This article seeks to describe the work of nursing in relation to the health of Brazilian women in all social spheres, especially in reference to primary care. Thus, the general objective is to understand the main nursing actions in relation to women's health. because women are inserted in the labor market and other environments and the main individual is associated with the Unified Health System, but suffer various gender and racial inequalities that make it limited its scope, the question is possible that nursing has sufficient methods for the promotion of women's health?  Therefore, a literature review was used to help contextualize the theme of this research, highlighting the opinions of some authors on the respective theme, with searches through academic books, scientific journals, and scientific websites for understanding and analysis of other works that supported the study. Given the above, it can be concluded that because they are women, many suffer from violence and others need to be constantly taking care of their families and acquaintances who abandon their health, even though they are the main users of the Unified Health System, which for a long time prioritized reproductive health over other biological issues that also go through their life cycles. And that nursing has the principle of holistic and humanistic care, so when women come into contact with nursing teams they have the opportunity to be welcomed, empowered and guided about their rights to life, well-being and quality of health service.O presente artigo busca descrever o trabalho da enfermagem  em relação a  saĂșde da mulher brasileira em todos os Ăąmbitos sociais, principalmente em referĂȘncia a atenção bĂĄsica.

An Inclusive Design Method for Addressing Human Variability and Work Performance Issues

Humans play vital roles in manufacturing systems, but work performance is strongly influenced by factors such as experience, age, level of skill, physical and cognitive abilities and attitude towards work. Current manufacturing system design processes need to consider these human variability issues and their impact on work performance. An ‘inclusive design’ approach is proposed to consider the increasing diversity of the global workforce in terms of age, gender, cultural background, skill and experience. The decline in physical capabilities of older workers creates a mismatch between job demands and working capabilities which can be seen in manufacturing assembly that typically requires high physical demands for repetitive and accurate motions. The inclusive design approach leads to a reduction of this mismatch that results in a more productive, safe and healthy working environment giving benefits to the organization and individuals in terms of workforce satisfaction, reduced turnover, higher productivity and improved product quality

    Domestic Relations—Disposition of Property Upon Termination of Nonmarital Cohabitation—Marvin v. Marvin, 18 Cal. 3d 660, 557 P.2d 106, 134 Cal. Rptr. 815 (1976)

Plaintiff and defendant began living together in 1964. At that time they entered into an oral agreement whereby they would combine their earnings and efforts and would share equally in all property accumulated while they cohabited. Plaintiff averred that, in addition, they agreed to hold themselves out to the general public as husband and wife, although both knew defendant was legally married to another woman. Plaintiff then consented to give up her career as an entertainer in exchange for financial support from defendant for the rest of her life. For the following seven years, plaintiff rendered full-time services as a companion, homemaker, housekeeper, and cook. All property acquired during this period was taken in defendant\u27s name. When the parties separated, defendant continued to support plaintiff for eighteen months, but subsequently refused to provide further support. Plaintiff brought suit to enforce the oral contracts. The trial court granted defendant\u27s motion for judgment on the pleadings and the court of appeals affirmed the dismissal. The California Supreme Court reversed and remanded. Held: Express agreements regarding the distribution of property between nonmarital partners are enforceable except to the extent that they expressly and inseparably rest on a consideration of meretricious sexual services. In the absence of an express agreement, courts may inquire into the conduct of nonmarital partners and apply theories of implied-in-fact agreements, resulting or constructive trusts, quantum meruit, or other equitable remedies in order to protect the parties\u27 reasonable expectations. Background: Recent studies have shown preliminary evidence that vaccination against human papillomavirus (HPV) could decrease the risk of persistent/recurrent HSIL in women treated for high-grade cervical intraepithelial lesion (HSIL). We aimed to determine the benefits of HPV vaccination in patients undergoing conization for HSIL in real-life conditions and evaluate vaccination compliance associated with different funding policies. Methods: From January 2013 to July 2018, 265 women underwent conization in our center. From January 2013 to July 2017, treated patients (n = 131) had to pay for the vaccine, whereas after July 2017 the vaccine was publicly funded and free for treated women (n = 134). Post-conization follow-up controls were scheduled every six months with a Pap smear, HPV testing, and a colposcopy. Results: 153 (57.7%) women accepted vaccination (vaccinated group), and 112 (42.3%) refused the vaccine (non-vaccinated group). Persistent/recurrent HSIL was less frequent in vaccinated than in non-vaccinated women (3.3% vs. 10.7%, p = 0.015). HPV vaccination was associated with a reduced risk of persistent/recurrent HSIL (OR 0.2, 95%CI: 0.1–0.7, p = 0.010). Vaccination compliance increased when the vaccine was publicly funded (from 35.9% [47/131] to 79.1% [106/134], p < 0.001). Conclusions: HPV vaccination in women undergoing conization is associated with a 4.5-fold reduction in the risk of persistent/recurrent HSIL. Vaccination policies have an important impact on vaccination compliance

A search for 4750- and 4765-MHz OH masers in Southern Star Forming Regions

We have used the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) to make a sensitive (5-σ\sigma ≃\simeq 100 mJy) search for maser emission from the 4765-MHz 2Π1/2^2\Pi_{1/2} F=1→\to0 transition of OH. Fifty five star formation regions were searched and maser emission with a peak flux density in excess of 100 mJy was detected toward fourteen sites, with ten of these being new discoveries. In addition we observed the 4750-MHz 2Π1/2^2\Pi_{1/2} F=1→\to1 transition towards a sample of star formation regions known to contain 1720-MHz OH masers, detecting marginal maser emission from G348.550-0.979. If confirmed this would be only the second maser discovered from this transition. The occurrence of 4765-MHz OH maser emission accompanying 1720-MHz OH masers in a small number of well studied star formation regions has lead to a general perception in the literature that the two transitions favour similar physical conditions. Our search has found that the presence of the excited-state 6035-MHz OH transition is a much better predictor of 4765-MHz OH maser emission from the same region than is 1720-MHz OH maser emission. Combining our results with those of previous high resolution observations of other OH transitions we have examined the published theoretical models of OH masers and find that none of them predict any conditions in which the 1665-, 6035- and 4765-MHz transitions are simultaneously inverted. Erratum abstract: Dodson & Ellingsen (2002) included several observations with significant pointing errors, invalidating the upper limits found in these directions. These have now been reobserved or recalculated. A new table of upper limits has been generated, and two more masers that would have been seen have been found.Comment: Included an Erratum with Max as another author. This erratum was rejected by MNRAS (Feb 04) as it contained too much data. Resubmitted as a paper (Jun 04). Rejected (Sep 04) it had too little data. Resubmitted as reduced erratum (Apr 05). Global Warming: Why is There Debate?

Previous studies have produced conflicting results for the determining factors of acceptance or rejection of the science behind the global warming phenomenon; some cite religion as a hindrance to the acceptance of this scientific theory [Kilburn 2008], some conclude lack of education is the driving force [Brechin 2003], and some deduce that party affiliation plays the most significant role in determining belief in global warming. In this study, the National Election Survey of 2012 dataset, consisting of 5,916 individual data points from the United States of America, is analyzed to determine the effects of party affiliation on one’s belief in global warming, along with variables for education, religion, and age. The study was conducted using a logit model. The results conclude that religiosity and democratic affiliation had a significantly positive effect on one’s belief in global warming, while education had a significantly negative effect (p\u3c0.01). Age did not have a significant effect. These unexpected results are worth continued consideration, with the inclusion of research into the characteristics of those labeled democrats versus republicans in this dataset, as these distinctions could point to a shift in the generally accepted definitions of the political parties

Letter to the editor concerning the article “Performance of gymnastics skill benefits from an external focus of attention” by Abdollahipour, Wulf, Psotta & Nieto (2015)

Abdollahipour, Wulf, Psotta, & Nieto (2015) recently published data in Journal of Sports Sciences to show that an external focus of attention promotes superior performance effects (gymnastics jump height and judged movement form score) when compared to internal or control foci during skill execution without an implement involved. While we do not contest the veracity of findings reported, nor others that have been used to support beneficial effects of an external focus of attention, in this Letter to the Editor we comment on considerable methodological limitations associated with this and previous studies which, we suggest, have resulted in serious theoretical oversights regarding the control of movement and, most crucially from our practitioner perspective, suboptimal recommendations for applied coaching practice. Specifically, we discuss the lack of consideration towards translational research in this area, the problematic nature of attentional focus cues employed, interpretation of findings in relation to other applied recommendations and coherence with mechanistic underpinning and finally, the representative nature of task involved. In summary, while (laboratory) research evidence may appear to be conclusive, we suggest that focus of attention effects are in need of more ecologically valid and rigorous testing and consideration of current coaching practices if it is to optimally serve the applied sporting domain that it purportedly aims to
