Proposal for improving logistical operations inside business focused on providing internet service
ObhájenoThis bachelor's thesis deals with optimizing the movement of technicians between various members of a selected economic entity using ground transportation routes. The thesis discusses various optimization algorithms and situations in which such algorithms are used. The author obtained the data used in this thesis after being granted access to the internal system of the selected economic entity. A Java program was then created to solve the problem in this thesis, and the theoretical economic benefit of implementing such an optimization algorithm was calculated. Finally, the author proposed possible solutions to the selected economic entity
Mathematical potential of activities in the classes of physical education in elementary school
This thesis is concerned with exploration of the interdisciplinarity of school subjects, specifically the link between mathematics and physical education. The educational goals and content of these subjects, as they are taught in majority of schools, are described in the theoretical part. The subsequent chapters analyze the form of interdisciplinarity in the current educational system, with the focus on the interdisciplinary relation between mathematics and physical education. The practical part of this thesis consists of case reports of students who took part in physical education with activities focused on rhythm in mathematics. This intervention was administered in two fourth grade classes, that were compared with two different fourth grades that took part in regular physical education. The differences between these classes were investigated by examining the students' attitude towards mathematics and physical education, as well as students' mathematical knowledge, which was assessed by administering tests before and after the physical education interventions. Additionally, the thesis contains the collection of the exercises that the students took part in, and which can be used to improve rhythmical and mathematical abilities. KEYWORDS mathematics, physical education, interdisciplinary relations,..

Information resources in athletics (track and field)
The aim of my thesis is to analyze information resources in the field of light athletics, to describe its content, structure, tools and specifics. Resources for public in general and for groups involved in light athletics (athletes as well as trainers) are discussed in detail. Thesis describes short history of athletics, its development from ancient times and the analysis of the most important athletics portals
Manipulation and material flow in production of steel construction
This diploma thesis discourse about of material flow in production , following the deployment of workstations and handling equipement. It compares different methods of analysis on the basis of theoretical knowledge and processes them in calculation part. Within the problem it follows the expansion of production of a new machine and new areas.
Analysis of velocity profile measurements obtained by different methods in low-speed, small-scale wind tunnel
A low-speed small-scale wind tunnel was designed for spray investigation under cross and co-flow conditions. Precisely defined profiles of mean velocity and turbulent intensity in the wind tunnel test section are crucial parameters for any rigorous flow study. Different velocity measurement techniques were used to evaluate the velocity and turbulent intensity profiles in the test section. Two non-intrusive techniques, Phase-Doppler Anemometry and Laser-Doppler Anemometry (PDA, LDA), and two intrusive techniques, Constant Temperature Anemometry (CTA) and pitot static tubes of S and L-type were applied. The velocity was measured in 19 equidistantly spaced positions in a centrally placed horizontal plane. The data were obtained for four different mean velocities in the test section (7, 14, 21, 28 m/s). Results of different measurement techniques were mutually compared, and repeatabilities and uncertainties of PDA and CTA measurements were assessed. Turbulent velocity spectra measured by the CTA were analysed. The effect of declination of the pitot static tubes (L-type and S-type) was briefly discussed and compared with an industrial velocity probe QuadraTherm® 640i In-Line Mass Flow Meter with a measuring range of 5–300 m/s. Velocity and declination of pitot static tubes were analysed only in the central point of the test section. The results show that a fully turbulent and uniform flow is developed 15 mm upstream the test section area. Mean velocity and turbulent intensity profiles obtained by different techniques are in a good agreement. Uncertainties of type B of PDA and CTA measurement method are below 5%. Turbulent intensity in the main stream is under 5%. Advantages and drawbacks of the presented measurement techniques were discussed. The PDA was found to be the most suitable measurement technique due to its precision and non–intrusive flow probing
