A SCOR modell, a teljesÃtmÃĐny ÃĐs a raktÃĄrak kÃķzÃķtti kapcsolat vizsgÃĄlata
Business leaders can use several strategic tools to improve the organization, depending on what they consider to be important. The Supply Chain Operational Reference Model (SCOR) is one of these. Its importance is to link business processes, performance metrics, best practices, and technology together and to create a unified structure. It promotes communication between the stakeholders of the supply chain and improves supply chain management and the efficiency of the related supply chain improvement activities. The aim of this study is to find out how the SCOR model appears in the international literature related to warehousing and performance. What methods and tools do authors use to investigate their research questions and hypotheses? Description statistics and category selection were used to present the results of the study. The number of SCOR model researches related to warehouse performance measurments are very rare, it is rather used to describe different processes. Government support programmes, business opportunity, and competitive advantage in the halal cosmetic and personal care industry
The Halal Industry Master Plan 2008-2020 reflects the commitment and effort of the Malaysian government to encourage private business enterprises in the halal cosmetic and personal care industry to be more competitive. The private business enterprises are deemed to lack the competitive advantage to compete with
international non-certificate halal cosmetic and personal care products. This empirical study was conducted to examine the relationship between government support programmes (contractual programmes and relational programmes) and the competitive advantage of private business enterprises and to measure the mediating effect of business opportunity on the relationship between government support programmes (contractual programmes and relational programmes) and the competitive advantage of private business enterprises in the halal cosmetic and
personal care industry. The field work involved 84 respondents consisted of top management in private business enterprises that produce and supply cosmetic and personal care products. There are four hypotheses tested using PLS in this study. This study found mixed findings between government support programmes
(contractual programmes and relational programmes) as independent variables and the competitive advantage of private business enterprises as a dependent variable. It is shown that there is a significant positive relationship between contractual programmes and competitive advantage of private business enterprises. The result also showed that there is a negative relationship between relational programmes and competitive advantage of private business enterprises. When business opportunity was included as a mediating variable to test the relationship between contractual programmes and relational programmes and the competitive advantage of private business enterprises, surprisingly, the relationship between contractual programmes and competitive advantage of private business enterprises was not significant. Meanwhile, the relationship between relational programmes and competitive advantage of private business enterprises became positive when business opportunity was added to the model. This study is only focused on the halal cosmetic and personal care industry in Malaysia and it is suggested that future studies may include comparative studies with other halal sectors and focus to see the performance of the halal products in the market segment in other regions in terms of government support programmes
Eine Analyse der Literatur zur Referenzmodellierung im GeschÃĪftsprozessmanagement unter BerÞcksichtigung quantitativer Methoden
Im GeschÃĪftsprozessmanagement nimmt die Referenzmodellierung bei der Gestaltung von GeschÃĪftsprozessen eine groÃe Bedeutung ein, da auf bereits existierende Modelle zurÞckgegriffen werden kann. So kann Zeit fÞr die Entwicklung der Prozesse eingespart und von bereits etabliertem Wissen profitiert werden. Die vorliegende Masterarbeit analysiert die Literatur im Bereich der Referenzmodellierung im GeschÃĪftsprozessmanagement unter BerÞcksichtigung quantitativer Methoden. Es werden insbesondere die Forschungsrichtungen bzw. Themenbereiche, Entwicklungen und der aktuelle Stand der Literatur in diesem Bereich ermittelt. ZunÃĪchst werden deutsch- und englischsprachige Artikel nach bestimmten Kriterien ausgewÃĪhlt. AnschlieÃend folgt eine quantitativ orientierte Analyse der Literatur. Dabei kommt die Latente Semantische Analyse zum Einsatz, mit deren Hilfe Themenbereiche ermittelt werden und die einzelnen BeitrÃĪge den ermittelten Themenbereichen zugeordnet werden kÃķnnen. DarÞber hinaus wird die Entwicklung der Anzahl der Artikel in den Themenbereichen im Zeitverlauf betrachtet und auf Unterschiede zwischen der deutsch- und englischsprachigen Literatur eingegangen. In der darauf folgenden qualitativ orientierten Analyse werden die Artikel der einzelnen Themenbereiche inhaltlich analysiert und der aktuelle Stand der Forschung dargestellt. Nicht zuletzt werden die Ergebnisse der qualitativen Analyse in Bezug zu den Ergebnissen der quantitativen Analyse gesetzt
Multi-objective optimisation of dynamic short-term credit portfolio selection :the adoption of third party logistics credit for financing working capital contrained small and medium sized enterprises in supply chains
PhD ThesisMany companies, especially small and medium sized enterprises, are faced with liquidity
problems. The shortage of working capital in their businesses has prevented supply chains from
achieving effectiveness and efficiency in management. Although they can access short-term
loans from banks and suppliers, the willingness of these credit lenders to lend short-term capital
is often restricted by the fact that they cannot monitor whether or how their customers will use
the loans according to the agreements. In many cases, this fact makes it difficult for capitalconstrained companies to obtain sufficient working capital from existing funding sources.
A business practice called Integrated Logistics and Financial Service has been developed,
which can improve banksâ monitoring of how their loans will eventually be used via the alliance
of third party logistics companies and banks. The emergence of credit offered by third party
logistics companies (termed as 3PLC) provides more choices for working capital constrained
companies. Following on traditional bank overdrafts and trade credit, the new 3PLC became
the third type of credit available to short-term working capital constrained companies. A new
issue arising from this situation is how a working capital constrained company can determine a
credit portfolio from multiple working capital sources. Current studies of credit portfolio
management are still silent in considering 3PLC. Moreover, limited studies have integrated
credit portfolio management into material flow management in supply chains. In light of the
aforementioned discussions, this thesis aims to optimise dynamic credit portfolio management
in supply chains to achieve the different business objectives of working capital constrained
companies.
To achieve the above aims, this thesis firstly applies an analytic hierarchy process and linear
programming model to optimise a single objective. It applies the analytic hierarchy process to
evaluate the concerns of working capital-constrained companies in selecting credit. These
concerns are identified through a thorough literature review focusing on the considerations of
small and medium sized enterprisesâ in borrowing short-term credit. The analytic hierarchy
process has been applied to determine the priority of the identified concerns and the preferences
of borrowers for bank overdrafts, trade credit and 3PLC. A linear programming model has been
developed based on the results obtained from the analytic hierarchy process model. It
determines the maximum borrowing amount for a given period from multiple credit sources.
To reflect the complexity of working capital constrained companies borrowing credit, thisthesis
has extended the model from single objective optimisation to multiple objectives optimisation.
Consequently, a goal-programming model has been developed. This model provides the
solution of optimizing two business objectives including overall cost and backorder penalty
cost minimization. Numerical examples have been conducted to test and analyse all the
mathematical models.
This thesis contributes the following aspects: 1) the new 3PLC together with bank overdraft
and trade credit have been considered into credit portfolio management; 2) borrowerâs concerns
and credit preferences relating to the three types of credit have been identified and evaluated;
3) mathematical models have been developed for credit portfolio selection over multiple periods
Performance Indicators Logistics To Be Used In The Governance Of Logistics Platforms [indicadores De Desempenho LogÃstico Utlizados Na Governança De Plataformas LogÃsticas]
Where as governance is composed of procedures associated with decision making, control and performance of organizations this research was to identify a set of performance indicators related to the management of logistics and supply chain logistics service that also can be applied to governance of logistics platforms. Logistics platforms can be considered complex logistical arrangements which develops various logistics activities and also with the participation of different actors. The research approach used was qualitative. As a result of this research, we identified a set of 6 dimensions of performance, consisting of 90 performance indicators related to logistics and supply chain logistics service also able to testify to the governance of logistics platforms. It was found through this research that the aspects related to customer service and financial elements also showed greater representation in relation to the total set of performance indicators checked.
