Free Field Dynamics in the Generalized AdS (Super)Space
Pure gauge representation for general vacuum background fields (Cartan forms)
in the generalized superspace identified with is found. This
allows us to formulate dynamics of free massless fields in the generalized
space-time and to find their (generalized) conformal and higher spin
field transformation laws. Generic solution of the field equations is also
constructed explicitly. The results are obtained with the aid of the star
product realization of ortosymplectic superalgebras.Comment: Some notes added, corrected typo
Applying Schwarzschild's orbit superposition method to barred or non-barred disc galaxies
We present an implementation of the Schwarzschild orbit superposition method
which can be used for constructing self-consistent equilibrium models of barred
or non-barred disc galaxies, or of elliptical galaxies with figure rotation.
This is a further development of the publicly available code SMILE; its main
improvements include a new efficient representation of an arbitrary
gravitational potential using two-dimensional spline interpolation of Fourier
coefficients in the meridional plane, as well as the ability to deal with
rotation of the density profile and with multicomponent mass models. We compare
several published methods for constructing composite axisymmetric
disc--bulge--halo models and demonstrate that our code produces the models that
are closest to equilibrium. We also apply it to create models of triaxial
elliptical galaxies with cuspy density profiles and figure rotation, and find
that such models can be found and are stable over many dynamical times in a
wide range of pattern speeds and angular momenta, covering both slow- and
fast-rotator classes. We then attempt to create models of strongly barred disc
galaxies, using an analytic three-component potential, and find that it is not
possible to make a stable dynamically self-consistent model for this density
profile. Finally, we take snapshots of two N-body simulations of barred disc
galaxies embedded in nearly-spherical haloes, and construct equilibrium models
using only information on the density profile of the snapshots. We demonstrate
that such reconstructed models are in near-stationary state, in contrast with
the original N-body simulations, one of which displayed significant secular
evolution.Comment: 15 pages, 9 figures; MNRAS, 450, 2842. The software is available at

Superspace Formulation of 4D Higher Spin Gauge Theory
Interacting AdS_4 higher spin gauge theories with N \geq 1 supersymmetry so
far have been formulated as constrained systems of differential forms living in
a twistor extension of 4D spacetime. Here we formulate the minimal N=1 theory
in superspace, leaving the internal twistor space intact. Remarkably, the
superspace constraints have the same form as those defining the theory in
ordinary spacetime. This construction generalizes straightforwardly to higher
spin gauge theories N>1 supersymmetry.Comment: 24 p
An Exact Solution of 4D Higher-Spin Gauge Theory
We give a one-parameter family of exact solutions to four-dimensional
higher-spin gauge theory invariant under a deformed higher-spin extension of
SO(3,1) and parameterized by a zero-form invariant. All higher-spin gauge
fields vanish, while the metric interpolates between two asymptotically AdS4
regions via a dS3-foliated domainwall and two H3-foliated Robertson-Walker
spacetimes -- one in the future and one in the past -- with the scalar field
playing the role of foliation parameter. All Weyl tensors vanish, including
that of spin two. We furthermore discuss methods for constructing solutions,
including deformation of solutions to pure AdS gravity, the gauge-function
approach, the perturbative treatment of (pseudo-)singular initial data
describing isometric or otherwise projected solutions, and zero-form
invariants.Comment: 47 pages. v3: global properties of the solution clarified, minor

Test of the local form of higher-spin equations via AdS/CFT
The local form of higher-spin equations found recently to the second order
[1] is shown to properly reproduce the anticipated correlators for
appropriate boundary conditions. It is argued that consistent
holography for the parity-broken boundary models needs a nontrivial
modification of the bosonic truncation of the original higher-spin theory with
the doubled number of fields, as well as a nonlinear deformation of the
boundary conditions in the higher orders.Comment: 18 pages, Typos and acknowledgement corrected. Misleading notation in

Primordial star formation triggered by UV photons from UHECR
The presence of ultra-high energy cosmic rays in the universe in the
pre-ionization epoch enhances significantly H kinetics in virialized halos.
It results in more efficient radiative cooling and decreases the lower mass
limit of the first star-forming systems. Consequently, the fraction of baryons
contained in the first luminous objects and their contribution to the
reionization of the universe can significantly increase in comparison with the
standard scenario.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figures, accepted in A&
Deformed Oscillator Algebras and Higher-Spin Gauge Interactions of Matter Fields in 2+1 Dimensions
We formulate a non-linear system of equations which describe higher-spin
gauge interactions of massive matter fields in 2+1 dimensional space-time and
explain some properties of the deformed oscillator algebra which underlies this
formulation. In particular we show that the parameter of mass of matter
fields is related to the deformation parameter in this algebra.Comment: LaTex, 12 pages, no figures; Invited talk at the International

Higher Spins in AdS and Twistorial Holography
In this paper we simplify and extend previous work on three-point functions
in Vasiliev's higher spin gauge theory in AdS4. We work in a gauge in which the
space-time dependence of Vasiliev's master fields is gauged away completely,
leaving only the internal twistor-like variables. The correlation functions of
boundary operators can be easily computed in this gauge. We find complete
agreement of the tree level three point functions of higher spin currents in
Vasiliev's theory with the conjectured dual free O(N) vector theory.Comment: 23 pages. v3: minor errors fixed, added comments and reference
