    The Digital Literacy of Lecturers during the COVID-19 Pandemic

    The learning conditions due to the current COVID-19 pandemic require lecturers to have good digital literacy skills. The aims of this study were to: 1) describe the tools and applications used by lecturers in online learning, 2) describe digital literacy of lecturers, and 3) analyze factors related to digital literacy. This research approach uses a quantitative survey method with 49 lecturers at one of the largest Islamic religious campuses in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the tools used by lecturers in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic consist of internet-connected laptops (63.27 percent), internet-connected smartphone devices (30.61 percent), internet-connected computers (4.08 percent) , and a small percentage (2.04 percent) use internet-connected gadgets or tablets. Applications used by lecturers in learning consist of Zoom (95.92 percent), WhatsApps (89.90 percent), Google Classroom (57.14 percent) and Academic Information System or AIS (55.10 percent). 2) The lecturer's digital literacy level (63.27 percent) is in the moderate category which tends to be high with a score between 94 to 112 (94 ≤ X < 113). 3). The factor that is significantly related to the lecturer's digital literacy level is the respondent's basic income.Artikel penelitian ini menganalisis gambaran alat dan aplikasi yang digunanakan dosen dalam pembelajaran online, faktor-faktor dan tingkat literasi digital dosen di salah satu kampus agama Islam terbesar di Indonesia pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menjadi penting karena dunia saat ini termasuk Indonesia belum terbebas dari bencana non-alam akibat pandemik COVID-19. Guna menekan penyebaran COVID-19 tersebut, maka pembelajaran di sekolah maupun perguruan tinggi masih dilakukan secara online. Kondisi tersebut mengharuskan dosen untuk segera beradaptasi dengan sistem pembelajaran menggunakan teknologi informasi yang terhubung dengan internet. Kemampuan tersebut secara sederhana diistilahkan dengan sebutan literasi digital dalam pembelajaran. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakna kuantitatif dengan metode survey kepada 49 dosen di salah satu kampus agama Islam terbesar di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat yang digunakan dosen dalam pembelajaran online di masa pandemi COVID-19 terdiri dari laptop atau personal computer yang terhubung internet (63.27 persen), perangkat telepon pintar (smartphone) yang terhubung internet (30.61 persen), komputer atau dekstop yang terhubung internet (4.08 persen), dan sebagian kecil (2.04 persen) lainnya menggunakan gadget atau tablet yang terhubung internet. Aplikasi yang digunakan dosen dalam pembelajaran terdiri dari Zoom (95.92 persen), WhatsApps (89.90 persen), Google Classroom (57.14 persen) dan Academic Information System atau AIS (55.10 persen). Pendapatan pokok responden adalah faktor yang berhubungan nyata dengan tingkat literasi digital dosen. Adapun tingkat literasi digital dosen (63.27 persen) tergolong sedang cenderung tinggi dengan rentangan skor antara 94 sampai dengan 112 (94 ≤ X < 113).This research article analyzes the description of the tools and applications used by lecturers in online learning, the factors and the level of digital literacy of lecturers at one of the largest Islamic religious campuses in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is important because the world today, including Indonesia, has not been free from non-natural disasters due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to suppress the spread of COVID-19, learning in schools and universities is still carried out online. This condition requires lecturers to immediately adapt to the learning system using information technology that is connected to the internet. This ability is simply termed as digital literacy in learning. This research approach uses a quantitative survey method to 49 lecturers of the largest Islamic religious campuses in Indonesia. The results showed that the tools used by lecturers in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic consisted of personal computers connected to the internet (63.27 %), internet-connected smartphone devices (30.61 %), computers connected to the internet (4.08 %), and a small portion (2.04 %) use internet-connected gadgets or tablets. Applications used by lecturers in learning consist of Zoom (95.92 %), WhatsApp (89.90 %), Google Classroom (57.14 %) and the Academic Information System or AIS (55.10 %). The respondent's basic income is a factor that is significantly related to the level of digital literacy of lecturers. The level of digital literacy of lecturers (63.27 %) is classified as moderate and tends to be high with a score range between 94 to 112 (94 X < 113)

    Hubungan Literasi Digital dengan Perilaku Penyebaran Hoaks pada Kalangan Dosen di Masa Pandemi Covid-19

    Abstrak – Jumlah penyebaran hoaks di masa pandemi covid-19 cukup memprihatinkan. Kajian Tirto.id menemukan fakta bahwa tahun 2020 menjadi tahun terburuk karena jumlah sebaran hoaks mengalami peningkatan paling tajam (133 persen) bila dibandingkan tahun 2019 dari yang semula 1.011 kasus menjadi 2.360 kasus. Fenomena penyebaran hoaks tersebut menjadi sebuah isu tanggung jawab bersama antara pemerintah, masyarakat termasuk dosen selaku insan akademis. Dosen memiliki peran dan tanggung jawab strategis sebagai agen perubahan (agent of change) dalam menjalankan tugas Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi salah satunya mengendalikan penyebaran hoaks melalui pendidikan. Hanya saja, tidak menutup kemungkinan bahwa penyebaran hoaks datang dari kalangan dosen itu sendiri. Terlebih lagi aktivitas dosen saat ini masih banyak dilakukan dari rumah (work from home) dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi (internet) sehingga berpeluang lebih sering menerima berbagai informasi hoaks. Maka dari itu, tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan karakteristik responden dan literasi digital dengan perilaku penyebaran hoaks pada kalangan dosen di masa pandemi covid-19. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner secara daring kepada 49 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan nyata antara masa kerja, pengetahuan tentang hoaks dan literasi digital dengan perilaku penyebaran hoaks pada kalangan dosen di masa pandemi Covid-19.

    Mental is something that is very vital in living life. If a person's mental health is healthy, daily activities will run smoothly and live a happy life which can be transmitted to family, relatives and the environment. But there are still many people who are mentally disturbed so that they live a life full of anxiety. Not for the santri who are in all the pesantren, many of them are mentally disturbed. The contributing factors, among others, are demanding knowledge and unrealized desires resulting in stress and anxiety. This study aims to determine the effect of dhikr Lazimah on mental health which is carried out at the Al-Falah Biru Islamic boarding school, the Tijaniyah tarekat and to find out the Tijaniyah dhikr Lazimah method which is carried out at the Al-Falah Biru Islamic boarding school. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The results of the study show that the influence of the usual dhikr affects their mental health, as evidenced by the students who are stressed and then practice the usual dzikr they are free from these psychological diseases.     This study discusses the multicultural value content in the 2013 Textbook of Catholic Religious Education and Curriculum Ethics to describe and analyze various themes and characteristics of multicultural values in the Textbook. Besides, this study also aims to describe and analyze dialectics and how the Catholic Church evangelizes multicultural values in the textbooks discussed. Religious education includes the characteristics and levels of multicultural values that officially reveal the Church to proclaim multicultural values. This study is literature research using content analysis methods, and conceptual analysis approaches to the textbooks discussed. The results showed that there was a multicultural value contained in it. Based on this analysis, this study has two conclusions that summarize the achievement of its objectives. First, there are various multicultural themes and characteristics in the 2013 Curriculum Textbook of Religion and Ethics Education. Second, dialectics and the way the Catholic Church organizes the preaching of multicultural values in the 2013 Curriculum Religion and Ethics Textbook. This study can contribute to developing the concept and policies regarding the teaching of multiculturalism in Indonesia, a pluralist country, to become a model for similar countries

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan menguatnya sentimen keagamaan masyarakat terhadap Jamaah Tabligh di Bandung Barat yang berujung pada penolakan. Namun kasus tersebut berdampak positif bagi Jamaah Tabligh dengan meningkatnya jumlah pengikut mereka di Bandung Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, teori Peter Ludwig Berger dan Thomas Luckmann, Charles Young Glock dan Rodney William Stark, dan David G. Myers sebagai teori analisisnya. Temuan penelitian ini di antaranya pertama, pola keberagamaan Jamaah Tabligh secara mutualis saling mempengaruhi antara dimensi doktrin, ajaran, ritual, penghayatan dan pengamalan. Kedua, interaksi sosial yang terbentuk di antara keduanya terjalin secara dialektis dan asosiatif. Ketiga, perilaku meeka dipengaruhi oleh orientasi motivasional dan orientasi nilai, sehingga respon masyarakat Bandung Barat terbagi menjadi 3 (tiga) kategori, yaitu: 1) sub sistem budaya yang memunculkan penolakan dan prasangka sosial, 2) sub sistem sosial yang memunculkan penerimaan tanpa keterlibatan dan 3) sub sistem kepribadian yang memunculkan sikap penerimaan disertai keterlibatan.This research was motivated by the strengthening of the religious sentiment of the Jamaah Tabligh in West Bandung which led to rejection. However, this case had a positive impact on Jamaah Tabligh by increasing the number of their followers in West Bandung. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenology approach, the theory of Peter Ludwig Berger and Thomas Luckmann, Charles Young Glock and Rodney William Stark, and David G. Myers as the theory of analysis. The findings of this study include the first, the religious patterns of Jamaah Tabligh mutually influence each other between the dimensions of doctrine, teachings, rituals, appreciation and practice. Second, the social interactions that form between them are dialectical and associative. Third, their behavior is influenced by a motivational orientation and value orientation, so that the response of the people of West Bandung is divided into 3 (three) categories, namely: 1) a cultural sub-system that creates social rejection and prejudice, 2) a social sub-system that creates acceptance without involvement and 3) personality sub-system that gives rise to acceptance accompanied by involvement

As for the results of this research, halal lifestyle and wara' lifestyle have harmony so that halal lifestyle is a practice of wara' values.
