Chitosan elicited immune response reduces photosynthetic electron transport and ion channel activity in the guard cells of Vicia
It has been shown that a fungal elicitor chitosan (CHT) inhibits the blue light-induced stomatal opening and can trigger stomatal closure. These movements are related to the H+-ATPase activity in the guard cell (GC) plasma membrane that affects the transport of osmotically active solutes. The ATP for proton pumping is supplied mostly from mitochondrial respiration; however, a partial inhibition by DCMU implies a role of GC photosynthetic electron transport in the ATP supply. In order to investigate whether CHT affects the photosynthetic ATP production of Vicia GCs, the light-dependence of the photosynthetic electron transport rate (ETR) of individual GCs was assayed. In addition, to test the possible effect of CHT on the activity of ion channels, GC protoplasts were investigated by patch clamp technique
Családnévmutató Csánki Dezső történelmi földrajzához = Index of Family Names to Dezső Csánki's Historical Geography
A vállalt feladatot teljesĂtettem munkatársaimmal, OllĂ© ViktĂłriával Ă©s SzĂ©chenyi Magdolnával. Ă–sszeállĂtottam Csánki DezsĹ‘: Magyarország törtĂ©nelmi földrajza a Hunyadiak korában c. ötkötetes művĂ©nek (a IV. kötetet Fekete Nagy Antal Ărta) a családnĂ©vmutatĂłját, amelynek a terjedelme 575 lap. A mutatĂł tartalma. Nemcsak a 'FĹ‘bb birtokosai' fejezet családneveit vettĂĽk fel, hanem ezek valamennyi olvasatát, helyesĂrási, alaktani Ă©s lexikális változatát, a nemesi elĹ‘neveket, a nemzetsĂ©g- Ă©s ágneveket bárhol forduljanak elĹ‘: a fĹ‘bb birtokosok Ă©s a fĹ‘ispánok, a várak, városok, helysĂ©gek fejezetszerű nĂ©vcikkeiben ill. a lábjegyzetekben. FelvettĂĽk továbbá valamennyi birtokos intĂ©zmĂ©ny nevĂ©t is, hogy a családnĂ©vmutatĂł birtokos mutatĂłkĂ©nt is használhatĂł legyen. Alapjában vĂ©ve tipográfiájában is megegyezik az általam összeállĂtott ?HelynĂ©vmutatĂł Csánki DezsĹ‘ törtĂ©nelmi földrajzához? c. mű szerkezeti felĂ©pĂtĂ©sĂ©vel (AkadĂ©miai KiadĂł, 2002). A mutatĂł hasznosĂtásárĂłl KISS LAJOS akadĂ©mikus szavait idĂ©zem a HelynĂ©vmutatĂł ElĹ‘szavábĂłl: "NĂ©lkĂĽlözhetetlen a helytörtĂ©neti, nĂ©vtani, család-, gazdaság-, társadalom-, birtoklás-, egyháztörtĂ©neti kutatĂłk számára, de jĂłl hasznosĂthatják a nemzetisĂ©gi viszonyok iránt Ă©rdeklĹ‘dĹ‘k is. | I have completed the project of compiling the family name index of the five-volume-long book titled DezsĹ‘ Csánki: The Historical Geography of Hungary in the Age of the Hunyadis (the 4th volume was written by Antal Fekete Nagy) with my collegues, ViktĂłria OllĂ© and Magdolna SzĂ©chenyi. The index is 575 pages. Not only did we include the "Main occupants" chapter but all the variants of spelling, form and lexis, we also took in the noble titles with the genus and branch names appearing in the chapter-like entries of the main occupants, tenants, castles, towns, places and footnotes. We also took in all the names of the tenurial institutions so that the index of family names could be used as an index of occupants, as well. It is basically the same in tipography and stucture as the book titled ?Index of Places to DezsĹ‘ Csánki?s Historical Geography? that was compiled by me (AkadĂ©miai KiadĂł, 2002). On the usage of the index I cite Lajos Kiss academician?s words from the Introduction to the Index of Place Names: "It is essential for researchers working on local history, name studies, as well as family, economical, social, tenurial and church history, and useful for those who are interested in the national relations. [...] after more than a century the index of places and family names that Csánki promised in 1890 is completed." In these four years there was no hindrance that could have stopped the work. My former students stayed the course. We didn?t published any sub-studies
