AbstractWe consider the (Ihara) zeta functions of line graphs, middle graphs and total graphs of a regular graph and their (regular or irregular) covering graphs. Let L(G), M(G) and T(G) denote the line, middle and total graph of G, respectively. We show that the line, middle and total graph of a (regular and irregular, respectively) covering of a graph G is a (regular and irregular, respectively) covering of L(G), M(G) and T(G), respectively. For a regular graph G, we express the zeta functions of the line, middle and total graph of any (regular or irregular) covering of G in terms of the characteristic polynomial of the covering. Also, the complexities of the line, middle and total graph of any (regular or irregular) covering of G are computed. Furthermore, we discuss the L-functions of the line, middle and total graph of a regular graph G

Families of nested completely regular codes and distance-regular graphs

In this paper infinite families of linear binary nested completely regular codes are constructed. They have covering radius ρ\rho equal to 33 or 44, and are 1/2i1/2^i-th parts, for i{1,,u}i\in\{1,\ldots,u\} of binary (respectively, extended binary) Hamming codes of length n=2m1n=2^m-1 (respectively, 2m2^m), where m=2um=2u. In the usual way, i.e., as coset graphs, infinite families of embedded distance-regular coset graphs of diameter DD equal to 33 or 44 are constructed. In some cases, the constructed codes are also completely transitive codes and the corresponding coset graphs are distance-transitive

In this paper, locally 3-arc-transitive regular covers of complete bipartite graphs are studied, and results are obtained that apply to arbitrary covering transformation groups. In particular, methods are obtained for classifying the locally 3-arc transitive graphs with a prescribed covering transformation group, and these results are applied to classify the locally 3-arc-transitive regular covers of complete bipartite graphs with covering transformation group isomorphic to a cyclic group or an elementary abelian group of order p(2)
