This paper described an analysis the different capabilities and limitation of both IEEE technologies that has been utilized for data transmission directed to mobile device. In this work, we have compared an IEEE 802.11/g/n outdoor environment to know what technology is better. the comparison consider on coverage area (mobility), through put and measuring the interferences. The work presented here is to help the researchers to select the best technology depending of their deploying case, and investigate the best variant for outdoor. The tool used is Iperf software which is to measure the data transmission performance of IEEE 802.11n and IEEE 802.11g

Any dedicated community project requires taā€™awun (mutual cooperation) and infaq (perpetual charitable contribution) to sustain the projects. Taā€™awun (mutual cooperation) and infaq are spiritual driven with strong conviction, commitment, and passion from the community members. There must be a strong motivation to drive people to get into taā€™awun (mutual cooperation) and to make infaq who love to achieve share common objectives and outcomes work together. When the community have decided to work on community agriculture projects for the sake of food security, taā€™awun (mutual cooperation) and infaq are necessary to operate community agriculture projects on a sustainable basis. This research obtained the views of the five groups within Mukim Setapak Daerah Gombak community who have been involving in community agriculture projects through conversational interview with note-taking about the influence of taā€™awun (mutual cooperation) in giving infaq for community agriculture projects. The research uses qualitative conversational interviews. The research applies thematic analysis for the analysis of the interview results. The informants argued that the motivation for the common and share objectives has driven them for taā€™awun (mutual cooperation) and infaq creating, maintaining and sustaining the community agriculture projects. The participants gave full commitment in terms of efforts and funding for the community agriculture projects. Taā€™awun has magical influence to get infaq and efforts. Future researchers may want to adopt a qualitative case study method involving several communities with vegetable garden projects to deeply explore the influence of cooperation for the infaq

It is with great pleasure that I present to you the Human Rights Resource Centreā€™s fourth ASEAN-wide study, ā€œKeeping the Faith: A Study of Freedom of Thought, Conscience and Religion in ASEANā€. Taking as its inspiration Article 22 of the ASEAN Human Rights Declaration, through which ASEAN governments have committed to eliminatā€œall forms of intolerance, discrimination and incitement of hatred based on religion and beliefsā€, the study seeks to capture the legal landscape pertaining to freedom of thought, conscience and religion in ASEAN. It also hopes to assist ASEAN Member States in working toward an agreed policy response in their implementation of this provision. By providing an overview of state practice on the freedom of thought, conscience, and religion across the region, and considering serious issues of religious persecution and conflict that pose a challenge to regional peace and stability, the Centre aims to contribute to an ongoing dialogue amongst civil society organizations, academia and government about how best to diffuse tensions amongst different religious groups as well as to foster greater understanding and acceptance of different religions and belief systems amongst ASEAN peoples. Religions and beliefs are both important identity markers within ASEAN, and ones which continue to provide a wealth of ideas and ways of seeing the world to flourish within the ASEAN community. It is our hope that through this study the Centre can further contribute toward that flourishing. This study would not have been possible without the guidance and support from our team of expert advisors and editors, Professor David Cohen of the WSD HANDA Center for Human Rights andInternational Justice, Professor Kevin Tan from the National University of Singapore, Professor Tore Lindholm, Professor Emeritus of the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, and Professors Cole Durham and Brett Scharffs from the International Center for Law and Religion Studies (ICLRS) at Brigham Young University. Our highest appreciation also goes to Dr. Jaclyn Neo, Lead Researcher on the study, and the outstanding country rapporteurs and research assistants. Once again, the study gathered both established and up and coming scholars from our research network. Last but not least, we would like to express our gratitude to the Norwegian Embassy in Jakarta for their support in this endeavour

    Communicating Science

Modern science communication has emerged in the twentieth century as a field of study, a body of practice and a professionā€”and it is a practice with deep historical roots. We have seen the birth of interactive science centres, the first university actions in teaching and conducting research, and a sharp growth in employment of science communicators. This collection charts the emergence of modern science communication across the world. This is the first volume to map investment around the globe in science centres, university courses and research, publications and conferences as well as tell the national stories of science communication. How did it all begin? How has development varied from one country to another? What motivated governments, institutions and people to see science communication as an answer to questions of the social place of science? Communicating Science describes the pathways followed by 39 different countries. All continents and many cultures are represented. For some countries, this is the first time that their science communication story has been told
