Se zvyšujícími se nároky na přenosovou kapacitu podnikových i přístupových sítí se jeví jako vhodné řešení optické sítě. Světelný paprsek je velmi lákavý pro použití k přenosu dat. Přenášená data můžeme reprezentovat pomocí světelných impulsů. Pro praktickou realizaci potřebujeme ovšem celý optický přenosový systém, složený z vysílače, přenosového média a přijímače. Úkolem přenosového média je dopravit světelný paprsek od jeho zdroje k detektoru s co možná nejmenšími ztrátami. K tomuto účelu se používá optické vlákno nebo optický bezkabelový spoj FSO. Optická kabelová přípojka k Internetu je pro většinu domácností i podniků zatím nedosažitelná, jsou velmi nákladné a zatím běžně nefigurují v nabídce provozovatelů a poskytovatelů připojení (alespoň ne v našich podmínkách). Existuje ovšem možnost, jak se vyhnout optickým vláknovým sítím, a přesto dosáhnout vysoké propustnosti a bezpečnosti komunikace: prostřednictvím optiky bez kabelů. Z hlediska náročnosti nasazení představují jen zlomek nákladů s pokládkou optických kabelů, ovšem lze je využít jen na krátkou vzdálenost. Bezdrátová optika umožňuje nejen rychlou, ale i ekologickou komunikaci, což je ve světě stále populárnějších rádiových sítí, přeplňujících zejména některé části spektra, velice příjemná zpráva.With increasing demands for transit capacity of data networks as well as communication network optical networks seem to be the suitable solution. Light beam is attractive to use for data transmission . Transmitted data can be expressed by means of light impuls.. For execution of the project we need the whole optical telecommunical system which consists of transmitter, transmission link and receiver. The target of transmission link is to transfer optical beam from its resourse to detector with minimal losses. The optical fibre or optical freespace optical link FSO are used for this purpose. Connection to internet by optical fibre is out of reach for most households and plants, it is very expensive and so far it isn´t in the offer of network operators and service providers. (at lest in our condition). But there is still the posibility to obviate optical fibre networks and reach high permeability and safety of communication by means of freespace optical links. It is much easier to implement, but only for short distance. FSO enables quick and even ecological communication which is in the world of more famous radio frequency networks very pleasant message.

Tato práce se zabývá počítačovou simulací procesů, která v dnešní době napomáhá v oblasti procesního inženýrství. Úvodní část se věnuje metodice modelování a simulace a dále pak hmotnostním a energetickým bilancím. Poté následuje popis samotných metod simulace procesů. V práci lze dále nalézt přehled nejpoužívanějších simulačních programů a jejich typickou strukturu. V závěru je pak pro názornost uveden ukázkový příklad řešený pomocí sekvenčně modulární a rovnicově orientované simulace. Správnost výsledků výpočtů je ověřena simulačním programem W2E.The thesis deals with computer simulation of processes, which is crucial in the field of process engineering. In the first part, the methodology of modeling and simulation techniques is described as well as mass and energy balances. Specific approaches to process simulation are included. The thesis offers a list of the most often used simulation programs and their typical structure. Sequential modular and equation-based simulation is demonstrated on an example. The results are then verified by simulation software W2E.

The main goal of the promotion paper is to forecast Latvia's current account, and using this forecast to define, whether the current account deficit is a significant risk factor for Latvian economy. The modelling of Latvia's current account is made by using econometric methodology, on the base of all the most important theoretical concepts of current account. Although the current account deficit is a risk factor for Latvian economy, it will not cause currency and financial crisis during the time period before Latvia's accession into the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU). Calculation of column destillation unit.

Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na tři hlavní části. První část se zabývá principem a teoretickým základem pro pochopení problematiky destilace. Podstatná část práce je věnována podrobnému řešení elementárních mezikroků, které vedou k výsledným parametrům destilační kolony. Tyto parametry mohou sloužit jako výchozí k dalším výpočtům, jenž směřují k efektivnímu nadimenzování destilační kolony v praxi. Poslední část bakalářské práce porovnává hodnoty získané výpočtem s výsledky, které jsou generovány programem ChemCAD na základě identického schématu a parametrů destilační kolony.The bachelor's thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part discusses principles and theoretical base of the distillation process. The majority part of this thesis includes solution of elementar steps towards the resultant parameters of the distillation column. This results may be served like input parameters during other calculations, which can make an effective optimalization of the distillation column for the practical use. The last part of bachelor's thesis compares results of the second part with results, which was generated by ChemCAD aplication with the same input numerical values.

Time Optimisation for the Process of Moulds Exchange

Bakalářská práce se zabývá optimalizací spotřeby času při výměně forem na výrobním stroji. Teoretická část obsahuje podklady a možnosti pro redukci času práce. Druhá část obsahuje popis pracoviště, současný způsob výměny forem, vyhodnocení spotřeby času a identifikaci problému při jejich výměně. Následně v další části jsou zaznamenány ztráty zjištěné snímkováním a implementace metody SMED pro optimalizaci času výměny forem. Předposlední část navrhuje řešení k odstranění neproduktivních časů s predikcí přínosu. V závěru bakalářské práce je zhodnocení přínosu pro výrobní společnost.This bachelor thesis deals with an optimization of the time consumption while the moulds on the production machine are being replaced. The theoretical part contains background materials and possibilities for reduction of working time. The second part contains a description of the workplace, current way of replacing moulds, evaluation of time consumption and identification of a problem while replacing them. Next part of this thesis records losses found out by imaging and the implementation of the SMED method for optimizing of the moulds exchanging time. Another part of the thesis proposes a solution to eliminate unproductive times with a prediction of its contribution. The technologies for processing of waste Li batteries

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na možnosti využití Li-ion baterií a jejich recyklaci. V posledních letech dochází k nárůstu poptávky po Li-Ion bateriích, a to v několika průmyslových odvětvích. S tím je očekáván velký nárůst odpadních baterií. V práci jsou ojasněny současné technologické postupy a procesy při recyklaci. V závislosti na zvyšujícím se množství odpadních Li-Ion baterií bylo v praktické části analyzováno materiálové složení vybraných typů baterií. Podíl jednotlivých složek byl stanoven pomocí hmotnostní bilance u Li-Ion baterií používaných v mobilních telefonech. Dále byly zhodnoceny možnosti jejich využití včetně recyklace.My Bachelor study is focused on mapping opportunities in using Li-ion batteries and their way of recycling. Several last years we can see the progress in demand for using Li-Ion batteries in industry. In that case we could expect increased amount of waste batteries. In these study I introduce actual technology processes including processes of their recycling. According to increased amount waste batteries Li-Ion batteries I have analysed in my study the material composition of several type of waste batteriesbatteries. The amount of individual and specific components of Li-Ions batteries used in mobil phones was set up by using mass balance methodology.
