Group psychotherapy in its different orientations and modalities has shown its usefulness to relieve and improve suffering of various kinds in different age ranges and psychopathological disorders. It represents a valuable exploratory, diagnostic and therapeutic instrument with a specific entity and its own specificity of intervention in the field of child mental health due to its preventive action for the mental health of future adults. The therapeutic potential of psychoanalytically oriented group psychotherapy with children is expanded with an active, creative, dynamic and therapeutic approach to play, whose therapeutic value is in turn enhanced by the therapeutic factors of group psychotherapy. It is proposed to extend the analysis of group discourse with the concept of group discourse of the game, a singular and unique discourse in each group that constitutes a central therapeutic axis in psychoanalytically oriented group psychotherapy with children who play. The implementation of group play psychotherapy requires theoretical bases on the technique of groups and play therapy with children, as well as a qualified training and the integration of knowledge, understanding and clinical experience of the therapist, to develop complex technical processes, essential in working with children in group psychotherapy.

EstuPlan: Methodology for the development of creativity in the resolution of scientific and social problems

[EN] Creative thinking is necessary to generate novel ideas and solve problems. "EstuPlan" is a methodology in which knowledge and creativity converge for the resolution of scientific problems with social projection. It is a training programme that integrates teachers, laboratory technicians and PhD students, master and undergraduate students which form working groups for the development of projects. Projects have a broad and essential scope and projection in terms of environmental problems, sustainable use of natural resources, food, health, biotechnology or biomedicine. The results show the success of this significant learning methodology using tools to develop creativity in responding to scientific and social demand for problem-solving to transfer academic knowledge to different professional environments. Bioplastics, Second Life of Coffee, LimBio, Algae oils, Ecomers, Caring for the life of your crop and Hate to Deforestate are currently being developed.Astudillo Calderón, S.; De Díez De La Torre, L.; García Companys, M.; Ortega Pérez, N.; Rodríguez Martínez, V.; Alzahrani, S.; Alonso Valenzuela, R.... Clonal chromosomal mosaicism and loss of chromosome Y in elderly men increase vulnerability for SARS-CoV-2

The pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2, COVID-19) had an estimated overall case fatality ratio of 1.38% (pre-vaccination), being 53% higher in males and increasing exponentially with age. Among 9578 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 in the SCOURGE study, we found 133 cases (1.42%) with detectable clonal mosaicism for chromosome alterations (mCA) and 226 males (5.08%) with acquired loss of chromosome Y (LOY). Individuals with clonal mosaic events (mCA and/or LOY) showed a 54% increase in the risk of COVID-19 lethality. LOY is associated with transcriptomic biomarkers of immune dysfunction, pro-coagulation activity and cardiovascular risk. Interferon-induced genes involved in the initial immune response to SARS-CoV-2 are also down-regulated in LOY. Thus, mCA and LOY underlie at least part of the sex-biased severity and mortality of COVID-19 in aging patients. Given its potential therapeutic and prognostic relevance, evaluation of clonal mosaicism should be implemented as biomarker of COVID-19 severity in elderly people. Among 9578 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 in the SCOURGE study, individuals with clonal mosaic events (clonal mosaicism for chromosome alterations and/or loss of chromosome Y) showed an increased risk of COVID-19 lethality

Currently, parent-baby psychotherapies are one of the main therapeutic modalities in Perinatality and Early Childhood. They have as a theoretical reference the relational dimension, although its application differs according to the theoretical model and the therapeutic objective. They focus on the Interactive and Representational System, so that parents develop adequate resources to observe, understand, recognize and meet the needs of contact, protection and secure attachment of their newborn child and optimize development, especially in the case of neonates with present or probable pathologies. In addition, enhancing these parental abilities, it is essential to promote processes of parental mentalization and the establishment of healthy emotional bonds in the family. In this work, it is proposed to include in the therapeutic framework of parent-baby psychotherapies, the bonding perspective focused on parenting, in the family group. The approach of the parental clinic is extended when the specificity of therapeutic interventions focused on the Family Bonding System is required, which provides unique and specific innovations, as well as preventive ones.
