role of the village head is as a motivator and community mobilizer; Facilitators, planners, implementers, controllers, supervisors and tutors; And mediators between communities and governments. The role of Village Head to increase community participation is part of efforts to accelerate the level of community welfare development in Tanjung Medang Village. The purpose of this study is to: (1) Know the factors that cause low level of participation activities of members of Economic Enterprises Savings and Savings Village Forward; (2) Describe the Village Head's Role to Increase the Participation of Members of the Savings and Borrowed Country-Owned Economic Enterprises in Tanjung Medang Village. This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive research type, which can be interpreted as problem solving process which is investigated by describing the state of research subject based on facts that appear during the research which then continued with based on the existing theories. Data analysis is done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The subjects of this study were the Village Head, the Chairman of the Village Consultative Board (BPD), the UED-SP Mekar Maju management, the Village Assistant, the Community Leader and the UED-SP Mekar Maju Member.Based on the results of this study concluded that with the role of village head then the level of public participation in activities UED-SP Mekar Maju in Tanjung Medang Village is increasing. But the fact that the participation of the less active community is caused by several factors, namely the mindset of the community is a factor that influences the progress of UED-SP Mekar Maju, a closed or passive mindset is a factor that hampers public participation in UED-SP Mekar Maju program. Inhibiting factors in the role of village heads to the community: lack of cooperation or coordination between village and village heads, village heads who are less sociable with communities and communities who are less concerned with the environment

    Infrared Behavior of High-Temperature QCD

The damping rate \gamma_t(p) of on-shell transverse gluons with ultrasoft momentum p is calculated in the context of next-to-leading-order hard-thermal-loop-summed perturbation of high-temperature QCD. It is obtained in an expansion to second order in p. The first coefficient is recovered but that of order p^2 is found divergent in the infrared. Divergences from light-like momenta do also occur but are circumvented. Our result and method are critically discussed, particularly regarding a Ward identity obtained in the literature. When enforcing the equality between \gamma_t(0) and \gamma_l(0), a rough estimate of the magnetic mass is obtained. Carrying a similar calculation in the context of scalar quantum electrodynamics shows that the early ultrasoft-momentum expansion we make has little to do with the infrared sensitivity of the result.Comment: REVTEX4, 55 page

The study on the acute toxicity level of inorganic fertilizer (N. P. K., 20: 10: 10) to the fingerlings of Oreochromis niloticus (mean weight 0.9 ± 0.6g) was investigated using static bioassays over a period of 96hrs intervals. The 96 hours LC50 of the exposed fishes was also determined to be 0.82sg/L with lower and upper confidence limits of 0.6 and 1.15g/L respectively. However certain stressful behavioural changes like erratic swimming with inconsistent jumping, incessant gulping of air, loss of balance, were commonly observed before death, which occurs with increase in the time of exposure. Water quality determined during the investigation showed fluctuation in oxygen content and increase in Ph, Conductivity and total dissolved solute as the concentration of the fertilizer was increased. The increased stress behavioral pattern among this fish is as a result of the increased effect of the fertilizer. Keywards: Effects, fertilizer, Oreochromis Niloticus, fingerlings, water

Effects of the composition of different farming substrates on some growth parameters of Gambeya lacourtiana De Wild in seedbed in north-eastern of GabonABSTRACTObjective: Knowledge in plant resources management in tropical rainfall area is still limited because of the great biological variability existing. A program of multiplication of wild species was undertaken in the northeastern of Gabon. The simplicity of the techniques and their low costs supported the production of thousands of seedlings. Our study integrates this project with a view to evaluate the effects of the composition of three farming substrates on some growth parameters of Gambeya lacourtiana De Wild (Sapotaceae) in seedbed.Methodology and Results: This experiment in polyethylene bags took place in 2010 at Ipassa (Gabon) based on natural conditions of lightness, temperature and relative humidity. Three substrates S1 (30% sand + 70% black soil), S2 (20% black soil + 70% sawdust +10% sand) and S3 (70% wood + 30% sand) were used as culture media. After manual preparation of substrate, bags filled were placed according to a complete with twenty (20) repetitions. Results show that the substrate S1 was found to induce the best increase of planlets. The chemical composition of the S3 substrate appeared to be harmful on the growth of the plantlets. The presence of sawdust in the S2 substrate was ineffective for the germination of seeds, but this substrate gave suitable performances on the longitudinal growth of the seedlings. Conclusion and Application: Organic matter is more required for the growing of plantlets of G. lacourtiana while a substrate composed by sand and black soil is efficient for the seedlings germination.Key-words: vegetative multiplication, farming substrate, growth parameters, Gambeya lacourtiana, Gabon
