A Novel Method of the Generalized Interval-Valued Fuzzy Rough Approximation Operators

    Get PDF
Rough set theory is a suitable tool for dealing with the imprecision, uncertainty, incompleteness, and vagueness of knowledge. In this paper, new lower and upper approximation operators for generalized fuzzy rough sets are constructed, and their definitions are expanded to the interval-valued environment. Furthermore, the properties of this type of rough sets are analyzed. These operators are shown to be equivalent to the generalized interval fuzzy rough approximation operators introduced by Dubois, which are determined by any interval-valued fuzzy binary relation expressed in a generalized approximation space. Main properties of these operators are discussed under different interval-valued fuzzy binary relations, and the illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the main features of the proposed operators

    Neutrality and Many-Valued Logics

In this book, we consider various many-valued logics: standard, linear, hyperbolic, parabolic, non-Archimedean, p-adic, interval, neutrosophic, etc. We survey also results which show the tree different proof-theoretic frameworks for many-valued logics, e.g. frameworks of the following deductive calculi: Hilbert's style, sequent, and hypersequent. We present a general way that allows to construct systematically analytic calculi for a large family of non-Archimedean many-valued logics: hyperrational-valued, hyperreal-valued, and p-adic valued logics characterized by a special format of semantics with an appropriate rejection of Archimedes' axiom. These logics are built as different extensions of standard many-valued logics (namely, Lukasiewicz's, Goedel's, Product, and Post's logics). The informal sense of Archimedes' axiom is that anything can be measured by a ruler. Also logical multiple-validity without Archimedes' axiom consists in that the set of truth values is infinite and it is not well-founded and well-ordered. On the base of non-Archimedean valued logics, we construct non-Archimedean valued interval neutrosophic logic INL by which we can describe neutrality phenomena.Comment: 119 page

Generalized intuitionistic fuzzy laplace transform and its application in electrical circuit

    Get PDF
In this paper we describe the generalized intuitionistic fuzzy laplace transform method for solving first order generalized intutionistic fuzzy differential equation. The procedure is applied in imprecise electrical circuit theory problem. Here the initial condition of those applications is taken as Generalized Intuitionistic triangular fuzzy numbers (GITFNs).Publisher's Versio

In this paper, we extend the rough set model on two different universes in intuitionistic fuzzy approximation spaces to a single-valued neutrosophic environment

    Properties of Bipolar Fuzzy Hypergraphs

In this article, we apply the concept of bipolar fuzzy sets to hypergraphs and investigate some properties of bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs. We introduce the notion of AA- tempered bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs and present some of their properties. We also present application examples of bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs

System reliability using generalized intuitionistic fuzzy Rayleigh lifetime distribution

    Get PDF
Reliability analysis as one of the important research topics in engineering has been researched by a number of authors. Reliability in classical distributions is based on precise parameters. It is usually assumed that parameters of distributions are precise real numbers. However, in the real world, the data sometimes cannot be measured and recorded precisely. In this paper, the concept of fuzzy reliability is extended by the idea of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy reliability. We investigate the reliability characteristics of systems using Rayleigh lifetime distribution, in which the lifetime parameter is assumed to be generalized intuitionistic fuzzy number. Generalized intuitionistic fuzzy reliability, generalized intuitionistic fuzzy hazard function, generalized intuitionistic fuzzy mean time to failure and their cut sets are discussed when the systems follow generalized intuitionistic fuzzy Rayleigh lifetime distribution. In this approach, for every special cut set, reliability curve and hazard curve are like a band with upper and lower bound. A numerical example is given to illustrate the proposed approach. Further, reliability analysis of the series and parallel systems are done

Using fuzzy numbers and OWA operators in the weighted average and its application in decision making

    Get PDF
We call it the fuzzy OWAWA (FOWAWA) operator. The main advantage of this new aggregation operator is that it is able to represent the uncertain information with fuzzy numbers. Thus, we are able to give more complete information because we can consider the maximum and the minimum of the problem and the internal information between these two results. We study different properties and different particular cases of this approach. We also analyze the applicability of the new model and we develop a numerical example in a decision making problem about selection of fiscal policies

A study on spherical fuzzy ideals of semigroup

    Get PDF
In this paper, we introduce the notion of spherical fuzzy ideals of semigroup and establish the properties of it with suitable examples. Also, we introduce the concept of spherical fuzzy sub-semigroup, spherical fuzzy left(resp.right) ideal, spherical fuzzy bi-ideal, spherical fuzzy interior ideal, and homomorphism of a spherical fuzzy ideal in semigroups with suitable illustration. We show that every spherical fuzzy left(right) ideal is a spherical fuzzy bi-ideal
