    Berdasarkan hasil observasi pada siswa kelas 5 SDN Bendogerit 1 Kota Blitar, dapat diketahui bahwa kemampuan membaca pemahaman masih rendah. Guna mengatasi permasalahan tersebut diperlukan implementasi model pembelajaran talking stick melalui media talking card. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan implementasi model talking stick dan media talking card untuk peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan diskriptif kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas dengan rancangan siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan perubahan dan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar pada pratindakan mencapai 17% meningkat  pada siklus 1 menjadi 59%, dan pada tahapan siklus 2 meningkat menjadi sebesar 92%. Berasarkan haltersebut hendaknya guru mengunakan model pembelajaran talking stick melalui media talking card untuk meningkatkan membaca pemahaman

    Talking drums have been a unique means of information dissemination in the rural areas of Africa. The Talking drums have two varieties: Bata and Dundun. They are employed for different purposes. Bata is used by the Sango worshippers during their festival. Dundun is used for a variety of purposes, ranging from commercial, extra-mundane, cultural, proverbial and information purposes. However, dundun talking drums are employed to pitch two communities against each other. They may also be used to disguise the ‘praisee’ physical defects. If one is bald, the talking drummer has a means of saying one is not. If the praise poem of a short man is being chanted, the talking drummer has a means of saying he is tall. Therefore, talking drums, as useful as they are, have their own abuses to which they are put. The study is driven by democratic-participant media theory which posits that the grass roots should have access to the media of communication, and that the media should give priority attention to the disadvantaged in the society.     Social media provides institutions an opportunity for a new level of engagement with prospective students, alumni, donors and community members. This chapter begins with an overview of social media in higher education, who is using it and for what, then provides a few talking points to consider with others before beginning a push into social media. The remainder of the chapter includes a few examples of ways in which social media are used to engage alumni and prospective students, including utilizing Twitter as a free SMS service to provide updates to prospective students during their recruitment, creating an iPhone application for alumni weekend as both an information and engagement tool, and using live tweets from alumni during homecoming to provide an authentic look at the day’s events

    This research was conducted with the aim to see the effect of the talking stick model assisted by three-dimensional media on Indonesian language learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a quantitative research type of experiment with the One Group Pretest-Posttest design. Collecting data in this study by means of test questions. The sample of this research is class III. As an experimental class of 21 students. Data analysis in this study used the SPSS 25 application and the result was that there was an influence of the three-dimensional media-assisted talking stick model on Indonesian language learning outcomes. It can be seen from the results of the sig (2-tailed) output analysis of 0.000 <0.05, then H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted. Thus there is a significant influence of the three-dimensional media-assisted talking stick model on the learning outcomes of Indonesian in class III SD Negeri 3 Sirah Pulau Padang.     Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan kemampuan bersikap kooperatif dengan teman menggunakan kombinasi model course review horay, talking stick, dan media display papan tikar. Penelitian ini mengggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian anak kelompok B. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi kemampuan kooperatif dengan teman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kooperatif dengan teman meningkat secara bertahap hingga hampir seluruh anak mencapai kriteria berkembang sangat baik dan dengan menggunakan kombinasi model course review horay talking stick, dan media display papan tikar mampu meningkatkan kemampuan sosial emosional bersikap kooperatif dengan teman.Kata kunci: Bersikap kooperatif, course review horay, talking stick, papan tika

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya nilai mata pelajaran IPAS pada siswa kelas IV dan kurangnya variasi dalam metode dan media pembelajaran. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran talking stick berbantu media kokami terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Kauman 03 Batang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Kauman 03 Batang (25 siswa). Desain penelitian adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes siswa dari aspek kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari model pembelajaran talking stick berbantu media kokami terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Rata-rata pretest adalah 56,20 dan rata-rata posttest adalah 73. Hal ini menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar setelah penerapan metode tersebut. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar penggunaan model pembelajaran talking stick berbantu media kokami dapat diimplementasikan oleh guru untuk menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif, dan menyenangkan, sehingga dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa secara positif
