Adaptive sliding mode observers in uncertain chaotic cryptosystems with a relaxed matching condition

We study the performance of adaptive sliding mode observers in chaotic synchronization and communication in the presence of uncertainties. The proposed robust adaptive observer-based synchronization is used for cryptography based on chaotic masking modulation (CM). Uncertainties are intentionally injected into the chaotic dynamical system to achieve higher security and we use robust sliding mode observer design methods for the uncertain nonlinear dynamics. In addition, a relaxed matching condition is introduced to realize the robust observer design. Finally, a Lorenz system is employed as an illustrative example to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed cryptosyste

Robust Synchronization of Incommensurate Fractional-Order Chaotic Systems via Second-Order Sliding Mode Technique

A second-order sliding mode (SOSM) controller is proposed to synchronize a class of incommensurate fractional-order chaotic systems with model uncertainties and external disturbances. Based on the chattering free SOSM control scheme, it can be rigorously proved that the dynamics of the synchronization error is globally asymptotically stable by using the Lyapunov stability theorem. Finally, numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller design approach

Circle grid fractal plate as a turbulent generator for premixed flame: an overview

This review paper focuses to ascertain a new approach in turbulence generation on the structure of premixed flames and external combustion using a fractal grid pattern. This review paper discusses the relationship between fractal pattern and turbulence flow. Many researchers have explored the fractal pattern as a new concept of turbulence generators, but researchers rarely study fractal turbulence generators on the structure premixed flame. The turbulent flow field characteristics have been studied tand investigated in a premixed combustion application. In terms of turbulence intensity, most researchers used fractal grid that can be tailored so that they can design the characteristic needed in premixed flame. This approach makes it extremely difficult to determine the exact turbulent burning velocity on the velocity fluctuation of the flow. The decision to carry out additional research on the effect circle grid fractal plate as a turbulent generator for premixed flame should depends on the blockage ratio and fractal pattern of the grid. 1

Disturbance observer-based adaptive sliding mode synchronization control for uncertain chaotic systems

    Get PDF
The synchronization control problem of a class of chaotic systems with unknown uncertainties and outside perturbation is addressed in this article by employing an innovative adaptive sliding mode controller (SM, SMC) constructed using a disturbance observer (DO). For the synchronous error system, the external disturbances estimated by the disturbance observer cannot be measured directly. If the appropriate gain matrix is chosen, the DO can approximate the unknown external disturbances well. Then a continuous adaptive SM controller based on the DO's output is designed by using adaptive techniques and the system dimensional expansion method. The Duffing-Holmes chaotic system is finally selected to numerically test the efficiency of the suggested strategy
