The last decades the WSN technology has been adopted by more and more scientific fields for accurate and effective monitoring of climate phenomena like air pollution, destruction phenomena like landslides, etc. It has been widely used in agriculture for field monitoring. WSN is an emerging technology, which through the research in the labs and the real deployments has been proved to be a significant and valuable tool for scientists to explore another world which is behind the various environmental phenomena using tiny sensor nodes In this article, "Expert Advisory System" was developed to improve the productivity of farmers, save their time and improve the efficiency of the crops. The system monitors real-time crop fields using wireless sensor networks and provides the necessary information to farmers via the Internet. The farmer will be required to undertake the necessary remedial action on the basis of the information received. It’s also provided that the simulation of WSN in Contiki Simulator tool. Moreover, the queing model for WSN to also considered in this work

In the world of digital era, an advance development with internet of things (IoT) were initiated, where devices communicate with each other and the process are automated and controlled with the help of internet. An IoT in an agriculture framework includes various benefits in managing and monitoring the crops. In this paper, an architectural framework is developed which integrates the internet of things (IoT) with the production of crops, different measures and methods are used to monitor crops using cloud computing. The approach provides real-time analysis of data collected from sensors placed in crops and produces result to farmer which is necessary for the monitoring the crop growth which reduces the time, energy of the farmer. The data collected from the fields are stored in the cloud and processed in order to facilitate automation by integrating IoT devices. The concept presented in the paper could increase the productivity of the crops by reducing wastage of resources utilized in the agriculture fields. The results of the experimentation carried out presents the details of temperature, soil moisture, humidity and water usage for the field and performs decision making analysis with the interaction of the farmer

In the Indian marketplace, agriculture is an essential function. Cultivation is one of India's largest businesses. The various agricultural operations help ensure the country’s development. Considering the relevance of agricultural companies, this study attempts to measure the effectiveness of asset management by these companies (the top 5 as per market capitalisation). This highlights the need to understand the relationship between net profit and fixed assets. Another objective is to measure the trend in fixed assets and profitability of the top agricultural companies in India. To do this, a regression analysis and time series analysis was carried out on the dataset. The Jarque-Bera test was used to ensure normality, followed by the calculation of poolability. The study found that India's top agribusiness companies balance their fixed assets according to profitability. So if an agricultural company wants to ensure its survival, continuance, earnings, and growth, it must manage its fixed assets efficiently in tandem with the profits gained.peer-reviewe
