On Common Fixed Point Theorem in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Metric Spaces with Rational Inequality

: In this paper, we use the concepts of subcompatibility and subsequential continuity in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Metric Spaces which are respectively weaker than occasionally weak compatibility and reciprocal continuity. With them, we establish a common fixed point theorem for four mapstaking rational inequality. In this paper we prove a common fixed point theorem for a pair of weakly compatible self-mappings in fuzzy metric space by using (CLRg) property. The result is extended for two finite families of self-mappings infuzzy metric space by using the concept of pairwise commuting. An example is provided which demonstrates the validity of main theorem

COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR HYBRID PAIRS OF MAPPINGS USING IMPLICIT RELATIONS IN FUZZY METRIC SPACE

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the notion of a new type of common limit range property for a hybrid pair of single and multivalued mappings in fuzzy metric space and establish some common fixed point theorems satisfying the same property using implicit relations. Some related results are also derived besides furnishing illustrative examples. Further, we also present an integral type common fixed pointtheorem in fuzzy metric space. Our results improve and extend some previously known results

Unified Fixed Point Theorems via Common Limit Range Property in Modified Intuitionistic Fuzzy Metric Spaces

    Get PDF
The purpose of this paper is to emphasize the role of “common limit range property” to ascertain the existence of common fixed points in modified intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces enjoying an implicit function utilized in Tanveer et al. (2012) and Imdad et al. (2012). As an application to our main result, we derive a fixed point theorem for finite families of self-mappings. We also give some examples which demonstrate the validity of the hypotheses and degree of generality of our main results. Our results improve and extend several previously known fixed point theorems of the existing literature

Variants of Meir-Keeler Fixed Point Theorem And Applications of Soft Set-Valued Maps

    Get PDF
In this paper, we prove a Meir-Keeler type common fixed point theorem for two mappings for which the range set of the first one is a family of soft sets, called soft set-valued map and the second is a point-to-point mapping. In addition, it is also shown that under some suitable conditions, a soft set-valued map admits a selection having a unique fixed point. In support of the obtained result, nontrivial examples are provided. The novelty of the presented idea herein is that it extends the Meir-Keeler fixed point theorem and the theory of selections for multivalued mappings from the case of crisp mappings to the frame of soft set-valued maps. Finally, an application of soft setvalued maps in decision making problems is considered

Common Fixed Points of Weakly Reciprocally Continuous Maps using a Gauge Function

    Get PDF
The aim of the present paper is to obtain a common fixed point theorem by employing the recently introduced notion of weak reciprocal continuity. We demonstrate that weak reciprocal continuity ensures the existence of fixed points under contractive conditions which otherwise do not ensure the existence of fixed points. Our result generalize and extend several well-known fixed point theorems due to Boyd and Wong (1969), Jungck(1976), Pant (1994) and Pathak et al (1997). Keywords: Fixed point theorems, compatible maps, A-compatible maps, T-compatible maps, reciprocal continuity, weak reciprocal continuit

The aim of this paper is to prove a common fixed point theorem for a pair of weakly compatible mappings in fuzzy metric space by using the (CLRg) property. An example is also furnished which demonstrates the validity of our main result. As an application to our main result, we present a fixed point theorem for two finite families of self mappings in fuzzy metric space by using the notion of pairwise commuting. Our results improve the results of Sedghi, Shobe and Aliouche [A common fixed point theorem for weakly compatible mappings in fuzzy metric spaces, Gen. Math. 18(3) (2010), 3-12 MR2735558]
