Nutrition is the intake of food to meet the body’s dietary Needs through different sources namely vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods. Good nutrition and well balanced diet with regular physical activities is acceptable. Poor nutrition leads to reduction in immunity of an individual, in other hand increased levels of nutrition leads susceptible to a wide varieties of disease, damage the physical, mental development and reduced productivity. The purpose of this study is to find the nutritional status of school going boys and girls in Government school children in Rompicherla Mandal, Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh. As we all know they are the future of our country. In view of the the importance of children health care especially, Indian population consist   approximately forty percent are children and that to under the age of 15 years. To assess the anthropometric indices among children. A total number of 613 Government school going children were selected for the present study.  A complete physical examination of the children was conducted and recorded. In the present study out of total 613 school going children 49.43% had overall normal nutritional status, 24.14 % Grade-I, 16.48 Grade-II and 9.95 had overall Grade-III. 23.59% (92) had Grade-I, Grade-II 16.15% (63) and Grade-III malnutrition 11.80% (46) respectively in boys of study area in the Government Schools. Where as in girls over all 51.12 % (114), 25.11% (56), 17.04% (38) and 6.73% (15) respectively had the malnutrition in the study area. In the present study, nutritional status was found highly related to the personal hygiene and socio economic status. Schools need to provide knowledge and awareness about Personnel hygiene, Nutrition. Keywords: Government schools Nutrition, School Children, Anthropometry, Malnutrition and Dietary intake.

Female Psychology in Sangam Era and in Velliveediyar songs

Sangam literary works are very good and among those works the feminine features given by male writers are completely different from female writers. Writings about women by women is unique both emotionally and socially. Feminist songs are often about demanding identity. It is appropriate to assume that Velliveethiyar is unique among Sangam women singers in her choice of song and style of singing. Sangam era writers in their writings destroys a woman's personal feelings, likes, dislikes, sexual desires, etc. and makes her just as a body. But Velliveethiyar is different from all these writers and she unabashedly poeticises love and lust

FEDRESOURCE: Federated Learning Based Resource Allocation in Modern Wireless Networks

    Get PDF
Deep reinforcement learning can effectively deal with resource allocation (RA) in wireless networks. However, more complex networks can have slower learning speeds, and a lack of network adaptability requires new policies to be learned for newly introduced systems. To address these issues, a novel federated learning-based resource allocation (FEDRESOURCE) has been proposed in this paper which efficiently performs RA in wireless networks. The proposed FEDRESOURCE technique uses federated learning (FL) which is a ML technique that shares the DRL-based RA model between distributed systems and a cloud server to describe a policy. The regularized local loss that occurs in the network will be reduced by using a butterfly optimization technique, which increases the convergence of the FL algorithm. The suggested FL framework speeds up policy learning and allows for adoption by employing deep learning and the optimization technique. Experiments were conducted using a Python-based simulator and detailed numerical results for the wireless RA sub-problems. The theoretical results of the novel FEDRESOURCE algorithm have been validated in terms of transmission power, convergence of algorithm, throughput, and cost. The proposed FEDRESOURCE technique achieves maximum transmit power up to 27%, 55%, and 68% energy efficiency compared to Scheduling policy, Asynchronous FL framework, and Heterogeneous computation schemes respectively. The proposed FEDRESOURCE technique can increase discrimination accuracy by 1.7%, 1.2%, and 0.78% compared to the scheduling policy framework, Asynchronous FL framework, and Heterogeneous computation schemes respectively

Microbial production of polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) utilizing fruit waste as a substrate

Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) are polyesters of hydroxyalkanoates synthesized by various bacteria as intracellular carbon and energy storage compounds and accumulated as granules in the cytoplasm of cells. PHA producing bacteria from soil were isolated, characterized and screened by Nile blue staining method. Screened organisms were subjected to  fermentation with glucose as carbon source and low-cost raw material like jambul seed (Syzygium cumini). The strain SPY-1 showed higher amount of PHA accumulation when compared to the other strains and was comparable with that of the reference strain Ralstonia eutropha. The extracted PHA granules were analyzed with Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and the peak was in the regions of 1650.9, 1728-1288 and 1725-1277, correspond to the stretching of the C=O bond which was similar to the standard Polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB)

    Marketing Behaviour of Jasmine Growers

The present study was conducted in select villages of Tirunelveli district of TamilNadu in order to know the marketing behaviour of jasmine growers with a sample size of 120 respondents. The respondents were selected based on proportionate random sampling method. The results of the study revealed that majority of the jasmine growers were using polythene bags for packing the produce and sold their produce through commission agents. More than two - fifths sold their produce in the villages. Majority of the respondents considered ‘immediate payment’ as the main criterion for the selection of market. Majority of the respondents had reported that they were not having sufficient marketing facility

    Fisheries Glossary: English - Hindi

When speaking of the Scientific concepts, as the scientific concepts are well understood in the context of their definition, many words and definition are explained in a few lines in Hindi or in English. A bench mark has been fixed with the Molluscan biology to explain the fisheries contexts. The generic, species names and international concepts have been retained as such and rendered in Devanagari script; in certain cases of binominal nomenclature, taxonomical reference with common names are given. Words and expressions of common interests have also been compared with other fisheries departmental glossaries to bring in equilibrium of words. Selected common fish names have been adopted from regional languages and so also the pan Hindi usages like kayal, kattamaram, chakara, pokkali, bheri etc. We have also tried to add latest and most up to date English words on fisheries to make it acceptable to educational circles and Government departments. In fact this glossary is a compilation of more than eight thousand technical referral terms which we were referring and adding for more than the last 2 decades while enriching the Hindi literature on fisheries
