User Satisfaction with Resources and Services of Public Libraries of Lahore, Pakistan
Abstract
This study was intended to examine the level of user satisfaction with respect to the resources and services of public libraries and the problems faced by the public library users in Lahore, Pakistan. For the purpose of the study, a quantitative research approach based on survey method was used. A structured questionnaire was designed to collect data from the public library users utilizing convenience sampling. The study population consisted of users of four major public libraries in Lahore, Pakistan. The findings showed that the majority of the respondents tended to visit the public library daily and were satisfied with the circulation services at the library. They also considered the public library to be the best information resource in their area. However, they were found to be dissatisfied with the internet-based services available at their libraries as well as the lack of a library-user relationship. This study provides useful information for improving library resources and services in Pakistan, and would help to improve the level of user satisfaction and library services quality in the public sector libraries of Lahore. It also emphasizes the need for the policy makers to device a benchmark for quality service delivery in public libraries in Pakistan.

An Empirical Analysis of Correlation Between Technostress and Job Satisfaction: A Case of KPK, Pakistan
The objective of this research was to explore an association between technostress and job satisfaction of university librarians in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa (KPK), Pakistan. For that reason a self-administered questionnaire was used to gather the data from 148 librarians serving in 25 public and private sectors universities of KPK. The entire population (N=148) was selected as respondents because the population was accessible. For this study, 148 questionnaires were distributed and only 120 questionnaires were returned. However, after initial data screening, 116 questionnaires were ascertained as useable for further statistical analyses. Pearson correlation was calculated to investigate the correlation of technostress and job satisfaction. Multiple regression analysis was performed to test the three hypotheses between technostress dimensions and job satisfaction. Findings of this study show a negative but statistically significant relationship of three dimensions of technostress with job satisfaction. Based on multiple regression analysis-all the three hypotheses, (H1, H2, and H3) are supported. This study will be significant in controlling stress caused by technology and enhancing the level of job satisfaction among Pakistani university librarians. The study will equally contribute to the literature on relationship between technostress and job satisfaction. No identical previous studies were located on this topic in the context of Pakistani university librarianship.

Measuring Library Service Quality of the College Libraries in Pakistan: An Analysis of the LibQUAL Comments
Abstract
This study is a part of a large research project and measures the library service quality of the college libraries of the Punjab, Pakistan. This study is also tried to present an alternative methodology to analyze comments as part of large questionnaire-based survey. Data has been consisted of 609 respondent’s qualitative comments. The study identifies the overall poor infrastructure of the college libraries in Pakistan. Majority of the respondents have given negative feedback about the current status and the situation of the libraries. It has been noted that most of the colleges have been established over 50 years ago, but their libraries are still situated in a single room, poorly managed and having space issues, electricity issues and ventilation issues (especially in the South Punjab). Moreover, the non-availability of the latest resources, total absence of ICTs tools and non-cooperative attitude of the staff has been the major concerns for the library users. The key reason for all these negative remarks is that approximately over 500 vacant posts of the college librarians in Punjab have remained vacant since last decade. There is an immediate need to fill these vacant posts, increase college library budgets and improve overall infrastructure of the libraries by the Govt. of the Punjab as well as the Punjab Higher Education Commission.

Information Security in Business: A Bibliometric Analysis of the 100 Top Cited Articles
This study aims a bibliometric analysis of the 100 top-cited articles extracted from the Web of Science database on the topic of information security in the business context. A retrospective method was applied to the dataset extracted from the Web of Science Database. A total of 500 most cited items were downloaded and the authors selected the articles related to information security and business for further analysis. It was found that the top-cited papers were published between the years 1990 and 2018 and had received 3,375 citations. While most of the articles followed the three-author pattern, the single author pattern articles had received the maximum citation impact. Cybersecurity policies were recognized as the most researched topic and the majority of articles had been published in Quartile-1 journals. Furthermore, the majority (67%) of the articles were published in journals having impact factors ranging from 2.3 to 6.95. The Journal of Management Information System was found to top the list of most prolific journals with 13 articles. This study identifies the trends and patterns of research publications on information security in the business. This evaluation is likely to develop awareness in understanding the scope and coverage of information security from a business perspective. The findings of this study have highlighted the various parameters of highly cited articles on information security published during the last three decades. The results might support new researchers’ interest in information security in the context of businesses
المقارنة بين رواية الامام ورش و رواية الامام حفص في سورة البقره ضوء قصة (ابراهيم عليه السلام): The comparison between the Warsh recitation and the recitation of Imam Hafs in Surat Al-Baqarah in the light of the story (Ibrahim, peace be upon him)
Warsh 'an Naafi' is one of the main canonical methods of reciting the Qur'an. The recitations of the Quran, known in Arabic as Qira'at, are conducted under the rules of the Tajwid Science. It is attributed to Imam Warsh who in turn got it from his teacher Nafi‘ al-Madani who was one of the transmitters of the seven recitations. The recitation of Warsh 'an Naafi' is one of two major recitation traditions. The second is Hafs 'an 'Asim.
The Warsh 'an Naafi' recitation of the Quran differs from Hafs 'an Asim in orthography. The majority of differences do not affect the meaning. Yet in some cases the differences change the implications of the verse. In verse 2:184 Hafs recites the verse to be "... a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person...". On the other hand, Warsh reads it "... a ransom [as substitute] of feeding poor people..." Other variants orthography include
Information needs and seeking behavior of Pakistani Physicians
This paper aims to investigate the information need and seeking behaviour of physicians working in a well-reputed Lahore based hospital. Identification of medical professionals’ existing problems related to information searching and retrieval from the hospital library was another main objective of this study. A quantitative research approach is utilized to conduct this study and a cross-sectional survey research method is used to collect data on a self-reporting questionnaire. A total 226 medical doctors working in a Lahore based hospital participated in the survey. The findings of the study revealed that majority of the participants accessed the library information resources to keep themselves up-to-date with the professional developments and for the purpose of their continuing education. Moreover, majority of the respondents preferred print sources to fulfil their information needs. Problems, as well as suggestions are also presented in the study. This is the first study in nature which is conducted on medical doctors of a well- reputed Lahore based hospital to know their information needs, seeking behaviour and problems. Findings may be useful for the organizations offering medical services and library administration to better understand and meet the information need, seeking behaviour and problems of physicians which, as a result, might help physicians offer state-of-the-art services to patients and earn a good repute for their organization
