Modelling of Dynamic Spatial Processes

The paper is concerned with econometric modeling of the dynamic spatial processes on the example of the GDP per capita in selected European countries. The considerations of the paper are focused on investigations of the structure of components of the spatio-temporal process. As a result of the analysis some specifications of the dynamic spatial models have been obtained. Next the issues of the estimation and verification of the models are presented. The main conclusion from the analysis is that the econometric models of the spatio-temporal processes ought to be of the dynamic character, e.g. considering the spatial and spatio-temporal trends and spatial, temporal and spatio-temporal autodependence as well.spatio-temporal trend, autocorrelation, spatial lag model, dynamic spatial model.

Stein i Heidegger - Dwie Fenomenologie

The main aim of this article is to explain Heidegger’s and Stein’s conception of phenomenology. These analyses provide a basis for an attempt to explain Stein’scritique of Heidegger’s thought. First, I present Heidegger’s phenomenology, which can be described as hermeneutic, that is to say his conception assumes an understanding of being as a fundamental category. Next, I introduce Stein’s personal phenomenology, termed as such because her explorations focus on human being. In the last part of my paper, I show how Stein considers the incompleteness of Heidegger’s analysis of Dasein,death and temporality as the main shortcomings of his thought. Stein accuses Heideggerof saying nothing about the possibility of eternity and takes into account only finite existence.My interpretation is that Stein’s appraisal, in the main, stems from her understanding of phenomenology which differs from Heidegger’s

Domesticating the nation online: banal nationalism on LGBTQ websites in Poland and Turkey

In this article I examine the intersections of queer sexualities and the nation online. In particular, I employ Billig’s concept of banal nationalism to investigate when and how the nation is flagged on the most popular LGBTQ websites in Poland and Turkey. The analysis focuses on both the mediation of nationhood through (re)producing the world as a world of nation and the mediation of particular nations through the coupling of queer symbolism with national symbolism. I conclude by proposing the concept of ‘domesticating the nation online’, which is a form of queering the nation via digital technology, though not to challenge hegemonic national discourses in a public debate but to make the nation more homely for queers themselves. Finally, I juxtapose the concept of banal nationalism with the US neo-imperial cultural logic to argue that domesticating the nation online plays an especially important role for queers beyond the USA

The author discusses Polish publications on the theoretical foundations of art therapy published in Poland in chronological order and confronts them with the world literature of Art Therapy. One of theproblems discussed in this paper is plagiarism in the Polish literature on Art Therapy, which is an obstacle on the way to Art Therapy achieving the status of science. The article covers such issues as sources of knowledge about Art Therapies, terminology, types, models and paradigms of Arts therapy.
