Damages to cultural heritage due to human malicious actions or to natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, tornadoes) are nowadays more and more frequent. Huge work is needed by professional restores to reproduce, as best as possible, the original artwork or architecture opera starting from the potsherds. The tool we are presenting in this paper is devised for being a digital support for this kind of work. As soon as the fragments of the opera are cataloged, a user (possibly young students, and even children, using a tablet or a smartphone as playing with a video game) can propose a partial reconstruction. The final part of the job is left to an ASP program that first computes a pre-processing task to find coherence between (sides of) fragments, and then tries to reconstruct the original object. Experiments are made here focusing on 2D reconstruction (frescoes, reliefs, etc)

Quantum Cluster Variables via Serre Polynomials

For skew-symmetric acyclic quantum cluster algebras, we express the quantum FF-polynomials and the quantum cluster monomials in terms of Serre polynomials of quiver Grassmannians of rigid modules. As byproducts, we obtain the existence of counting polynomials for these varieties and the positivity conjecture with respect to acyclic seeds. These results complete previous work by Caldero and Reineke and confirm a recent conjecture by Rupel.Comment: minor corrections, reference added, example 4.3 added, 38 page

Penilaian berdasarkan EUQOL yang berhubungan dengan mobility, self Care, usual activities, pain and discomfort, anxiety and depression. Sebagian besar penderita KPD (60-67%) mengalami beberapa masalah ringan/sedang, hanya sebagian kecil yakni berkisar 0-13% mengalami masalah besar.

Full genome sequence-based comparative study of wild-type and vaccine strains of infectious laryngotracheitis virus from Italy

Infectious laryngotracheitis (ILT) is an acute and highly contagious respiratory disease of chickens caused by an alphaherpesvirus, infectious laryngotracheitis virus (ILTV). Recently, full genome sequences of wild-type and vaccine strains have been determined worldwide, but none was from Europe. The aim of this study was to determine and analyse the complete genome sequences of five ILTV strains. Sequences were also compared to reveal the similarity of strains across time and to discriminate between wild-type and vaccine strains. Genomes of three ILTV field isolates from outbreaks occurred in Italy in 1980,2007 and 2011, and two commercial chicken embryo origin (CEO) vaccines were sequenced using the 454 Life Sciences technology. The comparison with the Serva genome showed that 35 open reading frames (ORFs) differed across the five genomes. Overall, 54 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and 27 amino acid differences in 19 ORFs and two insertions in the UL52 and ORFC genes were identified. Similarity among the field strains and between the field and the vaccine strains ranged from 99.96% to 99.99%. Phylogenetic analysis revealed a close relationship among them, as well. This study generated data on genomic variation among Italian ILTV strains revealing that, even though the genetic variability of the genome is well conserved across time and between wild-type and vaccine strains, some mutations may help in differentiating among them and maybe involved in ILTV virulence/attenuation. The results of this study can contribute to the understanding of the molecular bases of ILTV pathogenicity and provide genetic markers to differentiate between wild-type and vaccine strains

Medical personnel as the spearhead of hospital services deeply feel the change in health care system inNational Health Insurance (NHI) era that implements the system of quality control and cost control. The aimof the research was to explore the employee satisfaction of medical personnel in the era of the National HealthInsurance in Regional Public Hospital of Sinjai. The research was a descriptive qualitative study with a case studyapproacch. The informants were medical personnel as functional personnel. To obtain additional information ascomparison, the researcher also interviewed the director, the head of service and nursing unit, the head of financialsub-unit, and Sisrute officials in Regional Public Hospital of Sinjai. The data were obtained through indepthinterview, observation and documentation. The result of the research indicate the service system in the era ofNational Health Insurance is good, but its implementation has not runas it is expected. The cooperation betweenBPJS and Regional Public Hospital of Sinjai is considered slow and inconsistent and sometimes the problemsolving is not followed up. Medical personnel in Regional Public Hospital of Sinjai is satisfied with transparencyof medical service division, but the number of Ina CBGs packages are still under the standar and time of paymentof medical service is late

    Get PDF
Background Pasifika populations experience high incidence and prevalence of obesity and T2DM. However, no international review of lifestyle intervention studies amongst Pasifika communities exists. This study seeks to identify the effect and translatability of lifestyle strategies on weight amongst Pasifika populations. Methods Lifestyle studies involving ≥90% adult Pasifika participants measuring weight change were eligible for inclusion. Database searching was carried out up to December 2021. Databases searched were MEDLINE (Ovid), EMBASE (Ovid), CINAHL (EBSCOhost) and ProQuest Central. Risk of bias was assessed using RoB2 (RCTs) and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) quality assessment tool. Meta-analysis and meta-regression used a bivariate random-effects model. Strategies were coded against pre-identified components of the newly proposed Cultural and Sustainability Assessment of Intervention (CSAI) framework. Findings Twenty-three studies (n = 4258 participants) met inclusion and exclusion criteria. Thirty-two lifestyle strategies targeting weight loss (WL) and 7 targeting weight maintenance (WM) were extracted. Meta-analysis estimates small but significant effect of -0.26 standard deviations (95% CI -0.51 to -0.02), with RCTs demonstrating a non-significant effect of -0.23 standard deviations (95% CI -0.49 to 0.035). Culturally relevant strategies included community and peer support facilitators and team-based activities. The CSAI identified 14 out of 23 studies with low cultural competency and sustainability scores (<60%). Interpretation Qualitative and quantitative analysis show tailored lifestyle interventions has had an estimated small but beneficial effect on WL amongst Pasifika communities. Potential for tailored interventions design to incorporate psychosocial and behavioural considerations. The CSAI has the potential for systematically identifying cultural and sustainability components of efficacy in interventions
