Design of In-Flight Instrumentation to Characterize a Hybrid Thruster
The NASA Undergraduate Student Instrument Project (USIP) is a program with the goal to provide hands-on flight project experience to undergraduate programs, and to fly new technology in space to improve Technology Readiness Level (TRL)
Italian hybrid fire prevention code
Fire safety of residential buildings and activities subjected to fire inspection is a difficult task, especially when the safety targets have to be adopted in built buildings or in activities that are going to be modified into more complex ones. Generally, these circumstances show more constraints and it could be difficult to achieve an acceptable level of fire residual risk by prescriptive based fireregulations. Therefore, the Italian National Fire Rescue and Service in charge for fire safety, in August 2015 issued a new Fire Prevention Code whose design methodology is more oriented to fire performance based design rather than prescriptive fire codes. The flexibility of this new fire design methodology offers a very complex tool to experts in order to design fire safety measures and strategies of buildings and activities subjected to fire inspection. The present paper aims tohighlig hts the contents and the fire safety strategy design methodology of the new Italian Fire Prevention Code
On Robust Stability of Limit Cycles for Hybrid Systems with Multiple Jumps
In this paper, we address stability and robustness properties of hybrid limit cycles for a class of hybrid systems with multiple jumps in one period. The main results entail equivalent characterizations of stability of hybrid limit cycles for hybrid systems. The hybrid limit cycles may have multiple jumps in one period and the jumps are allowed to occur on sets. Conditions guaranteeing robustness of hybrid limit cycles are also presented
RELIANCE ATTITUDES OF FARMERS IN CHOOSING HYBRID AND NON-HYBRID SEEDS IN CORN FARMING (CASE STUDY IN THE DISTRICT OF PURI DISTRICT. MOJOKERTO, EAST JAVA)
The purpose of this study are: 1). Analyzed the attitude of the farmers trust in
choosing Hybrid and Non-Hybrid seeds on corn farming. 2). Knowing the superior
attributes of corn seed hybrid and non-hybrid is an option for farmers. 3). Analyzed
the economic feasibility of farming of corn hybrid and non hybrid. The research
method used analysis of Fishbein Multiattribute attitude models to detect first and
secondary objectiveness, while the third objective economic analysis of farming
used by an analysis of cost and revenue balance (Return and Cost Ratio). The
finding are show 1). Farmers who consider the most important attributes in selecting
seed corn hybrid (P-21), (Bisi-2) is the Production, Growing Power, Brand, Efficiency
uses Fertilizer, Seed Availability and Seed Price. In the other side Resistant toward
drought attributes deemed most farmers less important than other attributes. The
most important attributes of corn seed non-hybrid (Local) is Seed Price, Growing
Power, Production, Brand, Resistant toward drought and Efficiency uses Fertilizer.
While Seed Availability attributes deemed most farmers less important than other
attributes. 2). Superior attributes selected by farmers on farms using corn seed
hybrid (P-21), (Bisi-2) are production, While that use corn seed non hybrid (local)
are seed price.. 3). Corn farming that use seed hybrid (P-21) and (Bisi-2), more
efficient from seed non hybrid (local), and economical beneficial with feasible to

On Statistical Properties of Jizba-Arimitsu Hybrid Entropy
Jizba-Arimitsu entropy (also called hybrid entropy) combines axiomatics of
R\'enyi and Tsallis entropy. It has many common properties with them, on the
other hand, some aspects as e.g., MaxEnt distributions, are completely
different from the former two entropies. In this paper, we demonstrate the
statistical properties of hybrid entropy, including the definition of hybrid
entropy for continuous distributions, its relation to discrete entropy and
calculation of hybrid entropy for some well-known distributions. Additionally,
definition of hybrid divergence and its connection to Fisher metric is also
discussed. Interestingly, the main properties of continuous hybrid entropy and
hybrid divergence are completely different from measures based on R\'enyi and
Tsallis entropy. This motivates us to introduce average hybrid entropy, which
can be understood as an average between Tsallis and R\'enyi entropy
Hybrid Geometric Reduction of Hybrid Systems
This paper presents a unifying framework in
which to carry out the hybrid geometric reduction of hybrid
systems, generalizing classical reduction to a hybrid setting
Equivalence of switching linear systems by bisimulation
A general notion of hybrid bisimulation is proposed for the class of switching linear systems. Connections between the notions of bisimulation-based equivalence, state-space equivalence, algebraic and inputâoutput equivalence are investigated. An algebraic characterization of hybrid bisimulation and an algorithmic procedure converging in a finite number of steps to the maximal hybrid bisimulation are derived. Hybrid state space reduction is performed by hybrid bisimulation between the hybrid system and itself. By specializing the results obtained on bisimulation, also characterizations of simulation and abstraction are derived. Connections between observability, bisimulation-based reduction and simulation-based abstraction are studied.\ud
