    The purpose of this research was to analyze the contribution of regional original revenue on financial independence of Makassar city for 2010 until 2014. The type of this research is quantitative field reseacrh. The data used in this research is financial data of Makassar city in fiscal year 2010 until 2014. According to analysis have been obtained the results showed that the sector of local taxes is a kind collection who provided the greatest contribution to regional original revenue because the average contribution per year in income reached 77.92%, then local retribution with an average is 17.15%, legitimate income is 3.40% and the smallest results separated areas of wealth management is 1.53% . While the results of the financial rasio analysis showed that the average of degree of decentralization rasio is 22.56%, financial independence is 29.60%, effectiveness is 101.33%, growth is 37.79%, and share of regional original revenue is 23.07%

    MASCULINITY TRAITS OF MAUD WATTS AS A FEMALE CHARACTER IN THE SUFFRAGETTE FILM

    This study is aimed to reveal how a female character is depicted in the film and to prove that a female character also adopted masculinity traits. The theory of characterization by Boggs and Petrie is used to reveal the depiction of Maud’s character, while to prove that Maud Watts adopted masculinity traits, the writer used the theory of Bem Sex Role Inventory by Sandra L. Bem. This study is conducted as a qualitative content analysis, which adopts the technique of coding categories. The findings of this study reveal that as a female character, Maud Watts is not only adopted femininity traits but also masculinity traits. Maud’s character is depicted through the five tools of characterization according to Boggs and Petrie. Through her appearances, she is masculine and likeable. Through the dialogues, she is independent, confident, ambitious, assertive, competitive, sympathetic and loyal. Through her external action, Maud is ambitious, sympathetic, aggressive and loyal. Through her internal actions, she is sensitive and independent. Next, through reactions of other characters, she is smart, aggressive and ambitious. Those findings prove that as a female character, Maud also adopted masculinity traits. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana karakter perempuan digambarkan dalam film dan untuk membuktikan bahwa karakter perempuan juga mengadopsi sifat maskulinitas. Teori karakterisasi dari Boggs dan Petrie digunakan untuk mengungkap penggambaran karakter Maud, sementara untuk membuktikan bahwa Maud Watts mengadopsi sifat maskulinitas, penulis menggunakan teori Bem Sex Role Inventory dari Sandra L. Bem. Kajian ini dilakukan sebagai analisis isi kualitatif, yang mengadopsi teknik pengkodean kategori. Temuan kajian ini mengungkapkan bahwa sebagai karakter wanita, Maud tidak hanya mengadopsi sifat feminitas tetapi juga sifat maskulinitas. Karakter Maud digambarkan melalui lima alat karakterisasi menurut teori dari Boggs dan Petrie. Melalui penampilannya, Maud diketahui memiliki sifat maskulin dan menyenangkan. Melalui dialog, Maud mandiri, percaya diri, ambisius, tegas, kompetitif, simpatik, dan loyal. Melalui tindakan luarnya, Maud ambisius, simpatik, agresif, dan loyal. Melalui tindakan internalnya, dia sensitif dan mandiri. Selanjutnya, melalui reaksi dari karakter lain, Maud diketahui sebagai orang yang pintar, agresif dan ambisius. Temuan itu membuktikan bahwa sebagai karakter wanita, Maud juga mengadopsi sifat-sifat maskulinitas.

    ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan starter Lactobacillus plantarum pada konsentrasi 3%, 4% dan 5% dan diinkubasi selama 48 jam pada suhu kamar. Pengamatan terhadap susu fermentasi dilakukan selama 8 hari. Uji antibakteri ini dilakukan untuk melihat apakah susu fermentasi tersebut mampu menekan pertumbuhan patogen enterobakteri. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian aktivitas penghambatan mikroba dari susu fermentasi terhadap bakteri patogen dengan tiga kali ulangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan ANOVA. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan susu fermentasi sebagai antibakteri terhadap Escherichia coli dan Shigella flexneri terjadi pada jumlah sel sebanyak (106 CFU/ml) di dalam nutrient agar. Fermentasi susu menggunakan konsentrasi 5% starter memperlihatkan luas zona hambat tertinggi yaitu 17.42 mm terhadap E. coli pada hari kedua. Sedangkan terhadap Shigella flexneri luas zona penghambatan sebesar 8.88 mm pada hari ketiga dengan konsentrasi starter yang sama.   (The antibacterial ability of fermented milk to escherichia coli and shigella flexneri) ABSTRACT. The study was performed using Lactobacillus plantarum as starter at concentrations of 3%, 4% and 5% and incubated for 48 hours at room temperature. Observation of fermented milk conducted for 8 day. The antibacterial activity test was analyzed to find whether fermented milk able to  inhibit pathogen growth. The antibacterial ability of suppressing of Enterobacteriaceae growth  observed by using Escherichia coli and Shigella flexneri (106 CFU/ml) in Nutrient Agar and challenge to fermented milk using 3%, 4% and 5% starter or about (50 µl/well). Further testing of microbial inhibitory activity of fermented milk against pathogenic bacteria conducted by three replications. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using ANOVA. The results showed that the ability of fermented milk as antibacterial on Escherichia coli and Shigella flexneri occurred in the amount of sell as much as (106 CFU / ml) when it grown in nutrient agar. As a conclusion,  fermented milk using a 5% starter showed that the highest inhibition zone of 17.42 mm to E. coli on the second day observation. While  inhibition zone of  Shigella flexnerii was 8.88 mm on the third day with the same starter concentration
