Background: Communication on sexuality within the family has been considered a determinant factor for the sexual behaviour of young women, contributing to delaying sexual initiation. Taking into account that young women are increasingly exposed to sexualized messages, they need clear, trustful and open communication on sexuality more than ever. However, in Mozambique, communication about sexuality is hampered by strict social norms. This paper evaluates the case of an intervention aimed at reducing the generational barrier for talking about sexuality and to contribute to better communication within the family context. Methods: The intervention consisted of three weekly one-hour coached sessions in which female adults and young interacted about sexuality. Realist evaluation was used as a framework to assess context, mechanisms, and outcomes of the intervention. Interviews were conducted among 13 participants of the sessions. Result: The interaction sessions were positively appreciated by the participants and contributed to change norms and attitudes towards communication on sexuality within families. Recognition of similarities and awareness of differences were key in the mechanisms leading to these outcomes. This was reinforced by the use of visual materials and the atmosphere of respect and freedom of speech that characterized the interactions. Limiting factors were related to the long-standing taboo on sexuality and existing misconceptions on sexuality education and talks about sex. Conclusion: By elucidating mechanisms and contextual factors our study adds knowledge on strategies to improve transgenerational communication about sexuality

The increases checked in the processing capacity and in the power of communication of the nets they allow to propose didactic systems with the integration of new technologies to the education, such as audio and video. Today, it can observe an expressive increase of digital information published through the Internet. This research emphasizes the use of the computer and of the Internet as parts of the teaching atmosphere at the distance. The implemented system allows to establish (i) measures of control of use of the available didactic material in the Internet, as well as the application of (ii) evaluation techniques for, finally, (iii) to specify concrete approaches to compose the evaluation process of the learning at the distance. For so much, it was projected and implemented a software for this atmosphere type with the objective of checking that the ideas proposals are viable. A direct consequence of the use of this atmosphere type is the need of a larger training so much of teachers as of students, for demanding a change of the habitual teaching-learning process, such as (i) the operation of the atmosphere of computerized teaching, (ii) the softwares involved for sailing and responsibility, (iii) notions of nets of computers and (iv) the introduction of evaluation approaches in the system.Eje: Tecnología informática aplicada en la EducaciónRed de Universidades con Carreras en Informática (RedUNCI

Effective communication in organization is important to regulate the role of organization, coordination, controlling and evaluation from leader to staff and staff to leader, and miscommunication in information can lead to wrong-decision making and ineffective. This research is aimed to explain the importance of communication and its effect in organization by using the methodology of a simple linear regression. Two-way communication model (vertical and horizontal) proved to be effective within this organization based on the findings in this study. This model helped in reaching effective organization like well-established organization atmosphere, excellent employee performance and job finishing punctuality. The importance of communication in the organization is undisputable consequence. Organizational communication allows the company to obtain a valuable result which is unachievable by any standalone individuals. It is then understood that without cooperation from individuals in the organization, the organizational goal is not achievable. The weakness of this study appeared in the government sector due to the small scope held only in Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan office

Technology helps a lot on the education field. By implementing technology, it would influence on the atmosphere either on students' motivation or on language itself. Oral communication is an essential skill which could help students' life in the future. The most students’ problem in studying English is expressing ideas. Some experts said that storytelling can be used to improve students' learning to express oral communication. Connecting with this idea, the researches decided the purpose of the study by improving the students’ speaking ability with producing a storytelling created in the form of a video component. The researchers used an Action Research, The students were required to create a cartoon story, voiceover narration, and background music that produced in a video presentation.  The object of the research was 30 students of the Accounting Department of 2 nd Semester 2023. The result of the study was significantly improved which could be seen from the mean of the first project which amounted as big as 77,33, while on the second project, the amount was 83,16. Get PDF
Children with chronic illnesses are often exposed to many medical facilities and providers who must speak to them about their illness. Due to the sensitivity of the topic and the emotional strain, the communication can be weaker or strained from the physicians. The aim of this research was to determine how parents are the main information source and how these parents and other clinicians perceive the communication of the information provider as weak. The participants included three parents and two clinicians who underwent an interview and filled out a questionnaire about communication independently in connection with a child’s illness (their own or those they have interacted with). Findings revealed that parents were the main source of information for children about their illness, not the physician, due to the age of their child, the scary atmosphere of doctor’s offices, and trust in the parents. Additionally, all participants reported negative experiences with doctor communication, such as confusing medical jargon, not listening to concerns, lack of decorum and not trusting the patients, which suggests that doctors need more communication training. Finally, the interviews revealed high personal evaluation of the participant’s communication skills but agreement with poor communication tactics in the questionnaire. Further research includes interviewing more people, including physicians and other members of the medical community to get a holistic view of the opinions of the public
