    Development of Students 'Sheet Activities Through Inquiry Models in Various Themes of Class IV Students' Basic Schools

    This study aims to develop student worksheets, and to know the effectiveness of thematic based LKS through Inquiry model for fourth grade students of Elementary School I Pinang Jaya. This type of research is research and development (R & D) which refers to Borg & Gall's theory. The study population was all grade IV students of SDN Sekampung Gugus Ahmad Yani District and a sample of 54 students obtained by multistage random sampling technique were grade IV students of SDN I Klopo Mulyo. Data collection techniques use learning and observation tests. Data analysis technique is done through quantitative analysis for product development that is effectiveness test used N-gain and t test. The results of this study indicate that the developed LKS feasible to be used and effective through experts from material experts and media experts in improving student learning outcomes.     Kajian Manajemen Lalu Lintas Jaringan Jalan Di Kawasan Terusan Ijen Kota Malang

    Pesatnya perkembangan kota Malang saat ini membawa dampak positif dan negatif. Salah satu dampaknya adalah padatnya volume lalu lintas di beberapa ruas dan simpang bahkan sering terjadi blocking pada simpang bersinyal dan simpang tak bersinyal. Selain itu ditambah dengan perilaku pengendara serta pengemudi yang tidak tertib. Salah satu kawasan yang ditinjau adalah kawasan terusan ijen kota malang yang merupakan kawasan yang cukup ramai dan berkembang pesat. Pada kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang kinerja jaringan jalan di kawasan terusan ijen untuk kondisi eksisting, kemudian menganalisa kinerja jaringan jalan di kawasan terusan ijen dalam pertumbuhan tahun rencana, dan menentukan rekayasa lalu lintas yang sesuai sehingga diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi alternatif dari permasalahan yang terjadi. Kajian yang dilakukan berupa analisa kinerja simpang tak bersinyal dan jalinan jalan serta menentukan rekayasa lalu lintas yang sesuai. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah survei cacah lalu lintas dan peninjauan geometrik jalan kondisi eksisting. Analisis kinerja simpang dan jalinan jalan mengacu pada MKJI 1997, sedangkan rekayasa lalu lintas mengacu pada referensi terkait. Parameter yang digunakan untuk merumuskan pertumbuhan volume lalu lintas adalah faktor pertumbuhan lalu lintas yang tertera pada Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan 2012. Angka inilah yang digunakan sebagai acuan dalam memprediksikan volume lalu lintas yang terjadi di jaringan jalan kawasan terusan ijen kota Malang pada tahun 2013 sampai dengan 5 tahun, sehingga diperoleh tingkat pelayanan masing-masing jaringan jalan di sekitar kawasan tersebut. Hasil dari kajian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan (1) pada lokasi kajian rata-rata mendapatkan nilai LOS ≥ C sehingga perlu adanya perbaikan (2) tiap-tiap lokasi kajian mendapatkan rekayasa lalu lintas yang berbeda-beda namun bersinambungan antara satu dan lainnya

    Batak people have value system of vision, mentality and attitude which may be called as one top local culture, Dalihan Na Tolu (Somba Marhula-hula, nzanat mardongan tubu, elek marboru). Value of Dalihan Na Tolu directly gives cues in behaving. Relation of local cultural value to bureaucracy behavior which is formed from interaction between organizational characteristic and individual characteristic, will color mode of bureaucracy behavior where the culture is taking place, so there will be a new organizational culture. This study is to examine and describe relation of Batak culture values to the Bureaucracy of BKD, Simalungun District. The method used in this study was descriptive one with qualitative approach. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. The primary data were processed from the results of observation and interview with the Bureaucracy apparatus of BKD and a number of employees of institutions other than BKD. Whereas, the secondary data were obtained from the Secretariat of BKD. Analysis unit in this study was a set of employees of BKD, Simalungun District. The results of the study indicated that the Bureaucracy culture of BKD in Simalungun District was affected by values contained in Batak culture, Dalihan Na TA. System of consanguinity, concoisme, tribe and cognation are very dominant in individual behavior in BKD. The BKD apparatus has strong tradition, belief, and values of togetherness, so that negative attitudes appear, HOTEL (Hosom, Teal, Late), it means dislike, jealousy and arrogancy which may inhibit interaction between the employees. A leader as a king (Hula-hula) is a high and authoritative power holder. The values of Dalihan Na Tolu are meant false so that Patronage System appears.     An inter-site study of biofouling recruitment on static immersion panels in major ports of South East Asia and India

    Limited knowledge of native marine biodiversity hinders effective biodiversity management to safeguard South and Southeast Asia’s marine coastal environment against the threat of invasive species transfer through shipping. In particular, sessile marine biofouling organisms in South East Asian ports are poorly known. Through the support of the ASEAN-India Cooperation Project on the Extent of Transfer of Alien Invasive Organisms in South/South East Asia Region by Shipping, a coordinated effort to examine diversity of biofouling organisms in major port areas in Southeast Asia and India was made using polyvinylchloride (PVC) panels as recruitment surfaces in a static immersion study for a period of 12 months. Not surprisingly, the study revealed that fouling patterns differed between ports possibly as a result of dissimilar hydrographic conditions. However, there were also underlying similarities that reflected a regional uniformity in the composition of fouling communities. At the same time, the alien Caribbean bivalve Mytilopsis sallei was detected in Manila Bay (Philippines), Songkhla Port (Thailand) and Singapore. This is a first simultaneous biofouling survey involving scientists and government stakeholders from India and ASEAN nations of Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam

    he observation was conducted during April - May 2002. This study was done in relation with observation on environment quality of the waters around Riau Islands. The parameter observed were focus on the plankton communities for tweentyfives points of stations which were grouped into two zone based on the distance of the each station. Plankton abundance varied with location groups from 50- 90 % respectively. Community structure was dominated by the group of diatoms such as Chaetoceros, Dytilum, Nitzschia, Thalassionema, Thalassiothrix and the genus Ceratium (the group of Dinoflagellata). Community structure of zooplankton was dominated by the group of Copepods (45 – 90 %) and Polychaeta, Chaetognata, Bivalvia, Gastropods and Oikopleura (more than 90 %).     Gypsum dengan rumus CaSO4.2H2O mempunyai banyak sekali manfaat serta kergunaan. Di lapangan gips didapatkan dalam bentuk lembaran pipih, batu gamping. Konsep utama terbentuknya gips adalah terdapatnya Ca . Gypsum merupakan bahan utama dalam pembuatan plaster of paris, yang mana banyak sekali digunakan didunia kedokteran, industry perhiasan, dan indsutri bangunan. Gipsum diperoleh dari India dengan spesifikiasi tertentu, kemudian gypsum di hancurkan di ball mill sampai ukuran 100 mesh. Setelah mencapai ukuran yang telah diinginkan gypsum masuk kedalam rotary dryer untuk mengurangi kadar air dengan ketentuan < 0,5. Selain pengurangan kadar air gypsum masuk rotary dryer juga sebagai preheater sebelum masuk proses utama, dmana gypsum awal suhu 30°C keluar dari rotary dryer dengan suhu 90°C. Keluar dari dryer gypsum masuk ke rotary kiln dengan kondisi operasi waktu 30 menit dan suhu 150°C. Kemudian gypsum yang telah menjadi produk plaster of paris masuk ke rotary cooler untuk didinginkan. Setelah dingin plaster of paris masuk ke ball mill untuk dihancurkan sampai ukuran 500 mesh. Setelah mencapai ukuran 500 mesh gypsum di packing dengan ukuran 25kg dan 50kg. Pabrik plaster of paris ini direncanakan didirikan di Gresik, Jawa Timur dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 100.000 ton/tahun dan mulai beroperasi pada tahun 2017. Model operasi yang diterapkan adalah sistem kontinue dengan waktu operasi 330 hari/tahun dan 24 jam/hari. Utilitas yang digunakan meliputi air, steam, listrik dan bahan bakar. Bentuk perusahaan ini adalah Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan struktur organisasi garis dan staf. Dari hasil perhitungan analisa ekonomi didapatkan TCI = Rp. 281.792.080.044; ROIAT = 33,3 %; IRR = 33,64 %; POT = 2,31 tahun; BEP = 36,29 %. Dari hasil ekonomi tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik Tetrahidrofuran ini layak untuk didirikan. 2+ 2- dan SO
