    The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the group guidance services through smart monopoly game to the develop elementary students’ creativity. This research was using treatment by subject design. The subject of the research were 40 students of 5th elementary school. Data subject derived from primer data who is the students. Using data collection instruments that is verbal creativity tests. Based on the result of hypothesis, it is known that there are development of creativity before and after treatment by group guidance services through media smart monopoly game that is t calculated = 17.460 compared with t table = 0,023 or t calculated > t table (0,000 with significance  < 0,05). The result of the research that group guidance services through media smart monopoly game is efective to develop students’  creativity

    Konseling Kelompok dengan Teknik Self-Management untuk Meningkatkan Disiplin terhadap Tata Tertib Sekolah

    The purpose of this study was to improve the students’ discipline to school rules through group-counseling with self-management technique. This study utilized pre-experiment research approach with one group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this study was 5 students who achieved low score for discipline to school rules. The data collecting technique used was questionnaire instruments on discipline to school rules which validity and reliability had been tested. The result of the study was statistically analyzed by Wilcoxon.The result of this study showed that discipline to school rules of the subject of this study was improved which was shown in the difference mean score achieved before and after the treatment was given. It was 57 for the pretest and 81 for the posttest. It was supported by the Z score from Wilcoxon test that was -2.090 with 0.039 significance. Hence it could be concluded that group-counseling with self-management technique was effective to improve the discipline to school rules of the 8th grade students of junior high school

    The purpose of this study was to (1) describe the guidance values contained on the role of Semar in shaddow puppet show, (2) describe the suitability of guidance values and the role of Semar in guiding junior high students. This research was a qualitative descriptive study. This study examined the role of Semar because Semar’s role in guiding knights in puppet was identical with guidance counselor’s role in guiding learners. The source of the data were from some informants, serat lampahan pedhalangan, and taped documents of puppet show stories. In carrying out his role of nurturing knights, Semar fulfilled the values that should be owned by the counselor in implementing guidance and counseling services. As a tutor, Semar implemented the guiding role of facilitative, constructive, and solutions. Tutor could imitate the guidance values of Semar to be applied in carrying out the role of a counselor at school

    The purpose of this research was to produce social guidance module which was feasible to implement and effective to enchance the character of fifth grade students of elementary school. This research was a research and development which produced social guidance module on moral intelligence to enchance the character of the fifth grade students of elementary school. The next was to investigate the effectiveness of the social guidance module on moral intelligence to enchane the character of the fifth grade students of elementary school by using one group pretest posttest experimental design. Based on the expert and practitioner tests, it was found that social guidance module on moral intelligence to enchance character was proven to be feasible and effective to enchance character. It was proved from the expert and practitioner research on the module which was in good category. The conclusion of this research was that the implementation of social guidance module on moral intelligence was feasible and effective to enchance the character of the fifth grade students of elementary school in Banjarsari Sub-district.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan modul bimbingan sosial yang layak untuk diimplementasikan dan efektif untuk meningkatkan budi pekerti siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang menghasilkan modul bimbingan sosial tentang kecerdasan moral untuk meningkatkan budi pekerti bagi siswa kelas V SD. Selanjutnya, untuk mengetahui efektivitas modul bimbingan sosial tentang kecerdasan moral untuk meningkatkan budi pekerti siswa SD menggunakan desain eksperimen One group pretest posttest design. Berdasarkan hasil uji ahli dan uji praktisi, dapat diketahui bahwa modul bimbingan sosial tentang kecerdasan moral untuk meningkatkan budi pekerti dinyatakan layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan budi pekerti. Hal ini terbukti dari penilaian ahli dan praktisi terhadap modul berada pada kategori baik. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah implementasi modul bimbingan sosial tentang kecerdasan moral layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan budi pekerti siswa kelas V SD di kecamatan Banjarsari.

    This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of divergent thinking training that is designed in a question and imaginative tasks, to improve the creativity of children. (2) To determine the influence of divergent thinking training is packaged in a question and imaginative tasks, can provide the atmosphere of excitement as the atmosphere of playing in children. The experiment was conducted in kindergarten Aisyiah Premulung Laweyan Surakarta in Academic Year 2009/2010. The subject of this study was student class B shares of 30 children. According to the study design or design of this study include Pre Experimental Design, also called quasi experiment, with the pattern: Pre-test and Post-test Design Group One as a data collection technique using keativitas test tech-niques to test the first hypothesis to test, while the second hypothesis using a technique observations with the instruments of observation and completed documentation form (photo). Based on statistical analysis to test the first hypothesis got result to> tt = 4.651> 2.76 (db.29), this means that the hypothesis that divergent thinking training that is designed in the questions and imaginative tasks, to improve the creativity of children TK, verified. Furthermore, to test the second hypothesis, based on the observation (teacher notes) and documentation (photos) records of activities, it can be concluded that divergent thinking pelafihan packaged in a question and imaginative tasks, proved to give the atmosphere of excitement as the atmosphere of playing in kindergarten

    Prokrastinasi Akademik sebagai Hambatan Studi Ditinjau dari Kepercayaan Diri dan Dukungan Sosial pada Mahasiswa UNS Surakarta

    Prokrastinasi akademik sebagai hambatan dalam mencapai keberhasilan studi dapat terjadi pada setiap mahasiswa. Gejala-gejala perilaku prokrastinasi adalah suka menunda untuk memulai dan menyelesaikan tugas, mempunyai perasaan takut gagal, dan merasa cemas akan kemampuannya, akhirnya tugas tidak dapat terselesaikan tepat waktu, hasil kerja tidak memenuhi standar, capaian studi banyak tertinggal dari yang lain, bahkan mahasiswa dapat terancam drop out (DO). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepercayaan diri dan dukungan sosial terhadap perilaku prokratinasi dan mengetahui hubungan negative antara kepercayaan diri dan dukungan sosial dengan prokrastinasi akademik. Populasi seluruh mahasiswa UNS semester V program S1 reguler, berusia 20-22 tahun dan aktif dalam perkuliahan. Sampel penelitian adalah tiga fakultas IPA (Fakultas Pertanian, Fakultas MIPA, dan Fakultas Kedokteran), tiga fakultas IPS (Fakultas Ekonomi, Fakultas Hukum, dan FKIP) dengan karakteristik yang sama dengan populasi seluruhnya berjumlah 582 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan Purposive Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala prokrastinasi, skala kepercayaan diri, dan skala dukungan sosial. Teknik analisis menggunakan perhitungan statistik rumus Regresi Berganda dengan bantuan SPSS 17. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara kepercayaan diri dan dukungan sosial dengan prokrastinasi akademik dengan nilai F= 80,574, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000, artinya hubungan tersebut sangat signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut ditemukan sumbangan efektif kepercayaan diri dan dukungan sosial pada prokrastinasi akademik sebesar 21,5 %. Secara parsial kepercayaan diri mempunyai peran pada prokrastinasi sebesar 17,7 % dan dukungan sosial mempunyai peran pada prokrastinasi sebesar 10,8 %

    Strategi Pengembangan Living Values Education Melalui Model Pembelajaran Nilai Toleransi Berbasis Budaya “Tepa Sarira” pada Anak Usia Sekolah Dasar (Suatu Alternatif Pendidikan Karakter)

    Pendidikan nilai-nilai hidup (Living Values Education) menjadi salah satu strategi dalam mensiasati pluralisme, liberalisme dan sekulerisme agar tidak berkembang pada egosentrisme individu maupun kelompok tertentu. Untuk mewujudkan keharmonisan, kerukunan hidup dan integrasi bangsa diperlukan adanya sikap toleran dan tenggang rasa, yaitu rasa kepedulian sosial dan memahami orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun model pembelajaran nilai toleransi berbasis budaya”tepa sarira” pada anak usia sekolah dasar, sebagai salah satu alternatif pendidikan karakter bangsa. Secara khusus bertujuan untuk : (1) menyusun bahan, strategi, dan sarana/prasarana pembelajaran nilai toleransi; (2) menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran nilai toleransi; dan (3) men-desiminasikan dan mengevaluasi implementasi model pembelajaran nilai toleransi. Pada tahun pertama sebelumnya, telah menghasilkan model pembelajaran yang berbasis pendidikan karakter, khususnya toleransi. Model tersebut dituangkan dalam bentuk Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Sehingga tahun kedua ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model dan desiminasi serta implementasi model pembelajaran. Metode pendekatan dalam penelitian lanjutan ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Pada tahap ini telah dilakukan uji coba Model Pembelajaran Nilai Toleransi di sekolah mitra penelitian, yakni SD Cemara Dua No.13 Surakarta dan SD Al Firdaus Surakarta. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 572 siswa SD, terdiri dari 206 Siswa SD Cemara Dua No.13 Surakarta dan 366 Siswa SD Al Firdaus Surakarta. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Skala Toleransi dan Kuesioner Perilaku Tolerans. Analisis data menggunakan Uji t-Paired dan Sign Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) ada perbedaan sikap dan perilaku toleransi pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar, baik pada penerapan model pembelajaran terpisah dari RPP maupun siswa program pendidikan inklusi (penerapan model pembelajaran integrasi dalam RPP), antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran toleransi; (2) peningkatan sikap dan perilaku toleransi pada penerapan model pembelajaran toleransi secara integrasi dengan RPP lebih tinggi dan signifikan dibandingkan penerapan model pembelajaran toleransi secara terpisah dari RPP
