Possibilities of genetic algorithm application in the calculation of power networks operation

The paper describes the possibilities of genetic algorithm application by the reactive power flows’ optimization in Slovak power transmission system. The methods of reactive power flow calculation and the utilization of genetic algorithms for their minimalization are indicated in the paper. There are the results of calculated voltages and reactive power flows presented in chart and graphical format at the end of this paper

New possibility of lines power flow control

Present time is characteristic with increasing requests of consumers on the quality and quantity of delivered energy. In regard to financial and time difficulty of building up new power plants and distribution lines, producers and distributors must find out more a effective capacity utilization of the actual equipment. There is the place for installing the new systems FACTS – unit for the control and regulation of power flows in energetic lines, and also to limit the reactive flow in lines

Hodnotenie účinnosti regulácie napätia

Článok pojednáva o základoch regulácie napätia v pilotných uzloch ES Slovenska. Analyzuje z hľadiska denných, mesačných a ročných priemerov uzlové napätia na úrovni 220 a 400 kV v rozvodniach prenosovej sústavy Slovenska. Na základe vyhodnotenia smerodajnej odchýlky napätia je hodnotená účinnosť regulácie napätia v jednotlivých uzloch. V závere článku sú zhrnuté výsledky analýzy v grafickej forme
