The bifurcation of limit cycles of two classes of cubic isochronous systems
In this paper, we study the bifurcation of limit cycles of the periodic annulus of two classes of cubic isochronous systems. By using complete elliptic integrals of the first, second kinds and the Chebyshev criterion, we show that the upper bound for the number of limit cycles which appear from the periodic annuli of the two systems are at least three under cubic perturbations. Moreover, there exists a perturbation that give rise to exactly i limit cycles bifurcating from the period annulus for each i = 0, 1, 2, 3

Current Understanding of Gut Microbiota in Mood Disorders: An Update of Human Studies
Gut microbiota plays an important role in the bidirectional communication between the gut and the central nervous system. Mounting evidence suggests that gut microbiota can influence the brain function via neuroimmune and neuroendocrine pathways as well as the nervous system. Advances in gene sequencing techniques further facilitate investigating the underlying relationship between gut microbiota and psychiatric disorders. In recent years, researchers have preliminarily explored the gut microbiota in patients with mood disorders. The current review aims to summarize the published human studies of gut microbiota in mood disorders. The findings showed that microbial diversity and taxonomic compositions were significantly changed compared with healthy individuals. Most of these findings revealed that short-chain fatty acids-producing bacterial genera were decreased, while pro-inflammatory genera and those involved in lipid metabolism were increased in patients with depressive episodes. Interestingly, the abundance of Actinobacteria, Enterobacteriaceae was increased and Faecalibacterium was decreased consistently in patients with either bipolar disorder or major depressive disorder. Some studies further indicated that specific bacteria were associated with clinical characteristics, inflammatory profiles, metabolic markers, and pharmacological treatment. These studies present preliminary evidence of the important role of gut microbiota in mood disorders, through the brain-gut-microbiota axis, which emerges as a promising target for disease diagnosis and therapeutic interventions in the future
Measuring the Quality of Financial Electronic Payment System: Combined with Fuzzy AHP and Fuzzy TOPSIS
The study aims to apply Fuzzy AHP in TOPSIS to discuss the key factors that foster the success of current third-party online payment platforms. This study organized the quality measurements into four categories and eleven sub-categories. The AHP in TOPSIS is applied to calculate the weighted averages of all categories and sub-categories to measure the quality of third-party online payment platforms. This study finds that âsafety qualityâ is the most emphasized category, âsystem qualityâ is the second, âcommunication qualityâ is the third, and âservice qualityâ is the least emphasized
Dynamic Finite Element Analysis on Underlay Microstructure of Cu/low-k Wafer during Wirebonding
The aim of present research is to investigate dynamic stress analysis for microstructure of Cu/Low-K wafer subjected to wirebonding predicted by finite element software ANSYS/LS-DYNA. Two major analyses are conducted in the present research. In the first, the characteristic of heat affected zone (HAZ) and free air ball (FAB) on ultra thin Au wire have been carefully experimental measured. Secondary, the dynamic response on Al pad/beneath the pad of Cu/low-K wafer during wirebonding process has been successfully predicted by finite element analysis (FEA). Tensile mechanical properties of ultra thin wire before/after electric flame-off (EFO) process have been investigated by self-design pull test fixture. The experimental obtained hardening value has significantly influence on localize stressed area on Al pad. This would result in Al pad squeezing around the smashed FAB during impact stage and the consequent thermosonic vibration stage. Microstructure of FAB and HAZ are also carefully measured by micro/nano indentation instruments. All the measured data serves as material inputs for the FEA explicit software ANSYS/LS-DYNA. Because the crack of low-k layer and delamination of copper via are observed, dynamic transient analysis is performed to inspect the overall stress/strain distributions on the microstructure of Cu/low-k wafer. Special emphasizes are focused on the copper via layout and optimal design of Cu/low-k microstructure. It is also shown that the Al pad can be replaced by Al-Cu alloy pad or Cu pad to avoid large deformation on pad and cracking beneath the surface. A series of comprehensive experimental works and FEA predictions have been performed to increase bondability and reliability in this study
Using DMA to Simultaneously Acquire Young's Relaxation Modulus and Time-dependent Poisson's Ratio of a Viscoelastic Material
AbstractA method to obtain the Young's relaxation modulus and time-dependent Poisson's ratio simultaneously by using DMA is developed with the assumption of constant bulk modulus instead of constant Poisson's ratio. The constant bulk modulus is then calculated by either instantaneous response or the equilibrium response of the time-dependent Poisson's ratio. The modulating Young's moduli and characteristic times that measured by DMA are corrected analytically by using the developed formulas. The time-dependent Poisson's ratio is then obtained from the corrected modulating Young's moduli and the constant bulk modulus. As an application example, the method is applied to the DMA measurement of an epoxy molding compound (EMC). Although the correction to Young's relaxation modulus is very small, the viscoelastic Poisson's ratio varies significantly over time from 0.4 to 0.496, and canât be assumed as a constant
Cryopreservation of Orchid Genetic Resources by Desiccation: A Case Study of Bletilla formosana
Many native orchid populations declined yearly due to economic development and climate change. This resulted in some wild orchids being threatened. In order to maintain the orchid genetic resources, development of proper methods for the longâterm preservation is urgent. Low temperature or dry storage methods for the preservation of orchid genetic resources have been implemented but are not effective in maintaining high viability of certain orchids for long periods. Cryopreservation is one of the most acceptable methods for longâterm conservation of plant germplasm. Orchid seeds and pollens are ideal materials for longâterm preservation (seed banking) in liquid nitrogen (LN) as the seeds and pollens are minute, enabling the storage of many hundreds of thousands of seeds or pollens in a small vial, and as most species germinate readily, making the technique very economical. This article describes cryopreservation of orchid genetic resources by desiccation and a case study of Bletilla formosana. We hope to provide a more practical potential cryopreservation method for future research needs

In situ measurement of electromigration-induced transient stress in Pb-free Sn-Cu solder joints by synchrotron radiation based X-ray polychromatic microdiffraction
Electromigration-induced hydrostatic elastic stress in Pb-free SnCu solder joints was studied by in situ synchrotron X-ray white beam microdiffraction. The elastic stresses in two different grains with similar crystallographic orientation, one located at the anode end and the other at the cathode end, were analyzed based on the elastic anisotropy of the {beta}-Sn crystal structure. The stress in the grain at the cathode end remained constant except for temperature fluctuations, while the compressive stress in the grain at the anode end was built-up as a function of time during electromigration until a steady state was reached. The measured compressive stress gradient between the cathode and the anode is much larger than what is needed to initiate Sn whisker growth. The effective charge number of {beta}-Sn derived from the electromigration data is in good agreement with the calculated value
Surface Morphological and Nanomechanical Properties of PLD-Derived ZnO Thin Films
This study reports the surface roughness and nanomechanical characteristics of ZnO thin films deposited on the various substrates, obtained by means of atomic force microscopy (AFM), nanoindentation and nanoscratch techniques. ZnO thin films are deposited on (a- and c-axis) sapphires and (0001) 6H-SiC substrates by using the pulsed-laser depositions (PLD) system. Continuous stiffness measurements (CSM) technique is used in the nanoindentation tests to determine the hardness and Youngâs modulus of ZnO thin films. The importance of the ratio (H/Efilm) of elastic to plastic deformation during nanoindentation of ZnO thin films on their behaviors in contact-induced damage during fabrication of ZnO-based devices is considered. In addition, the friction coefficient of ZnO thin films is also presented here
