The Polarised Valence Quark Distribution from semi-inclusive DIS
The semi-inclusive difference asymmetry A^{h^{+}-h^{-}} for hadrons of
opposite charge has been measured by the COMPASS experiment at CERN. The data
were collected in the years 2002-2004 using a 160 GeV polarised muon beam
scattered off a large polarised ^6LiD target and cover the range 0.006 < x <
0.7 and 1 < Q^2 < 100 (GeV/c)^2. In leading order QCD (LO) the asymmetry
A_d^{h^{+}-h^{-}} measures the valence quark polarisation and provides an
evaluation of the first moment of Delta u_v + Delta d_v which is found to be
equal to 0.40 +- 0.07 (stat.) +- 0.05 (syst.) over the measured range of x at
Q^2 = 10 (GeV/c)^2. When combined with the first moment of g_1^d previously
measured on the same data, this result favours a non-symmetric polarisation of
light quarks Delta u-bar = - Delta d-bar at a confidence level of two standard
deviations, in contrast to the often assumed symmetric scenario Delta u-bar =
Delta d-bar = Delta s-bar = Delta s.Comment: 7 pages, 3 figures, COMPASS, revised: details added, author list

ChPT tests at the NA48 and NA62 experiments at CERN
The NA48/2 Collaboration at CERN has accumulated unprecedented statistics of
rare kaon decays in the Ke4 modes: Ke4(+-) ()
and Ke4(00) () with nearly one percent
background contamination. The detailed study of form factors and branching
rates, based on these data, has been completed recently. The results brings new
inputs to low energy strong interactions description and tests of Chiral
Perturbation Theory (ChPT) and lattice QCD calculations. In particular, new
data support the ChPT prediction for a cusp in the invariant mass
spectrum at the two charged pions threshold for Ke4(00) decay. New final
results from an analysis of about 400 rare
decay candidates collected by the NA48/2 and NA62 experiments at CERN during
low intensity runs with minimum bias trigger configurations are presented. The
results include a model-independent decay rate measurement and fits to ChPT
description.Comment: XIIth International Conference on Heavy Quarks and Leptons 2014,

First observation and study of the decay
The NA48/2 experiment at CERN reports the first observation of the decay based on a sample of 2437
candidates with 15% background contamination collected in 2003--2004. The decay
branching ratio in the kinematic region of the squared dilepton mass above
~GeV is measured to be . The
extrapolation to the full kinematic space, using a specific model, is found to
be , in agreement with chiral perturbation
theory predictions.Comment: 16 pages, 9 figure
Search for the dark photon in pi(0) decays
A sample of 1.69 x 10(7) fully reconstructed pi(0) -> gamma e(+)e(-) decay candidates collected by the NA48/2 experiment at CERN in 2003-2004 is analyzed to search for the dark photon (A') production in the pi(0) -> gamma A' decay followed by the prompt A' -> e(+)e(-) decay. No signal is observed, and an exclusion region in the plane of the dark photon mass m(A') and mixing parameter epsilon(2) is established. The obtained upper limits on epsilon(2) are more stringent than the previous limits in the mass range 9 MeV/c(2) pi(+/-)A' decay is also evaluated. (C) 2015 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V
A new measurement of the K-+/- -> pi(+/-)gamma gamma decay at the NA48/2 experiment
The NA48/2 experiment at CERN collected two data samples with minimum bias trigger conditions in 2003 and 2004. A measurement of the rate and dynamic properties of the rare decay K-+/- -> pi(+/-)gamma gamma from these data sets based on 149 decay candidates with an estimated background of 15.5 +/- 0.7 events is reported. The model-independent branching ratio in the kinematic range z = (m(gamma gamma)/m(K))(2) > 0.2 is measured to be B-MI(z > 0.2) = (0.877 +/- 0.089) x 10(-6), and the branching ratio in the full kinematic range assuming a particular Chiral Perturbation Theory description to be B(K-pi gamma gamma) = (0.910 +/- 0.075) x 10(-6). Study of the K-+/- -> pi(+/-)gamma gamma decay by the NA62 experiment
A study of the dynamics of the rare decay K-+/- -> pi(+/-)gamma gamma has been performed on a sample of 232 decay candidates, with an estimated background of 17.4 +/- 1.1 events, collected by the NA62 experiment at CERN in 2007. The results are combined with those from a measurement conducted by the NA48/2 Collaboration at CERN. The combined model-independent branching ratio in the kinematic range z = (m gamma gamma/m(K))(2) > 0.2 is B-MI(z > 0.2) = (0.965 +/- 0.063) x 10(-6), and the combined branching ratio in the full kinematic range assuming a Chiral Perturbation Theory description is B(K-pi gamma gamma) = (1.003 +/- 0.056) x 10(-6). A detailed comparison of the results with the previous measurements is performed. (C) 2014 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V
Kl3 FORM FACTORS WITH NA48/2 AND NA62 STATUS
The NA48/2 experiment at CERN collected a very large sample of charged kaon decays into multiple final states. These data allow measurements related to QCD. We obtained our final measurement of the charged kaon semileptonic decays form factors based on 4.28 million Ke3 and 2.91 million Kμ3 selected decays, with the smallest uncertainty for Ke3 and a competitive result for Kμ3 and leading to the most precise combined Kl3 result coming from the kaon sector that reduces the form factor uncertainty of/Vus/. The NA62 experiment at CERN SPS is designed to measure the branching ratio of the K+ → π+νν decay with 10% precision. K → πνν is one of the theoretically cleanest meson decay where to look for indirect effects of new physics complementary to LHC searches. NA62 took data in 2015-2017; the analysis of a partial data set allows to reach the Standard Model sensitivity. The status of the experiments will be presented
Search for heavy neutrinos at the NA48/2 and NA62 experiments at CERN
The NA48/2 experiment at CERN has collected large samples of charged kaons decaying into a pion and two muons for the search of heavy nuetrinos. In addition, its successor NA62 has set new limits on the rate of charged kaon decay into a heavy neutral lepton (HNL) and a lepton, with = e, µ, using the data collected in 2007 and 2015. New limits on heavy neutrinos from kaon decays into pions, muons and positrons are presented in this report
Causality between the minimum wage and other wages
The paper analyzes the effects of the minimum wage over the other wages in Brazil using a bargaining framework. The key result is that the minimum wage precedes the market wage in the period 1980-85 while there is simultaneous determination in the period 1986-93.
