Rotor design of a Line-Start Synchronous Reluctance Machine for Industrial Applications

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o návrhu rotoru synchronních reluktančních strojů. Teoreticky je popsána geometrie rotoru synchronního reluktančního stroje respektující přirozenou cestu magnetického toku v plném rotoru. Je vytvořen parametrický model rotoru za pomocí spolupráce programů ANSYS Maxwell a Matlab. S použitím stejného softwaru jsou ověřeny parametry zkoumaného stroje. Na závěr je pozorován vliv změn geometrie rotoru na výstupních parametrech stroje.This diploma thesis deals with design of rotor of synchronous reluctance machines. There is a theoretical description of rotor geometry of synchronous reluctance machine that respects natural flow of magnetic flux inside complete rotor. The parametric model of rotor is made with usage of ANSYS Maxwell and Matlab software. Furthermore, the parameters of the machines are confirmed using the same program. Finally, changes of motor parameters are observed in connection with different rotor geometries.

Electromagnetic finite element modelling of electrical machines using open-source tools

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o elektromagnetickém výpočtu pomocí opensource programů. Je provedena simulace trojfázového synchronního stroje s permanentními magnety na rotoru v opensource programech. Výsledky simulací jsou porovnány s profesionálním systémem ANSYS Maxwell i s měřením na stroji. Všechny použité programy v této práci pracují s metodou konečných prvků.This bachelor thesis deals with electromagnetic computation by opensource softwares. The simulation of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor is made using opensource programs. Results of simulations are compared with professional software ANSYS Maxwell and with measurements on the machine. All softwares in this thesis use the finest element method for a computation.

Myší polyomavirus: Role buněčného cytoskeletu v endozomálním transportu viru a vlastnosti minoritních kapsidových proteinů

Mouse polyomavirus (MPyV) is a non-enveloped DNA tumor virus, which replicates in the host cell nucleus. MPyV enters cells by receptor-mediated endocytosis and its subsequent transport towards the nucleus requires acidic environment of endosomes and intact microtubules, which are important for virus delivery to endoplasmic reticulum (ER). In ER, capsid disassembly and uncoating of viral genome take place. The mechanism of subsequent translocation of viral genome from ER into nucleoplasm is still only poorly understood process with predicted involvement of cellular factors and viral minor capsid proteins VP2 and VP3. Once the genome appears in the nucleus, early viral antigens are produced and mediate suitable environment for replication of viral genomes. After replication of viral DNA and morphogenesis of virions, virus progeny is released from the cells during its lysis. The research presented in the first part of thesis focused on intracellular transport of MPyV and involvement of cytoskeletal networks during virus delivery to the ER. In particular, we investigated still unclear role of microtubules during virus trafficking in endosomes, and involvement of microtubular motors. Do buněk vstupuje endocytózou zprostředkovanou receptorem a jeho následný transport k jádru je závislý na kyselém prostředí endozomů a vláknech mikrotubulů, potřebných pro dopravení virionů do endoplazmatického retikula (ER). V ER dochází k disociaci virové kapsidy a rozbalení genomu viru. Mechanizmus, kterým je virový genom následně dopraven do nukleoplazmy není doposud objasněn, ale předpokládá se, že se ho kromě buněčných faktorů účastní také virové minoritní kapsidové proteiny VP2 a VP3. Po dopravení genomu do jádra dochází k produkci časných virových antigenů, které navozují vhodné prostřední pro replikaci viru. Po replikaci virové DNA a morfogenezi virionů, virové potomstvo opouští buňku během její lyze. Výzkum této disertační práce se ve své první části zaměřil na vnitrobuněčný transport MPyV a zapojení cytoskeletárních sítí během dopravy viru do ER. Zejména byl zacílen na stále nejasnou roli mikrotubulů během transportu viru v endozómech a na roli asociovaných mikrotubulárních motorů, která v případě MPyV nebyla doposud testována. Práce se zaměřuje na finanční analýzu podniku služeb, která je prováděna na konkrétní společnosti. Finanční analýza je prováděna pomocí vertikální a horizontální analýzy účetních výkazů, analýzy jednotlivých poměrových ukazatelů a predikčních modelů. Výsledky zkoumání jsou porovnávány s doporučenými hodnotami ukazatelů. Dále je proveden rozbor efektivnosti jednotlivých podnikatelských aktivit. V závěru je shrnuto hodnocení, návrhy a doporučení investic, které mohou zlepšit finanční zdraví podniku.This thesis is focused on financial analysis, performed on a specific company of services. The financial analysis is performed by vertical and horizontal financial analysis, financial ratio analysis and prediction models. The results are compared with recommended values of the particular indicators. Next is analysis of the effectiveness of individual business activities. Methods of assessing the durability of concrete against frost and chemical deicing salts in the Czech Republic and in Europe

The bachelor thesis deals with the methods of assessing the durability of concretes against frost and chemical deicing salts used in the Czech Republic and Europe. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the basic properties of concrete, the classes of environmental influence, the theory of concrete failure by cyclic freezing and thawing, methods for assessing the durability of concrete against freezing and methods for assessing the durability against water and chemical deicing salts, as well as properties affecting the repeatability and reproducibility of tests. The practical part focuses on testing the resistance of concrete to the action of freezing and chemical thawing agents using the methods according to the standards ČSN 73 1322 and ČSN 73 1326 and also on the influence of concrete surface treatment on the process and result of these tests

Playing games becomes more and more popular among young generations. Potential noxiousness of these games was discussed many times in the past but very few words were told about their role in learning process. The aim of this thesis is to map the situation in the field of games and to recognize possible utilization of video games in civic education process. First part of the thesis focuses on video games as a whole: it studies the sources of their popularity, introduces their typology and brief history. Second part considers gaming community and educational aspects of games. Author focuses on the interaction between gamers, if they can cooperate and communicate both in game and face to face. He also recognizes competences that can be supported or even taught by gameplay. Specific use of video games as a learning tool is then discussed in the third part
