    Spam is commonly defined as unsolicited email messages, and the goal of spam categorization is to distinguish between spam and legitimate email messages. Our main aim is classification of spam mail and solving various problem is related to web space. So we discuss the measuring parameter which are helpful for reduce the spam or junk mail. In this paper, we describe procedure that  can help eliminate unsolicited commercial e-mail, viruses, Trojans, and worms, as well as frauds perpetrated electronically and other undesired and troublesome e-mail.so this research is helpful for best classification and categorization method of email spam detection.     Detecting spam relays by SMTP traffic characteristics using an autonomous detection system

    Spam emails are flooding the Internet. Research to prevent spam is an ongoing concern. SMTP traffic was collected from different sources in real networks and analyzed to determine the difference regarding SMTP traffic characteristics of legitimate email clients, legitimate email servers and spam relays. It is found that SMTP traffic from legitimate sites and non-legitimate sites are different and could be distinguished from each other. Some methods, which are based on analyzing SMTP traffic characteristics, were purposed to identify spam relays in the network in this thesis. An autonomous combination system, in which machine learning technologies were employed, was developed to identify spam relays in this thesis. This system identifies spam relays in real time before spam emails get to an end user by using SMTP traffic characteristics never involving email real content. A series of tests were conducted to evaluate the performance of this system. And results show that the system can identify spam relays with a high spam relay detection rate and an acceptable ratio of false positive errors

    Investigation into the Application of Personality Insights and Language Tone Analysis in Spam Classification

    Due to its persistence spam remains as one of the biggest problems facing users and suppliers of email communication services. Machine learning techniques have been very successful at preventing many spam mails from arriving in user mailboxes, however they still account for over 50% of all emails sent. Despite this relative success the economic cost of spam has been estimated as high as 50billionin2005andmorerecentlyat50 billion in 2005 and more recently at 20 billion so spam can still be considered a considerable problem. In essence a spam email is a commercial communication trying to entice the receiver to take some positive action. This project uses the text from emails and creates personality insight and language tone scores through the use of IBM Watsons’ Tone Analyzer API. Those scores are used to investigate whether the language used in emails can be transformed into useful features that can be used to correctly classify them as spam or genuine emails. And during the course of this investigation a range of machine learning techniques are applied. Results from this experiment found that where just the personality insight and language tone features are used in the model some promising results with one dataset were shown. However over all datasets results were inconclusive with this model. Furthermore it was found that in a model where these features were used in combination with a normalised term-frequency feature-set no real improvement in the classification performance was shown

    This Special Issue will focus on assistive technology (AT) to address biomechanical and control of movement issues in individuals with impaired health, whether as a result of disability, disease, or injury. All over the world, technologies are developed that make human life richer and more comfortable. However, there are people who are not able to benefit from these technologies. Research can include development of new assistive technology to promote more effective movement, the use of existing technology to assess and treat movement disorders, the use and effectiveness of virtual rehabilitation, or theoretical issues, such as modeling, which underlie the biomechanics or motor control of movement disorders. This Special Issue will also cover Internet of Things (IoT) sensing technology and nursing care robot applications that can be applied to new assistive technologies. IoT includes data, more specifically gathering them efficiently and using them to enable intelligence, control, and new applications
