Az elmúlt négy évben a világhálón hozzáférhetővé tett digitalizálási, adatbázis-építési munkálatok legfontosabb eredményének azt tartjuk, hogy lehetőség nyílt a 18-19. századi magyar művelődésszemlélet kérdéseinek újragondolására. Ezek közül hármat kell kiemelnünk: a magyar társadalom mediatizációjának, valamint az irodalmi-művészeti alrendszer elkülönülésének folyamatát, legvégül pedig az irodalmi, művészeti mezőn belül a nemi és nemzetiségi kisebbségek reprezentációját, a többségi társadalomhoz való viszony alakulásának vizsgálatát. Az adatbázis a magyar digitalizált archívumok között egyedülálló abban a tekintetben, hogy nem a befoglaló egységeket veszi alapul (kiadványt, folyóiratot), ezért gyorsan és egyszerűen bővíthető, akár új források, akár új kutatási szempontok felmerülése esetén. | We believe that the most significant advantage of digitizing texts, building databases and putting the results online in the past four years was a new possibility to rethink the problems of 18th and 19th-century Hungarian cultural history. Of these, we need to emphasize three: the process of the mediatization of Hungarian society and the isolation of the literary-artistic subsystem; and at last the representation of gender and ethnic minorities within the field of literature and art, the study of their relationship to the majority. The database is unique among Hungarian digitized archives in that it does not build on the 'containers of texts' (books, journals etc.), and, as a result, can be updated whenever new sources or research considerations surface

Bewahren und Erschließen : die deutschsprachige jüdische Presse und das Projekt Compact Memory

Jüdische Zeitschriften stellen für die Erforschung des jüdischen Kultur-erbes eine unverzichtbare Quelle dar. Vollständige Ausgaben der Periodika sind auf Grund des schlechten Erhaltungszustandes und der Zerstörungen durch Krieg und Nationalsozialismus nur noch in wenigen Bibliotheken vorhanden, so dass ihre Nutzung schwierig ist. Compact Memory bietet als Datenbank weltweit freien Online-Zugang zu den Zeit-schriften in digitalisierter Form an und stellt ein wichtiges Hilfsmittel für die Erforschung der modernen mitteleuropäisch-jüdischen Geschichte dar. 118 verschiedene Titel mit insgesamt circa 700.000 Seiten, welche die unterschiedlichsten Strömungen des Judentums repräsentieren, sind als Grafiken bzw. als Volltext zugänglich, außerdem kann in einer Suchmaske gezielt recherchiert werden. An overview of former Yugoslav philosophical journals in Serbian libraries: A retrospective

Rad predstavlja pregled filozofskih časopisa i časopisa iz drugih društvenih i humanističkih nauka, te drugih „opštekulturnih“ časopisa u kojima su objavljivani stručni filozofski prilozi. Pregled obuhvata časopise koji su izlazili u Srbiji i u bivšim jugoslovenskim republikama u periodu od pojavljivanja prvog štampanog časopisa iz oblasti filozofije – „Arhiva za filosofiju, pedagogiju i društvene nauke“ objavljenog 1898. godine pa do današnjih dana, kada se pokreću nova „elektronska“ izdanja ili se, pak, stara izdanja „prevode“ na nove medije i prezentuju putem interneta. Analizirani časopisi su objavljivani na srpskohrvatskom, srpskom, hrvatskom, slovenačkom, albanskom i mađarskom jeziku ili su višejezični, i nalazili su se ili se nalaze u fondovima biblioteka države koja je često mijenjala naziv i uređenje, od Kraljevine Srbije do Republike Srbije.The paper represents a review of philosophical magazines and other social science magazines. It also gives a review of other cultural magazines in which philosophical texts have been published. The review covers magazines published in Serbia and other former Yugoslav republics starting from 1898 - when the first philosophical magazine, Archive of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Social Sciences made its appearance - until today. Currently, old editions of these magazines have been converted into electronic form and, along with the new editions, are available on the Internet. The magazines that are analyzed in this paper were published in Serbo-Croatian, Croatian, Serbian, and Albanian, and some are even multilingual. The magazines were distributed in the libraries throughout the historically changing country (with its various names) of Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and Republic of Serbia
