    Developing Android-Based Instructional Media of Economic Subject for Senior High School

    This research aims at identifying the utilization of YouTube as an instructional media of Economic subject for senior high school students. This research employed a Research and Development approach (R&D). It involved the tenth grader students of SMA Trimurti 01 Pakisaji, Malang Regency. To validate the developed media, it performed product validation which was carried out by media and lesson content experts. In addition, a user test was also administered which involved teacher and students; it was conducted twice. The results confirmed that the media developed is feasible and acceptable to be used which obtained 83.01 percent of an average score.

    The Implementation of Problem Based Learning to Increase Activity and Learning Outcomes of Economics Subject in Senior High School Students

    Education with the learning model Problem Based Learning has an important role to improve the ability of active thinking and learning outcomes so that it gets good achievements because in this economic subject one of the subjects that requires deeper understanding because in learning it requires carefulness, accuracy, and sensitivity in analyzing conditions that occur in the surrounding environment. The method in this research is classroom action research which in its research requires quantitative and qualitative data which is carried out in two cycles including 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. From the results of the implementation of the research phase, it was found that the results showed that the activeness and learning outcomes experienced an increase in criteria very well in the second cycle, the results of which could be seen in the effectiveness assessment sheet and learning outcomes

    Concept Mapping Strategy in Teaching Learning Economic Concepts and Perception of Students on Teaching Learning Economic Concept Through Concept Mapping

    This study aim to investigate the effect of using concept mapping in teaching learning process for teachers and students. The study was carried out in XI Arts at Dechencholing Higher Secondary School under Thimphu Tromde, Bhutan with 35 students. The study was a mixed method. The quantitative data collected through class (pretest and posttest) test were analyzed and interpreted using descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation, and inferential statistics such as t-test and level of confidence and statistical significance. The qualitative data collected though observation of group works and presentation, and group reflective journal were analyzed by coding and thematic analysis was drawn to analyze the data. The findings showed concept mapping plays an important role in teaching learning process and has positive opinion towards concept mapping usage. It enhances descriptive ability, understand and help to remember concepts, build confidence and enhance active participation in the classroom. However, all concept cannot be taught through concepts mapping. It is also not always easy to construct all concept map.     The purpose of this study was to determine entrepreneurship education taught by SME owners in Rejoso Hamlet, Junrejo District, Batu City, entrepreneurial values that are instilled by SME owners as parents to their children, interest in entrepreneurship in the child's self after getting an entrepreneurial education. This study uses a qualitative research approach to the type of phenomenological research. The selection of informants uses the snowball sampling method. The techniques used in this data collection are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. To test the validity of the data, checking the data through triangulation of sources to the informants' children, and increasing accuracy.     The Implementation of Semester Credit System-Based Economic Learning in The 2013 Curriculum Application of Senior High School

    This paper intends to describe and discuss the implementation of semester credit system-based learning in Economics subject of senior high school. This research used qualitative field research approach to identify the implementation of semester credit system-based learning in SMAN 2 Mojokerto. The data collection was obtained through interviews, field observation, and documentation. Based on the data obtained, the implementation of semester credit system-based learning has been conducted well. However, the researchers discovered that there were some obstacles such as students’ lack of motivation, enthusiasm, and responsibility. Thus, it is important for teachers and school counsellors to direct and guide students during the learning process.

    Image-Based Student Worksheet Development to Improve Student Learning Interest

    Student Worksheet (LKS) is a printed teaching material in the form of sheets of paper containing material, summaries, and instructions for implementing learning tasks that must be done by students. This study aims to determine the image-based student worksheets used can increase student interest in economic subjects in class X in Sulek High School. Development research uses the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The sample in this study were 20th grade X students. The results of the development of the image-based worksheet for the analysis phase showed that students needed material that connected the material to everyday life. The design phase designs student worksheets by adding learning objectives and concept maps in the preamble, and adding images related to the material. The development phase consists of two stages, step 1 adding images according to the material and in step 2 adding sources to the images. The results of the LKS validation that have been developed increase from stage 1 to 3.5, stage 2, which is 3.9 stage 3, which is 4.7 with very good criteria. After the implementation phase shows the learning outcomes of students before using the worksheet reached a percentage of 25% after using the worksheets the students increased, namely in the first phase reaching a percentage of 75%, in the second stage 80% and in the third stage until reaching the highest number of subjects completing the value of 90%.KeywordsStudent Worksheet, Learning Outcome

    Developing A Supplementary Book About The Potential and Utilization of Natural Resources for Social Studies Lesson

    Social studies subject is one of complex and broad lessons for students. This subject is considered as one of the most difficult subjects by students. This researcher, then, aims at developing a supplementary book to support the learning process of Social Studies. This research and development employed a modified Borg and Gall model (consisted of nine major stages). The assessment of the developed product was obtained from expert validators and field trials. The validation from the expert validators concluded that the developed supplementary book is feasible to be applied. In addition, the field trials confirmed that the developed supplementary book is practical to be used and it is able to improve students’ learning outcomes

    Development of Economic E-Module on Money and Banking Material For Student

    This research was implemented because of the burnout and boredom Economics students to receive lessons because teachers only use the lecture method without any other study variation and only rely on one textbook as a source of learning. Besides, many students are reluctant to read the textbook because the book is less interesting and too many posts. SMA Negeri 1 Panggul Trenggalek have been had some enough electronic facilities, but it not used optimally by the teachers in the learning process. The E-Module research and development model used is ADDIE model with five steps, that is analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In the development of this Economics E-Module involves the validation of material expert and media experts from Economics professors and lecturers who are competent in the learning media. Besides, the subject of a trial in this research is all students in Tenth Grade A that about 32 students. The result of the research and validation of material expert and media expert shows that the Economics E-Module on Money and Banking Material is fit for use. Based on the result of the pre-test and post-test that was given to students before and after using the Economic E-Module indicates that E-Module is effectively used to improve the students learning outcomes. KeywordsDeveloping, Economics E-Module, Money and Bankin

    The Analysis of Independent Learning Activities Unit-Based Learning on Senior High School Students

    This study aimed at assessing the implementation of Independent Learning Activities Unit-based learning. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Selection of research subjects using purposive sampling method. Data collection uses two techniques, including: in-depth interviews and observation. The results of this study include: (1) The teacher has carried out several activities that can encourage student activeness but some activities in learning have not been carried out in accordance with the principles of Independent Learning Activities Unit, these activities include: in encouraging student participation, the teacher has not emphasized participation in thinking, test formative is done by students in groups which should be done independently and the teacher does not use the results of the formative test to determine whether these students can continue to the next Independent Learning Activities Unit or not. (2) students in the fast learner category have used Independent Learning Activities Unit according to the principle of student active and complete learning, while for students who are medium and slow learners have not fully used Independent Learning Activities Unit according to the principles of student active and complete learning.

    The Independent Learning Activity Unit as a learning instrument for students to achieve knowledge and skills competency in learning is an interesting topic for discussion. Independent Learning Activity Unit has a fundamental role in developing independent learning strategies and helping students achieve mastery learning. This research used a qualitative approach. Evaluative research was implemented to determine the level of effectivity, feasibility, and objectivity. The model used in this study is the Stake Model (Countenance) evaluation model developed by Robert Stake. There were three stages carried out in this study, namely; Antecedents (input), Transaction (process), Output (output). The results of the implementation of the Stake Model (Countenance) research stage showed that the use of Independent Learning Activity Unit in class X Social Studies SMA Negeri 1 Malang was going well
