Adaptive Hybrid Projective Synchronization Of Hyper-chaotic Systems

    Get PDF
In this paper, we design a procedure to investigate the hybrid projective synchronization (HPS) technique among two identical hyper-chaotic systems. An adaptive control method (ACM) is pro- posed which is based on Lyapunov stability theory (LST). The considered technique globally determines the asymptotical stability and establishes identification of parameter simultaneously via HPS approach. Additionally, numerical simulations are carried out for visualizing the effectiveness and feasibility of discussed scheme by using MATLAB

Hyperchaos and bifurcations in a driven Van der Pol–Duffing oscillator circuit

    Get PDF
We investigate the dynamics of a driven Van der Pol–Duffing oscillator circuit and show the existence of higher-dimensional chaotic orbits (or hyperchaos), transient chaos, strange-nonchaotic attractors, as well as quasiperiodic orbits born from Hopf bifurcating orbits. By computing all the Lyapunov exponent spectra, scanning a wide range of the driving frequency and driving amplitude parameter space, we explore in two-parameter space the regimes of different dynamical behaviours

An algebraic state estimation approach for the recovery of chaotically encrypted messages

In this article we use a variant of recently introduced algebraic state estimation method obtained from a fast output signal time derivatives computation process. The fast time derivatives calculations are entirely based on the consequences of using the "algebraic approach" in linear system description. Here we demonstrate, through computer simulations, the effectiveness of the proposed algebraic approach in the accurate and fast (i.e. non asymptotic) estimation of the chaotic states in some of the most popular chaotic systems. The propsed state estimation method can then be used in a coding-decoding process of a secret message transmission using the message modulated chaotic system states and the reliable transmission of the chaotic system output. Simulation examples, using Chen's chaotic system output and the Rossler system, demonstrate the importance of the proposed fast state estimation method in the accurate extraction of a chaotically encrypted message. In our simulation results, the proposed approach is shown to be quite robust with respect to (computer generated) transmission noise perturbations. We also propose a way to evade computational singularities associated with the local lack of observability of certain chaotic system outputs and still carry out the encrypting and decoding of secret messages in a reliable manner

Risk Control for Synchronizing a New Economic Model

Risk analysis in control problems is a critical but often overlooked issue in this research area. The main goal of this analysis is to assess the reliability of designed controllers and their impact on applied systems. The chaotic behavior of fractional-order economical systems has been extensively investigated in previous studies, leading to advancements in such systems. However, this chaotic behavior poses unpredictable risks to the economic system. This paper specifically investigates the reliability and risk analysis of chaotic fractional-order systems synchronization. Furthermore, we present a technique as a new mechanism to evaluate controller performance in the presence of obvious effects. Through a series of simulation studies, the reliability and risk associated with the proposed controllers are illustrated. Ultimately, we show that the suggested technique effectively reduces the risks associated with designed controllers

Medical Images Encryption Based on Adaptive-Robust Multi-Mode Synchronization of Chen Hyper-Chaotic Systems

In this paper, a novel medical image encryption method based on multi-mode synchronization of hyper-chaotic systems is presented. The synchronization of hyper-chaotic systems is of great significance in secure communication tasks such as encryption of images. Multi-mode synchronization is a novel and highly complex issue, especially if there is uncertainty and disturbance. In this work, an adaptive-robust controller is designed for multimode synchronized chaotic systems with variable and unknown parameters, despite the bounded disturbance and uncertainty with a known function in two modes. In the first case, it is a main system with some response systems, and in the second case, it is a circular synchronization. Using theorems it is proved that the two synchronization methods are equivalent. Our results show that, we are able to obtain the convergence of synchronization error and parameter estimation error to zero using Lyapunov’s method. The new laws to update time-varying parameters, estimating disturbance and uncertainty bounds are proposed such that stability of system is guaranteed. To assess the performance of the proposed synchronization method, various statistical analyzes were carried out on the encrypted medical images and standard benchmark images. The results show effective performance of the proposed synchronization technique in the medical images encryption for telemedicine application.MINECO/ FEDER under the RTI2018-098913-B100 CV20-45250 and A-TIC- 080-UGR18 project
