Aplikasi Quick Count Pada Pemilu Legislatif Dengan Metode Sainte Lague Berbasis Mobile
Pemilu merupakan pesta demokrasi di suatu kota yang diadakan setiap lima tahun sekali, untuk memilih anggota legislatif tingkat kota/kabupaten, DPR Provinsi, DPR RI, DPD maupun presiden. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi dalam Pemilu adalah biasanya perhitungan suara secara manual membutuhkan waktu yang lama, bisa mencapai beberapa minggu atau bahkan lebih dari sebulan. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan kesimpangsiuran dan ketidakpastian informasi siapa yang menang, siapa yang berhak duduk dikursi DPR (dalam pemilu legislatif). Penggunaan handphone dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pengiriman data perhitungan suara dari tiap tempat pemungutan suara (TPS) yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini membangun aplikasi quick count pada pemilu legislatif untuk mempercepat perhitungan suara menggunakan metode sainte lague. Hasil dari penelitian aplikasi quick count ini dapat menyampaikan hasil perhitungan suara di setiap TPS tanpa harus menunggu waktu yang terlalu lama dikarenakan setiap relawan dapat langsung mengirimkan hasil perhitungan suara pada setiap penugasannya menggunakan smartphonenya
PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI PEMANDU WISATA CERDAS SURAKARTA BERBASIS MOBILE
Perkembangan teknologi internet dan smartphone telah mengubah perilaku
keseharian masyarakat dalam berinteraksi satu sama lain. Masyarakat menjadi
lebih mudah dalam meminta dan mendapatkan informasi melalui perangkat
mobile. Kota Surakarta adalah wilayah otonom dengan status kota di bawah
Provinsi Jawa Tengah yang memiliki banyak daerah tempat wisata yang menarik
bagi wisatawan asing maupun lokal. Pada tahun 2015 jumlah wisatawan yang
berkunjung ke Kota Surakarta sebanyak 4,2 juta orang. Beberapa wisatawan
masih kesulitan dalam mendapatkan informasi mengenai lokasi tempat pariwisata
di kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini digunakan untuk membantu wisatawan dalam
mendapatkan informasi lokasi wisata di kota Surakarta.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode algoritma KNN, K-means dan
collaborative filtering. Data jarak antara kebutuhan pengguna dengan tempat
tujuan akan dikumpulkan dalam kategori dengan algoritma KNN dan data akan
dikelompokkan berdasarkan cluster dengan mean terdekat. Kemudian memilih
yang terdekat dan menyaring pilihan serta merekomendasikan pilihan yang tersisa
dengan pengguna utama.
Dengan adanya pemandu wisata cerdas dapat membantu wisatawan asing
maupun lokal dalam memberikan informasi lokasi wisata di Kota Surakarta sesuai
dengan kebutuhan user. Sehingga meningkatkan kepuasan dan kenyamanan
wisatawan dalam menikmati wisata di Kota Surakarta dan diharapkan dapat
meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan yang berwisata ke kota surakarta
The impact of negative events in scenic spots on tourists' behavioral intention: an analysis from the perspective of event system theory
Tourism is an important economic activity in China representing about 11.04% of GDP
and 10.29% of total employment. In recent years, negative events occurred frequently in
Chinese tourism spots, especially in scenic spots, and tended to be promptly divulgated through
social networks. The impact of these fast-running news on tourism activity is still to be
appraised. This study reviews the literature on negative events, and e-word-of-mouth effects,
jointly with personality characteristic theory, and consumer behavior intentions to address the
impact of negative events on tourism. The study contributes to the existent knowledge by using
the event theory system framework to explore how negative events affect tourists’ intentions
concerning visiting places where negative events took place. The results are meaningful both
theoretically and practically, showing that, on the one hand, the dimensions of space and
intensity proposed by the event theory system have a significant impact on tourists’ behavior
and, on another hand, tourists’ personality, namely risk-taking tendencies and openness, has a
significant impact on tourists' willingness to recommend. Further, the study addresses its
limitations and proposes management contributions, and future directions of research.O turismo é uma atividade muito importante na China representando cerca de 11.04% do

com frequência em locais turísticos, especialmente em locais de espetáculos, e têm sido
rapidamente difundidos através das redes sociais. O impacto sobre a atividade turística destas
notícias aceleradas está ainda por avaliar. Este trabalho revê a literatura sobre acontecimentos
negativos e efeitos de difusão eletrónica "boca-a-boca", em conjunto com a teoria da
personalidade e das intenções de consumo, para analisar o impacto de acontecimentos negativos
no turismo. O estudo contribui para a literatura existente ao usar o quadro do "event theory system"
para explorar como os acontecimentos negativos afetam as decisões dos turistas em visitar os
locais onde estes ocorreram. Os resultados são significativos, quer do ponto de vista teórico,
quer prático, demonstrando, por um lado, que as dimensões espaço e intensidade sugeridas pelo
"event theory system" têm impacto significativo no comportamento dos turistas e, por outro, que
a personalidade dos turistas, nomeadamente a sua tendência para aceitar o risco e a sua abertura,
tem um impacto significativo na sua vontade de recomendar os locais afetados pelos
acontecimentos negativos. Adicionalmente, o estudo discute as suas limitações e propõe
contribuições para o processo de gestão, bem como linhas de investigação futuras
Inglês para turismo : contributo para o uso da língua através de mobile learning
Doutoramento em LinguísticaTourism is growing and is becoming more competitive. Destinations need to
find elements which demonstrate their uniqueness, the singularity which allows
them to differentiate themselves from others. This struggle for uniqueness
makes economies become more competitive and competition is a central
element in the dynamics of Tourism. Technology is also an added value for
tourism competitiveness, as it allows destinations to become internationalised
and known worldwide.
In this scenario, research has increased as a means to study Tourism trends in
fields such as sociology and marketing. Nevertheless, there are areas in which
there is not much research done and which are fundamental: these are the
areas concerned with identities, communication and interpersonal relations. In
this regard, Linguistics has a major role for different reasons: firstly, it studies
language itself and through it, communication, secondly, language conveys
culture and, thirdly, it is by enriching language users that innovation in Tourism
and in knowledge, as a whole, is made possible. This innovation, on the other
hand, has repercussions in areas such as management, internationalisation
and marketing as well.
It is, therefore, the objective of this thesis to report on how learning experiences
take place in Tourism undergraduate English language classes as well as to
give an account of enhanced results in classes where mobile learning was
adopted. In this way, an alliance between practice and research was
established. This is beneficial for the teaching and learning process because by
establishing links between research based insight and practice, the outcome is
grounded knowledge which helps make solid educational decisions.
This research, therefore, allows to better understand if learners accept working
with mobile technologies in their learning process. Before introducing any
teaching and learning approach, it was necessary to be informed, as well, of
how English for tourism programmes are organised. This thesis also illustrates
through the premises of Systemic Functional Linguistics that language use can
be enhanced by using mobile technology in Tourism undergraduate language
classes.O setor do Turismo está em franco crescimento e é cada vez mais competitivo.
Por estes motivos, cada destino precisa de encontrar formas de demonstrar a
sua singularidade que lhe permita diferenciar-se dos demais. A necessidade
de oferecer características singulares torna as economias mais competitivas e
a concorrência é um elemento central na diferenciação. A tecnologia assumese
como uma mais-valia para a competitividade no setor turístico, pois permite
a internacionalização dos destinos.
Neste cenário, a investigação acerca das tendências no setor aumentou em
diversas áreas, nomeadamente na Sociologia e no Marketing. No entanto,
existem áreas em que não existe ainda muita investigação: tais como a área
das identidades, comunicação e relações interpessoais. Neste campo os
estudos linguísticos têm um papel importante por diversas razões: em primeiro
lugar, estudam a língua em uso, em segundo lugar, a lingua é o veículo que
permite o intercâmbio cultural e, por fim, é através do enriquecimento dos seus
falantes que é possível inovar no setor do Turismo e no conhecimento como
um todo. Esta inovação, por outro lado, tem repercussões em áreas como a
gestão, a internacionalização e o Marketing.
É, portanto, objetivo desta tese dar a conhecer experiências de uso de língua
que ocorrem em aulas de língua Inglesa com alunos de Turismo, assim como
mostrar os resultados de reforço de uso de língua em contextos em que a
aprendizagem através de dispositivos móveis foi adotada. Para o efeito,
desenvolveram-se estratégias que conciliaram a investigação e a prática letiva
que foram benéficas para o processo de ensino/aprendizagem uma vez que
permitiram tomar decisões educativas fundamentadas na investigação.
A presente tese permite compreender melhor se os alunos aceitam trabalhar
com tecnologias móveis no processo de aprendizagem. Permite, igualmente,
compreender de que forma estão organizados os tópicos dos programas de
língua Inglesa em cursos de Turismo. Por fim, esta tese também ilustra
através das premissas da Linguística Funcional Sistémica, que o uso da língua
pode ser reforçado recorrendo às tecnologias móveis em aulas de língua
Inglesa em cursos de Licenciatura em Turismo
A Tourism e-Guide System Using Mobile Integration
This paper presents a tourism e-guide system via mobile integration using offloading while enjoying mobility. A user can search for new mobile services available on the website to use either remotely on the server where the services resides, or locally after downloading them to his/her mobile device and work offline without a mobile connection. Jordan Tourism e-Guide System (JTeGS) aims to help the user/tourist accessing the tourism information directly from his/her smart device, anytime and anywhere using offloading. JTeGS is a web-based electronic guide that provides the user with appropriate tourism information about Jordan and guides him/her to find the best places to party, eat out, and enjoy culture events. The system architecture and the main components of the proposed services were presented and discussed. The system has been prototyped and validated in a real-time mobile internet application scenario. The system also has been evaluated through simulations in mobile network environment. Both experimental and simulation results demonstrated the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed system
