    This Gorontalo is one of regions with varied inhabitants, particularly if it is reviewed from the ethnic aspect. Instead of indigenous people who are ethnic Gorontalo, there are other ethnic classified as comers too, including ethnic Chinese. The attendance of the Ethnic Chinese in Biawao Village of Gorontalo City was began in second half of 19 Century (1856) and intensively since early of 20 Century along with direct administration applied by Dutch Colonial over Gorontalo region. Their presence in Gorontalo and Indonesia was commonly driven by frequent problem emerged in China which was not enabling them to have a better life. In addition, hope for fate improvement offered by new land also became a trigger of Chinese migration to all over the world including Gorontalo. as time went by, the ethnic Chinese in Gorontalo had assimilated with local inhabitant (ethnic Gorontalo), and it occurred thorough several interactive media which the most dominant were tradevand marriage

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peranan museum Popa-Eyato Provinsi Gorontalo sebagai media belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif, yaitu berusaha mendeskripsikan segala bentuk data yang didapatkan di lapangan sesuai dengan metode yang ada. Hasil penelitiannya adalah museum Gorontalo sejak diresmikan pada tahun 2015 telah menjadi tempat alternatif dalam melaksanakan belajar dan pembelajaran, baik siswa maupun masyarakat Gorontalo secara umum. Hal ini karena, dengan belajar di museum sebagai alternatof belajar sejarah lokal, memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui lebih dalam terkait dengan perkekmbangan sejarah lokal di Gorontal

    HISTORICAL BASED LEARNING: INOVASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ANDRAGOGI

    Abstrak: Tujuan penulisan artikel ini yakni untuk membuat inovasi model pembelajaran sejarah pada mata kuliah Sejarah Indonesia Masa Hindu dan Buddha sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada lima prinsip andragogi yakni (1) adanya identifikasi kebutuhan; (2) materi yang menarik, (3) berbasis masalah, (4) memanfaatkan sumber belajar, (5) belajar yang bermakna. Lima prinsip andragogi bisa memunculkan inovasi dalam pembelajaran yakni disebut dengan model Historical Based Learning. Dalam model Historical Based Learning ada tujuh langkah dalam pembelajarannya yakni; (1) menentukan materi, (2) membentuk kelompok, (3) heuristic, (4) kritik, (5) interpretasi, (6) historiografi, (7) evaluasi.Abstract: The purpose of writing this article is to create an innovative historical learning model in the course of Indonesian History of the Hindu and Buddhist Period so that learning objectives can be achieved. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data were obtained from interviews, observations and documentation. The results showed that there are five principles of andragogy, namely (1) identification of needs; (2) interesting material, (3) problem-based, (4) utilizing learning resources, (5) meaningful learning. The five principles of andragogy can lead to innovation in learning, which is called the Historical Based Learning model. In the Historical Based Learning model there are seven steps in learning, namely; (1) determining the material, (2) forming groups, (3) heuristic, (4) criticism, (5) interpretation, (6) historiography, (7) evaluation

    The influence of Using Martha Christina Tiahahu Struggle History Module on History Awareness of Muhammadiyah High School Students Raha

    This study aims to describe the effect of using the Martha Christina Tiahahu Struggle History Module on the historical awareness of Muhammadiyah Raha High School students. The subjects in this study were 60 students of class XI SMA Muhammadiyah Raha. This research was an experimental study using the experimental class (history module) and the control class (regular textbook). The objects of this research are students of class XI SMA Muhammadiyah Raha in the academic year 2019/2020. The results showed that the regression coefficient value of the history module (X) was 0.360 with a significance level of 0.001 < 0.005 while the F value was found to be 9.206 with a significance level of 0.001. and the value of R2 (R Square) was found to be 0.627 which means that the independent variable, namely the history module, affects the student's historical awareness variable by 62.7%, while the remaining 30.73% is a unique factor that cannot be investigated in this study. Thus, it can be concluded that the struggle history module of Martha Christina Tiahahu (X) affects the historical awareness of the students of SMA Muhammadiyah Raha
