ASEAN RE-gender roadmap: roadmap on accelerating ASEAN renewable energy deployment through gender-responsive energy policy.

The role of the energy-gender nexus in accelerating renewable energy deployment in ASEAN remains underexplored. Current gender disparities severely impede the enhancement of women's roles and opportunities in the renewable energy sector, and hinder women's contributions to the energy transition. In addition to bringing attention to gendered issues and solutions at the renewable energy (RE) policy level, ASEAN is also attempting to support the achievement of its RE targets listed in the ASEAN Plan of Action on Energy Cooperation (APAEC) Phase II: 2021-2025 and to realise an inclusive and just energy transition as agreed at the 39th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM) Joint Ministerial Statement in 2021. Hence, ASEAN is developing this regional roadmap in order to incorporate a gender-responsive approach specifically relating to RE policymakers. This roadmap aims to chart a pathway which weaves women's potential contributions into ASEAN's emerging renewables market, creating a positive snowball effect which promotes gender equity, accelerates climate mitigation efforts and bolsters RE investments

Quality Translation Enhancement Using Sequence Knowledge and Pruning in Statistical Machine Translation

Machine translation has two important parts, a learning process which followed by a translation process. Unfortunately, most of the translation process requires complex operations and in-depth knowledge of the languages in order to give a good quality translation. This study proposes a better approach, which does not require in-depth knowledge of the linguistic properties of the languages, but it produces a good quality translation. This study evaluated 28 different parameters in IRSTLM language modeling, which resulting 270 millions experiments, and proposes a sequence evaluation mechanism based on a maximum evaluation of each parameter in producing a good quality translation based on NIST and BLEU. The parallel corpus and statistical machine learning for English and Bahasa Indonesia were used in this study. The pruning process, user interface, and the personalization of translation have a very important role in implementing of this machine translation. The result is quite promising. It shows that pruning process increases of the translation process time. The particular sequence knowledge/value parameter in translation process has a better performance than the other method using in-depth linguistic knowledge approaches. All these processes, including the process of parsing from a stand-alone mode to an online mode, are also discussed in detail

Ageing is an intergenerational issue with implications for everyone. Population ageing present itself with opportunity and challenges. So, the extent to which society prepare for and invest in an ageing population will determine whether it creates an additional burden or delivers demographic dividend

The Asian 'Noodle Bowl': Is it Serious for Business

A lively debate is taking place over the impact of free trade agreements (FTAs) on East Asia's business between those who view the agreements as a harmful Asian noodle bowl - i.e., overlapping regional trade agreements - of trade deals and others who see net beneficial effects in terms of regional liberalization and a building block to multilateral liberalization. A lack of enterprise-level data has made it difficult to resolve the debate. Providing new evidence from surveys of 609 East Asian firms (in Japan, Singapore, Republic of Korea [hereafter Korea], Thailand, and Philippines), this paper seeks to address the critical question of whether the Asian noodle bowl of multiple overlapping FTAs is harmful to business activity, particularly for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The surveys suggest that the Asian noodle bowl does not seem to have severely harmed the region's business activity to date. Use of FTA preferences is higher than expected from previous studies (22% of responding firms). Furthermore, only 27% of responding firms said that multiple rules of origin significantly added to business cost. However, as more currently under negotiation FTAs take effect and the complexity of the Asian noodle bowl increases, the business impact is likely to intensify. Implementation of key policies and closer publicprivate sector cooperation can help mitigate negative effects and facilitate a more SMEinclusive business response to FTAs. Suggestions include: encouraging most favored nation (MFN) liberalization, rationalization of rules of origin, upgrading origin administration, increased awareness of FTA provisions, improving business participation in FTA consultations, and SME support

Pengambilan sampel oli sebanyak 10 ml disetiap jarak tempuh 75 km sampai jarak pengujian 1125 km membuat oli berkurang sebanyak 150 ml
