Arhivska obavijesna pomagala alat su kojim se uspostavlja fizička i intelektualna kontrola nad odabranim gradivom, a metode njihove izrade predmet su proučavanja od samih početaka arhivske djelatnosti. Ovaj rad na primjeru izvora za povijest Dalmacije u Arhivu Hrvatske akademije znanosti i umjetnosti predstavlja vizualizaciju kao način obogaćivanja arhivskih obavijesnih pomagala i opisuje pojedinačne korake radnog tijeka te uvjete koji trebaju biti zadovoljeni kako bi se proces uspješno proveo

Visualizing longitudinal data: rooted cosmopolitans in the low countries, 1850-1914

In this article we describe the overall structure of our Virtual Research Environment ‘TIC Collaborative’, designed for the study of nineteenth and early twentieth century international congresses and organizations related to social and cultural reform issues. The VRE consists of a digital text platform, which includes documents related to the congresses, organizations and their members, and a relational database in which we gather biographical information about people who played a role in this transnational arena. Both elements are geared towards interactive use and ‘scholarly crowdsourcing’. In order to demonstrate the potential of our VRE we present one case study in which we use longitudinal data visualisations to develop targeted research questions about congress participation and transfer of knowledge

In recent decades, historical educational research has developed into a field of research and work that is multifaceted in its topics, methods, and theoretical references and is interdisciplinary. The methods, working techniques, and tools of the digital humanities, which influence many areas of the humanities and cultural studies today, are also already being applied there in a variety of ways. This volume demonstrates this with concrete examples from current research projects and working groups related to historical education research. The contributions give examples of the application of selected digital tools and research methods and put research-practical as well as epistemological questions up for discussion.Historische Bildungsforschung hat sich in den letzten Jahrzehnten zu einem Forschungs- und Arbeitsgebiet entwickelt, das in seinen Themen, Methoden und theoretischen Bezügen vielseitig aufgestellt und interdisziplinär anschlussfähig ist.
