The Implementation of Problem Based Learning to Increase Activity and Learning Outcomes of Economics Subject in Senior High School Students

Education with the learning model Problem Based Learning has an important role to improve the ability of active thinking and learning outcomes so that it gets good achievements because in this economic subject one of the subjects that requires deeper understanding because in learning it requires carefulness, accuracy, and sensitivity in analyzing conditions that occur in the surrounding environment. The method in this research is classroom action research which in its research requires quantitative and qualitative data which is carried out in two cycles including 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. From the results of the implementation of the research phase, it was found that the results showed that the activeness and learning outcomes experienced an increase in criteria very well in the second cycle, the results of which could be seen in the effectiveness assessment sheet and learning outcomes

Competence of Economic Teachers in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0: Case Study at State High Schools in Malang City, Indonesia

The competencies needed by teachers in the era of disruption according to the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia include teachers, gatekeepers, facilitators, catalysts, and connectors. This research was conducted in 10 Public High Schools in Malang City. The focus of research is to find out how the level of competency of economic teachers in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. This research is a preliminary research, through preliminary studies and field surveys. From the survey results, it is known that the competences of economic teachers are still focused on teaching, gatekeepers, and some facilitators. Then the training model to improve teacher competences in the industrial revolution 4.0 era will be very helpful. In the next study, the development of teacher competency training era in the Republic of Indonesia 4.0 will be carried out with the aim of increasing teacher competence, which in the long run will improve the quality of students. Improve Students Activeness With Lesson Study Based Debate Model Integrated Numbered Heads Together Model

Based on preliminary observation in Public Senior High School 1 Tumpang eleventh social three class, known that the problem faced by the school mentioned is the learning process applied by the teacher is mainly lecturing and giving an assignment, also the lesson study has not been applied yet. What is more, students still tend to pay less attention or less observant to Economics subject and some of the students were less active or passive in giving an opinion in class so a proper, interesting and fun learning is necessary, that is  Lesson Study Based Debate Model integrated with Numbered Head Together (NHT). This study aims to describe the implementation of lesson study based debate model combined with numbered head together model (NHT) to enhance student activeness on economics subject (study case of eleventh social three students of Public Senior High School 1 Tumpang 2015/2016 academic year). The type of this research is classroom action research through lesson study. This research was conducted in two cycles. The subject of this research is eleventh social three students of Public Senior High School 1 Tumpang with the total 30 students that consist of 13 males and 17 females 2015/2016 academic year. The data used is lesson study based debate model integrated with numbered head together model (NHT) from analyzing learning implementation plan and observation page, and students’ activeness from observation page. PENGEMBANGAN E-COMIC SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN EKONOMI KELAS X DI SMAN 7 MALANG POKOK BAHASAN SISTEM PEMBAYARAN DAN ALAT PEMBAYARAN

Based on interview and observation carried out by the researcher to the Economy teacher in SMAN 7 Malang, the teachers find it difficult to deliver Economic material by adding information related with the environment around students in both the social environment and the natural environment in the process of teaching and learning in the classroom. Teachers only use verbal means namely lecture method. Based on the problems faced by the teachers, researchers provide a solution using instructional media in the form of e-comic highlighted to the payment system by adding information that enhances the students awareness of the surrounding.This type of research is developmental research by using descriptive qualitative analysis with using a model research and development Borg and Gall. The study was conducted in 10th Grade of Social Science of 4 in SMAN 7 Malang. The instrument of this study uses a questionnaire derived from the expert validation for media, experts for the material and the assessment from students to the media. Based on the result of the questionnaire, the developmental media used e-comic as an instructional media highlighted on payment systems and payment instruments subject, has a decent criteria with the acquisition of a percentage around 98% from the expert for material, 95% for instructional media experts and 97% from the questionnaire assessment of students that can be used to assist the teachers in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. It is suggested for the teacher to provide reinforcement at each learning activity using e-comic media as development results

ANALISIS PENGETAHUAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN DAN JIWA WIRAUSAHA PADA SISWA SMA NEGERI 2 MALANG

This research departs from the problem of lack of understanding of the importance of entrepreneurship in high school. The existence of entrepreneurship subjects is expected to develop students' skills in developing the business and foster the entrepreneurial spirit that is in the students themselves. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive located in SMA Negeri 2 Malang. Technique of collecting data is done through observation, test, interview and documentation. The results showed that students can understand entrepreneurial knowledge well with the thought to open a business and mengmebangkan effort. In addition each student has the characteristics of entrepreneurial spirit that is different in him. PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BERBASIS APLIKASI ANDROID UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KEWIRAUSAHAAN (Studi Pada Kelas XI APK SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Singosari Materi Aspek Organisasi)

The purpose of this research is produced interactive learning media used for android which will be used for students class XI APK SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Singosari aspecially on the subject of entrepreneurship Lesson. Design in this research 4D model (Four D). The stages to be performed by the researcher include 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Development, and 4) Disseminate. In these stages will be validated by a team of experts consisting of expert material, expert media, and trial to explore the effectiveness of the product developed. On the results of the validity of experts material obtained results 72.87%, quite valid, on the sheet of validity expert media obtained results 91.25%. In the user trial obtained the results of 83.42% and applies to the average overall repetition rate was found at 82.51% which can be concluded that the learning media based on android application on the Entrepreneurship lessons is valid and feasible to used

PENGARUH PARTISIPASI SISWA DALAM KOPERASI SEKOLAH DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI BAB KEWIRAUSAHAAN TERHADAP MINAT BERWIRAUSAHA SISWA KELAS XI IIS SMA NEGERI 2 MALANG TAHUN AJARAN 2014/ 2015

Interest in entrepreneurship is a desire and a sense of interest to entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship interest identified in keinginann to be a good entrepreneur and trying to develop the ability to look and see business opportunities, gather the resources needed to make something more useful and can take keuntunngan. Interest in entrepreneurship in students can be nurtured and developed at school through the learning economy, besides one of them also through the facilities provided by the school as a place of business or a business that is in school, the school cooperative. This study aims to explain the influence of the independent variable is participation in the cooperative school students and student learning outcomes on economic subjects and entrepreneurship chapter dependent variable is the students' interest in entrepreneurship either partially or simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach with a kind of explanatory research and the sample amounted to 88 students drawn from the primary data source and using the questionnaire technique. The results using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 16.00 for Windows indicates that the data are normally distributed, besides the independent variable has a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable the percentage coefficient of determination of 66.6%

PENGEMBANGAN E-MODULE EKONOMI PADA MATERI UANG DAN PERBANKAN UNTUK SISWA KELAS X A SMA NEGERI 1 PANGGUL TRENGGALEK TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015

This research was implemented because of the burnout and boredom Economics students to receive lessons because teachers only use the lecture method without any other study variation and only rely on one textbook as a source of learning. In addition, many students are reluctant to read the text book because the book is less interesting and too many posts. SMA Negeri 1 Panggul Trenggalek have been had some enough electronic facilities, but it not used optimally by the teachers in learning process. The E-Module research and development model used is ADDIE. Model with five steps, that is analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In the development of this Economics E Module involves the validation of material expert and media experts from Economics professor and lecturer who are competent in the learning media. In addition, the subject of the trial in this research are all students in Tenth Grade A that about of 32 students. The result of the research and validation of material expert and media expert shows that the Econimics E-Module on Money and Banking Material is fit for use. Based on the result of pre test and post test that was gave to students before and after using the Economics E-Module indicates that E-Module is effectively used to improve the students learning outcomes

An Analysis of STEM-Based Lesson Plan Development for Economic Learning at SMAN 1 Kota Batu

The current era of education is entering Education 4.0 as a result of Industrial Revolution 4.0. The quality of learning can be improved by integrating STEM-based learning models. STEM is an integration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, which is in accordance with Industrial Revolution 4.0. Handayani (2019) researched the development of STEM-based learning models for prospective economics teachers (a case study at state teacher colleges in East Java) and found that by carrying out STEM-based learning, the pedagogical ability of prospective economic teachers (S1 Economics Education students) in East Java had a significant increase of 14.5 at the State University of Malang (UM), 12.15 at the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) and 13.56 at the Jember State University (UNEJ). Based on these results, it can be said that the STEM model can be applied to support teachers’ pedagogical abilities in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. This study aimed to analyze STEM-based lesson plan development at SMAN 1 Kota Batu. Descriptive qualitative methods were used. The results indicated that: 1) the preparation of lesson plans in economic subjects was carried out well; 2) the development of STEM-based lesson plans can be applied in economic learning; and 3) the STEM-based lesson plans that were developed succeeded in improving student learning outcomes. Synchronous Learning with STEM and Economics Students’ Critical Thinking Abilities

Increasing the quality of education has been a global challenge. The Indonesian government has responded this issue by reforming new curriculum that focuses on students’ activities and critical thinking ability. This study aims at investigating the implementation of synchronous learning with STEM and its impact to students’ critical thinking ability. This research adopted mixed methods, quasi-experimentally by using non-equivalent control group design research to gain a deeper understanding during experiment. The result of this work notes that synchronous learning with STEM slightly out performs the conventional learning activities and it can moderately illustrate the enhancing of students’ critical thinking skills. The introduction of STEM in social sciences, primarily in an economics course, faces some challenges and adjustments as well as its implementation using live synchronous learning This result suggests to more comprehensive planning and materials in adopting STEM in social sciences as well as an effort to increase students’ activities.Keywords: Critical Thinking Skills, STEM Education, Economics Students, Synchronous Learning
